This is so cute! I always imagined Sakuma and Genda adopting Miyabino (sometimes even Nishikage and Genda) but baby Ryuuzaki as their son is super cute too ;; just imagine Genda coming home from work and seeing baby Ryuuzaki sleeping on Sakumas chest, who is also asleep
Think about our favorite characters being parents it's the most cute thing, isn't it? ;;💜 Mostly the ones that had already suffer a lot...it's like "i know it's too self indulgent but let me imagine them being happy plz".

I ship them since the episode of Shin Teikoku when Genda carefully took Sakuma on his arms worried because he was hurt. It's was beautiful because it's shows how much Genda cares about him even if he wasn't being himself cause of the Aliea Meteorite. ;;
Also, he's always at Sakuma's side supporting him...even in Ares!!
They are almost always together when they are in screen and I really like their chemistry....they are like the married couple of Teikoku, just saying.

Genda and Sakuma are the moms of Teikoku ;;
I know you are talking about GO!Teikoku anon but my first thoughts when I read it was "God yes, they are the mom duo of Teikoku and Fudou is their insubordinate kid" lmao.
Ok, now talking about Go!Teikoku. Almost all the OG characters in GO have this big mom aura ["almost" because some of them have the older big brother or dad aura] and I'm sure Genda would have it too just like Sakuma ;;.
Personally I think they both [mostly Sakuma] the kind of serious/strict mom since we are talking about Teikoku but they would have those small moments when they just have fun like, for example, the whole of Teikoku eating onigiri 🍘 [prepared by Genda with Sakuma's help as reward for their hard work] while Genda & Sakuma are telling them some anecdotes about when they played in Teikoku.

Hello!~ Sorry for the delay! I had to think about my answer to not include my side ships/brotp because I don't know if you like them anon. 😂💦
❥ The classic fics that every ship have about their confession, their first date and the proposal. [I'm weak for this kind of fics].
❥ [Liocott Arc] Genda or Sakuma calling the other to talk with him, you know, about how they are doing and the news about their team. In some part they end in a comfortable silence and one of them whispers a soft "I miss you". I'm cheesy, I know.
❥ [Pre Liocott Arc] Sakuma's p.o.v. when he wasn't chosen to be part of Inazuma Japan and Genda being supportive and helping him to train on his free time while in silence he was dealing with the same feelings about not even being considered and training in secret with his team Neo Japan. Sakuma noticing that Genda was being 100% sincere about how he felt but respecting his silence.
[Optional] Time skip after the match with Neo Japan and Genda talking about it with Sakuma.
❥ Genda being supportive when Sakuma left to help with The Resistance. Probably them talking with each other when Sakuma is in Japan? About the Sector Five, Gouenji, Teikoku, The Raimon or/and the Resistance.
❥ [Coffee AU] It's classic and cheesy but Sakuma working in a coffee shop as a part time job and Genda always going there only to talk with him because Sakuma catches his interest.

Android equals robot to me. And robot and a remote control penguin is like the same. So yeah. HIkaru is playing with this toy, gift of uncle Sakuma and uncle Genda.
I also added Miyabino because @miyabinopenguin made me really liking him in the Teikoku Family.
