i have a theory that the cool ass names are what make them more appealing to those people who simp over them, fictional or not

human beings tend to love it when things are aesthetic, and can go to extreme lengths to change something to suit their preferred aesthetic

the names emanate an aura of mystery and just plain awesomeness that is very appealing to many people

its this attractiveness to aesthetics, and the aura surrounding the names that combine to create a more appealing figure than if Ghostface was called "Casper with a knife bigger than his manhood"

thats just weird and awkward, who tf in their right mind would like a guy named that, who goes around killing people?
