This always irritated me, too, and what's worse is that, "I planned to do it" has never been accepted as a good reason for me to be upset, since, "it's getting done anyway"; I'm not upset about it being done, I'm upset that you didn't even warn me before disregarding my plan, and it's only going to get worse because I can't properly explain it anymore than I can contain my frustration at this point.
when your mom presses the button on your laundry, and you planned to do it yourself. but no one will understand why you're so upset. your doubly angry because you know she knew it would trigger you and she still did it nonetheless. it was just convenient for her. (oh and she put her laundry in with it too).
no one will ever understand why I am so angry. (cause I planned to do it). no one around me at least.

You know how it is when you’re a kid and you break something? And then instead of cleaning it up or apologizing or whatever you hide the evidence so you won’t get in trouble? But what actually happens is you dig yourself into an even deeper hole because it’s lies on top of lies? This is basically what happens to Armand 24/7, 365. There’s no grand master plan. He genuinely feels like he’s constantly backed into a corner he’s trying to get out of. Of course, he’s never actually backed into a corner, but that’s how it feels to him, emotionally. So he’s always digging himself deeper and then occasionally, by sheer luck, something or someone pulls him out, and he’s like, well, I suppose this is my life now. He never makes any real decisions. He lets things happen and those things carry him places.
“you’re so going down!”
eric’s voice echoed throughout his family’s house. he stared at alex with wild eyes, observing how the brown haired boy breathed heavily and bent down to put his hands on his knees.
the two had been playing just dance for about an hour. eric’s parents had gotten the game for his younger siblings to enjoy on the wii, but it seemed that eric used it more. he picked the worst songs, pop ones that repeated the same three words over and over again.
“dude, you’re fucking evil,” alex said in between sighs. “how much do you practice this damn game when i’m not here?”
eric didn’t want to admit that he constantly challenged his siblings to play against him. he also didn’t want to admit that he often lost. the only person he’d ever won against was alex, plus his mom on the day they bought the game.
instead of answering alex, eric started flicking through the dances, finding his favorite one. it was one of the harder ones, rated four stars of difficulty instead of the regular one or two.
as the music began blaring, alex had to fight the urge to throw his remote at eric’s head. he hadn’t had dancing on his agenda for today, especially not dancing in his best friend’s living room where his parents can walk through and see them.
before he joined eric in dancing once more, eric screamed at him.
“dude! hurry the fuck up. you’re missing so many points!”
alex whacked the back of eric’s neck with his palm before lazily dancing to the rest of the song. he made a mental promise to stop playing after this song even if he had to fight eric to do so.
was listening to bug like an angel in my headphones at the car while SHAPE OF YOU was playing in the radio
