angst, vore mention, vore scare, ¿abuse?, treating a person as an animal, vimioting, blood, curse words
--------------------------------------
When Jake began to regain consciousness, everything was different than before. His back and chest hurt terribly, he was also lying on something cold and hard, like... metal? He felt dizzy and had a hard time opening his eyes. He also had a bit of a gag reflex and the taste of blood in his mouth. Despite his sincere intentions, he was unable to sit down and see what was happening around him. He also heard ringing in his ears, but after a while the noise stopped and what he heard was... unusual. Someone was humming a tune. He recognized it, but couldn't remember where from. The voice seemed familiar to him too. He tried hard to open his eyes again. His vision was shrouded in black and blurred images showed through. How did this happen? How did he get there, wherever he was? He remembered that he was in the forest and... His headache blurred his vision of previous events. And the pain in his chest was becoming more and more unbearable. He felt like he was about to vomit his lungs and his entire arteriovenous system at once.
A sigh.
The borrower heard a sigh that sounded awfully familiar. Just like his - former - friend Lucas. Lucas. OH FUCK. Jake suddenly remembered what happened in the forest. He remembered meeting Lucas there. He remembered how Lucas had gone crazy, what he had said about "coming home", how he had shouted at him, how he had invaded his personal space, how he had grabbed him and... That was why Jake's chest was hurting so badly right now. Lucas squeezed him in his hands. He wanted to kill him. Lucas wanted to kill Jake. He turned into a monster. Jake had to get out of there, Lucas was near, he was going to kill him-
"Oh Jake, you're awake" Lucas' voice rang in the borrower's ears. It wasn't hard to hear the human's colossal footsteps. His voice was cold, showed no emotion, was different than usual. Jake tried to open his eyes, but his eyesight was still in poor condition. He could see only hazy shadows in front of him. Despite this, he rose to a standing position but quickly fell back down. He saw blurry shadows and colors moving in front of him - he knew it was Lucas. Jake's mouth filled with blood again and his vision slowly began to clear. He vomited in front of himself and it was almost all red, from what he could see, all blood.
“Oh, Jake… You look so pitiful when you're throwing up blood. I almost feel sorry for you" Lucas's voice mimicked to be concerned at first, but the sentence ended with a cold laugh. "I waited a long time before you woke up. A very long time. I thought you were dying or something. You scared me."
The borrower's vision finally cleared and what he saw made him wish he would still not be able to see. Or maybe even wish that he would have died in this forest.
Cage. He was in a cage.
Jake was in a small cage on Lucas' desk in his room. The cage was metal and impossible to open from the inside, let alone by someone as small as him. How was this possible? Did Lucas put him in a cage? Has he lost all his mind? The boy's body began to tremble more intensely, the vomiting reflex returned, and tears came to his eyes. He was terrified, devastated and furious. But mostly terrified. He wanted to look at Lucas, see what happened, believe it wasn't him at all, but he couldn't. He knew it was Lucas, but he wanted to hold on to a slender hope, he wanted to delude himself that it wasn't true.
"You know... I would feel stupid, even a little sad, if I killed you in that forest" the human voice sounded rough, but on some level also mocking and satirical "If you died there, you wouldn't see what I have prepared for you."
Jake lifted his head slightly and blood continued to drip from his mouth down his chin to the cages floor. His fear began to turn into anger, moreover rage. What right did someone who promised him support, care and safety in every situation have to now behave so recklessly? So terribly? So psychopathic? God only knew what possessed him, but whatever it was, it came from the deepest pits of hell.
"You have prepared something for me? Wow. First a broken rib and a kidnapping, and now another surprise? What a happy day for gifts from such monster." Jake's angry gaze finally reached the human, but he didn't seem bothered it. Besides, the words the borrower spoke didn't sound half as harsh as they were supposed to, because they were spoken by a creature the size of a mouse, locked in a cage, unable to stand on its own feet and spitting blood. Jake was pathetic at best.
"Are you that impatient to know what I'm going to do with you?" Lucas raised an eyebrow.
"It'd be nice to know what you're planning."
"Too bad. I haven't made a final decision yet. Fortunately, you're awake now and giving me more and more great ideas."
"What, are you going to lock me in this cage for the rest of my life and turn me into your little pet?" Jake spat blood "Or are you going to have bipolar disorder again and apologize and say you care about me?"
"You have very optimistic visions" Lucas smiled terrifyingly with teeth "Did you believe that I was really nice? Ha, you are even stupider than I thought. It was a farce, pretending so i could get you. Now you have no chance against me, I can take revenge for how you lied to me and left me. I can show you what the human you wanted so badly to pretend can do to a nothing like you."
Jake's eyes were filled with tears again, but he tried to suppress them.
"So that's how it must be. You were supposed to be a friend, but you turned out to be a monster. A wolf in sheep's clothing".
"You were supposed to be a friend, a human, but you turned out to be an edible animal. Who is really a wolf in sheep’s clothing here?" Lucas' words made Jake unable to hold back his tears anymore and he started shaking harder. The emphasis on the word 'edible' was obvious, and Jake knew it was a warning, maybe even a threat.
"Don't start this whole game of crying and begging for mercy. We both know you're below me in the food chain. You wanted to play "human", so now please, bear the consequences like a human. Maybe you want to fight? Settle it like men, like humans? But I can't promise that I won't crush you into flat with one move." Lucas spoke with a cold smile etched on his large face, looking at the tearful, shaking, terrified Jake with his ice-cold gaze.
Jake looked away from the giant, so as not to show how pathetically terrified he was of what was happening. His voice was shaking too much to speak and his body was hurting too much for him to think about how to get out of this hellish situation. For a moment he even wondered whether such a death would not be the best - quick, very painful, but quick. It was definitely better than what was supposed to happen.
"I even feel a kinda sorry for you" Lucas admitted "Nature hasn't equipped your species with a brain and survival instinct good enough to see through manipulation. But I must admit, you impressed me. When you pretended to be human, I was fooled. Too bad you didn't know back then how it would have ended for you, little creature."
Jake's heart began to beat much faster, his thoughts overwhelmed him, blood rushed to his mouth again, his entire body trembled with fear, and tears flowed mercilessly. The anger died in him. Every emotion but one died in him. He was completely consumed with fear.
Lucas rolled his eyes. "Enough of this talk, it's boring".
The man opened the cage door and before Jake knew it, his hand reached out to grab him. The borrower backed out at the last minute. However, it did not help him much, because despite his great effort to avoid the hand of his former friend aka the monster in front of him, he failed to repeat it and saved his life only for a few more seconds. The hellish pain in his chest cut off his ability to escape, and Lucas grabbed him the second time and took him out of the cage without much effort. Jake struggled, trying to get out of the grip he was in. His heart was beating much too fast and too loud. His breathing was restricted. The pressure on his already damaged chest was piercing him completely and crushing him from the inside. He didn't want to die just yet.
However, the threat of death was not the worst. Jake always believed there had to be something after death, so maybe it wasn't the worst. And even if there was nothing there, it would mean that death would end his suffering and that was comforting in a way. What was much worse was that Lucas could have had every terrible way in the world to kill him. But even that wasn't the worst, no.
The worst thing would be that even though Lucas would kill him, he would still love him. He would still be his brother. In his heart, Lucas would still be the most important person to him.
"Remember when we talked about borrowers?" Lucas smirked and brought the hand that Jake was in closer to himself. Jake gulped.
"Remember how I talked about meals made of borrowers?" his devilish smirk grew "Remember how I said I would eat one while it was still alive? How I would swallow it while it was still alive just to feel it dying in my stomach?".
"I'm b-begging y-you Lucas" Jake sobbed between heavy breaths and tears "Spare m-me".
"Nah, i don't think i will, lil' creature" the human smiled with his sharp teeth, looking down at the scared being in his hands.
Before Jake knew it, the hand he was in moved closer to Lucas' mouth. The human licked his lips.
"Any last words, lil' creature?" Lucas laughed.
Jake began to fall into the large monster's mouth. In the last seconds before colliding with the giant fangs of death, he shouted: "Lucas, please don't! Please Lucas!"
"HEY"
Jake looked around himself. He was sitting on Lucas' bed, the boy was sitting next to him, they were both human sized, and Lucas looked terrified.
"W-what's g-going on h-here?!" Jake shouted in horror, looking around and then directly at the human.
"Calm down, dude, you were only daydreaming for a moment and you scared me" said the boy, showing his friend to breathe.
"W-what..?"
"Well, we were playing video games and you won, remember? Then you suggested we have a conversation, you wanted to talk about something. I was waiting for you to say what it was all about, but you started daydreaming, sat quietly and thought about something and didn't react to me at all for a good 15 minutes, until tears just started falling down your cheeks. That's why I raised my voice, I'm sorry, but you scared me" Lucas tried to explain the situation.
Jake's eyes widened and he rubbed his eyes, wiping away the tears "Sorry, I was a little lost in thought, I didn't want to scare you Lucas, you're my best friend."
Lucas smiled widely, "You're my best best friend too."
"So what did you want to talk about Jake?"

------------------------
The world was not normal anymore. Everything started 15 years ago afer a yet another global pandemic. Some have passed away, some barely had any changes due to the illness but 1/14 of the population between 1 and 21 became really infected.
You see, it was not a typical disease. Sure, for some it was like a cold but those unfortunate young people who had the right genetic basis for the mutation of the disease were practically cursed. The mutation caused those sick people - depending on a person - either to shrink up to 3-4 inches or grow up to even 60 feet tall.
It took the doctors a few months to find medication to help control the sudden changes of size, but the illness was proven to be incurable. Medication could only help control the size changes slightly better but couldn't fully stop it.
Present time
In this crazy world there was only one thing that wasn't crazy.
"Hunter!" Nate yelled while chasing his best friend. The young boys were friends since they were 8 so now it was a decade of friendship. Their relationship was the only normal thing in the world: no lies, no envy just pure platonic love and..
"Give me back my phone, you psycho!"
Pranks.
"I'm gonna text her" Hunter laughed after unlocking his best friends phone "I'm finally gonna tell Evie that you have a crush on her!"
In a world full of the so called 'size shifters' (they could just call them weriedos in Nates opinion), so basically giants and tinies, having a friend like Hunter was a blessing. Well, at last Nate though that. Hunter didn't have too many friends becouse he wasn't very out going and could come off as cold sometimes but he was surely the sweetest, gentleman ever. Nate on the other hand was the most troublesome kid all middle and high school. He would always ruin something, say something rude to a teacher, skip classes, fail exams..
At last Hunter cared about him. And Nate cared about Hunter as well.
You could practically call them brothers at that point. 10 years of friendship? That sounds like 'forever' is ahead of them. Well.. it was.
This unfortunate day Nate has gotten a 'brilliant' idea: surprise (and scare) Hunter by coming out of his closet (no double meanings) as he returns home from soccer practice.
Everything was going well. Hunters mom bought the lie that Nate was supposed to wait for Hunter in his room and she left the house. Nate didn't have too much time before he heard Hunter opening the front door. He quickly jumped into the closet and closed the door, leaving just a tiny gap, so he could see what was happening on the outside.
The closet was dark, full of clothes and other stuff all around. Those things were nothing special: t-shirts, pants, caps, headphones, medication.. Wait, hold on.
Medication?
"Why does he have pills in there?" Nate though, grabbing the bottle. His mind raced with thoughts. It was too dark for him to figure out what kind of medicine was in the bottle. It was weried. Hunter wasn't sick. Well, at last Nate didn't know anything about that. He didn't have allergies, he didn't have asthma, never even needed pain killers...
"What if those are like drugs?" Nates heart skipped a beat. It would explain why Hunter wouldn't tell him. Maybe he was ashamed that he was an addict?
No, drugs didn't make any sense. Hunter wouldn't have done that. That's something pretty much impossible to happen.
"Maybe he is sick and doesn't wanna tell me because it's terminal"
Now Nate felt like he was going to puke. What if this was something serious? What if Hunter would-?
Just as he was about to create next 2000 scenarios, Hunter entered the room.
"Crap" Nate gasped "I forgot about the prank!"
He wasn't in the mood for pranks anymore. He was supposed to scare Hunter but..
As Hunter sat on his bed, he called Nate out.
"I can see you, dumbass, you know?"
Nate signed and then slowly opened the closets door and stepped out. His best friend didn't seem very surprised.
"You idio-" The boy began to speak, but stoped mid sentence as he saw what was in his friends hands. He got pale. He became completely paralyzed. He was..
Scared?
Nate didn't understand his expression. Surely, he couldn't have scared him. Hunter saw him. He wasn't as sly as normally. So why would he react this way?
He then looked carefully at his best friends expression. Hunters eyes flickered between Nates face and.. the bottle in his hand.
How could he have forgotten about that?
He looked down into his hand. Finally the light hit the white bottle with few simple blue words written on it.
Remedium Gigantismus.
"Heck of a weried name for a pill" Nate thought before he saw the smaller, English words.
A pill to help control morphing into a giant.
His eyes widden and he gasped.
Gigantismus. That means..
"A giant.." he mumbled under his breath. How was it possible he didn't realize earlier? He looked back at Hunter with wide, confused eyes.
Hunter stared at him looking almost terrified.
"Nate.." Hunters voice was a little shaky and he acted with a lot of caution "Let me-"
"Why the hell do you have those pills?" Nate spoke defensively. It felt surreal. Hunter never behaved like that. He never kept secrets. He most surely wouldn't be a fucking monster.
"Bro, I'm sorry, I should have told you sooner" the other boys brown eyes flickered with shame. He took a step into Nates direction but the shorter, blue-eyed one took a step back. Hunter was visibly shocked and hurt by that.
"What..? What the hell do you mean?" Nate still couldn't get that thought into his head. There had to be a different explanation. Hunter was not a freaking beast. He wasn't a man-eater. He wasn't one of those crazy giants that morph into their true size in the middle of a city to crush buildings, murder people and traumatize thoese who remain alive. Hunter wasn't like the one that did that to Nate.
"Nate, I really wanted to tell you. But after the accident in the gallery..." Right.
It all happened 4 years ago. Nate was in an art gallery with his so called girlfriend. She was his first crush. It was a great experience untill.. Unexpectedly one boy, barely older than them morphed into a giant. He crushed the building completely, walls fell down, floors broke into parts, the rooftop fell on top of many people, crushing them. The beast - the giant looked down at all those humans. He had an evil grin and the demonic stare that Nate still had nightmares of. The giant grabbed people like they were toys, bugs, pests even. He didn't hesitate to murder and eat all humans that he could reach. Hell, he even ate the girl that went out with Nate. Nate would forever remember those giant hands, the beasts stare, the blood flowing down his mouth and hands. Nate only survived because he was under a pile of fallen materials and wasn't visible to the monster. Even though he didn't die, he could still hear the delight in the beasts voice as he enjoyed the consumption of people, which made Nate feel dead inside. After the "accident", as everyone else refered to it, he became suicidal, had nightmares about giants almost every night but most importantly began to hate giants with all his heart. Hell, not only giants. All of those freaking weriedos that change their sizes. His therapist couldn't help him. Noone really could. The accident ruined him mentally and that could not be repaired. But Hunter was by his side after that terrifying, traumatizing experience. He was the only one who understood how much Nate hated thoese freaking monsterous giants and was the only one accepting the fact without telling him that "one situation doesn't define the whole species" or other shit people told him. They were murderers. Giants were murderers. Nothing more.
But now.. even Hunter wasn't on his side.
"Tell me it's not what I think it is" Nate almost begged at this point. He was so angry, so confused and so unbelievably terrified "Tell me you're not a monster!!"
Hunters eyes became glossy, his voice was shaky, he didn't want to lose his best friend "Nate, please.. I got infected 6 years ago. I didn't tell anyone but my parents and doctors. I wanted to.. I wanted to tell you but my parents told me it was a bad idea. And later the accident happened.. I didn't want you to hate me. I didn't want you to hear me" he tried to explain as he was slowly breaking down.
Nate felt his heart beat faster, his breath quickened, his hands trembled as he held the bottle firmly, his mind was filled with thoughts, he couldn't control the growing rage.
"Are you a fucking giant?!" Nate yelled at Hunter, visibly furious and panicked, somehow at the same time. He felt like he was going to puke. His head hurt. And his heart? It stung so freaking bad that he thought he was going to have a heart attack.
Hunter stood there, quiet for a secound before nodding. He looked ashamed. Hurt even. He knew he shouldn't have kept this a secret but let's be honest, if he told Nate would they continue being friends? Obviously no. Hunter just didn't want to lose him. He couldn't even bare the thought..
They both kept quiet for a few seconds, the first thing to break the silence was the sound of the bottle falling down onto the floor.
"How could you..?" The blue-eyed began to speak.
"Nate, please, it doesn't have to change anything-" Hunter spoke even though he didn't believe those words himself. His heart was pounding like crazy. He took two more steps into his best friends direction.
"Get away from me you monster!!" Nate snapped as he took a few steps back, visibly frighten by Hunter.
They have been friends for a freaking decade and now Nate was terrified of him.
Hunter broke down. Tears began to fall down his cheeks. He wasn't a monster.
"Please don't call me that" he whispered as he began to sob and cry louder. Just a secound later he ran off the room and out of the house leaving Nate all alone.
The boy collapsed onto the floor, sitting there stunned, shocked and scared. He couldn't understand the situation. It was unbelievable. How didn't he notice? Was Hunter faking their friendship? Would Hunter hurt him?
No, of course not. That was Hunter. His Hunter.
Nate stood back up and took a deep breath. He tried to regain his composure. His body was reacting before his mind was. He knew, deep down, that even if Hunter was a giant, he would never ever hurt him, but the trauma made him react on instinct, without thinking straight. As soon as Hunter was out of sight it was easy for Nate to feel calmer and regain his thoughts.
"How could I have been so cruel to call him a monster? I fucking made him cry" he thought as he stood up. When the fear began to fade away he realized what he had done. His behavior was unforgivable. Hunter was right about not telling him - Nate didn't take that information well. Hunter had every right to keep this to himself for the sake of their friendship.
"I have to fix this" Nate though as he realised he wouldn't loose his best friend like that. Not becouse he called him names. Not becouse of a sickness. Maybe the could find a way to make it work? He would sure as hell try, becouse Hunter was the most important person in his life.
Being truthful Nate doubted that they could still be best buddies. He wouldn't- couldn't be friends with a giant. But he also couldn't think about it now. It wasn't just a giant, it was Hunter. He needed to find him and apologize to him.
He ran after him, trying to find a direction he suspected the boy would choose. He knew his favorite forest spots and that's exactly where he went.
After almost 40 minutes of looking for Hunter, Nate has found him. He was sitting on a tree branch, sobbing. Nate approached him, fear growing back in his body as well as tention, but he wouldn't give up so easily.
"Hey man.." Nate began to speak. The sudden sound must have startled Hunter because he fell down as he turned around to see who was speaking.
Before he could say anything the earth began to shake and he began to grow.
Nate soon remember what he had learned in health class - strong feelings might cause a size-shifter to morph uncontrollably.
Nate looked up with wide eyes as his best friend was transformed into a 60ish foot tall giant beast.
"N-Nate..?" Hunter mumbled uncertainty as he realised he had grown, looking at his now tiny best friend.
Nope.
Nate turned around and began to run as fast as he could. He wouldn't be cought by a giant.
"Wait, Nate, please!!"

! WARNING !
Fear of giants, angst?,, broken trust, unintentional fearplay, panic, curse words, a character being religious
First part:
-------------------------------
"Wait! Nate please-" Hunter yelled out as his friend began to run in the opposite direction from him. His speed was unusual, much faster than it would be normally. He moved rather chaotically, as a scared kitten does when man appear.
It wasn't even surprising that Hunter didn't have to try hard to close the distance between himself and Nate. One step and their distance was maximally minimalized.
Nate was startled at that realization. His body moved against his will, cold sweat flowed his body, eyes as wide as they never were, skin turning pale. It was so easy for Hunter to get to him. It was so easy for him to just grab him. To hurt him. To kill him.
This whole situation could have been well handled if it was only the human who was panicking. Sadly, in this case it was not only the smaller being being terrified. Nate was just as scared as..
The giant.
Hunter mumbled certain words, not really making any sense. He was closer to Nate bit his movements were just as chaotic and unnatural as Nates.
His body was trembling, the marks revealed that he just stopped crying but his eyes seem as if he was about to burst into tears once again.
As he put down his enourmous feet just a few feet (human ones) behind Nate the humans world collapsedm
Literally.
The human lost his balance and landed on his knees as the ground beneath him shook. His breath quickened, eyes became foggy from tears building in them, his heart raced just as his mind did.
He quickly tried to stand back up but was meet with his best friends shaky voice.
"Nate- Please calm down -" the giant spoke in his uneven speech, trying to calm down the situation between the two boys. Nate turned around only to face a gigantic face, many, many feet above him.
His legs became unsteady. His eyes were wide with terror. He took a small step back and as soon as he did he began running again.
This time though there was no way out.
The giant rushed his enourmous hands down. He kneeled and in less than a secound his freaking as-big-as-a-damn-house palms stopped Nates escape route.
"Nate, freaking hell just listen to me for a minute!" Hunter yelled out. It wasn't supposed to sound this angrily or harshly, he just didn't know what to do. He knew his words were useless but he needed to get his friend to listen to him. He thought he had lost him forever but the boy followed him to the forest so maybe there was a way to make their friendship last..
Well, anything Hunter thought was against the truth. I mean, he had a tiny tiny man, terrified of him, trapped between his palms. If Nate wanted to do anything with him after finding out the secret it was all long gone by now.
The sudden yell that Hunter made, made Nate stop in his trucks. He stood there, unmoving, only his shaking body making any movement whatsoever.
"Nate for Gods sake, please just stop running and listen to me" Hunter signed as he looked down at his friend. It was just now as he realized how terrified the human must have been. His eyes slightly soften and he looked down with pity and shame.
"Damn, Nate.." he whispered, moving his hand away slightly "I didn't mean to scare you, please don't freak out"
Nate looked up at his giant, his face still full of disbelief and fear, yet somehow.. empty. He looked drained. Like he lost all emotion, all energy, all his stupid positivity.
He just kinda stared.
His face showed fear, so did his body, but his eyes revealed dissapointment. Furthermore, they revealed a heartless expression.
Hunter knew thoese eyes. He saw them in so many peoples expressions. He saw Nate looking like that at others. He knew what those eyes said:
I lost trust in you.
Hunters eyes became foggy and blurry. Tears began to built in them. He kept this a secret so this wouldn't have happened! Why the fuck did it happen?!
Hunter moved his hands back, giving Nate plenty of space. He totally expected the boy to start running again but he just stared. It was even worse if we're being honest.
Nates heart raced but it wasn't half as fast as his thoughts. What stopped all of that was his eyes going black. He blinked bit it didn't dissapear. His body felt heavy. This situation was overwhelming. He wanted all that gripped him to the reality gone. Because all that held him there was just.. the thought that Hunter had lied to him.
Before he could process what was happening he fell down, feeling his body touch the harsh ground. He lost all his strength in a second. He fainted? But he was still partially counciois.
Well, at last for a few more secounds.
The harsh ground was replaced with warm, soft, enourmous hands of the giant. The last thing he heard before totally going blank was Hunters yelling.
"Hang on du-.. ! I'll ge-.... -lp...!"

Thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed it! Sorry that this part is short but it leads to the final part!

Tug a war between giant and tinies!
I for sure believe the tinies got this in the bag >w>
Such a fun and cute scenario >w<
What if...
James was a size shifter, became friends with human Oliver, and then accidentally grew right in front of him at one point.
Little did James know, Oliver already found out he was a size shifter and doesn't mind in the slightest.

The gift. 1/2
Today was Daisy’s coming of age ceremony. The most important day of her life. This was the moment she would have to pick her future husband to rule alongside her. As queen and king. Of course, every potential suitor had to bring a gift of great value, some would say only the most priceless gifts were good enough for her hand, she was a favorite among many, including the people.
Daisy, on the other hand, wasn't the biggest fan of all this attention. Not only were the gifts often something of over-extraordinary value, some even going so far as to give away one or more of their countries most priceless relics, which put a tremendous amount of pressure on her shoulders. But the princes, princesses, and noble were rather stuck up.
The ceremony came to an abrupt halt when the gates swung wide open. Large fortified towers came in with chains pulling something with them. The very sight of this being caused a mass panic amongst the crowd and had many fleeing the scene. Including the same nobles who claimed that they never would back down a fight and would stand by Daisy's.
Daisy found herself frozen in place, unable to get her legs to move she felt the warm sun get eclipsed by a looming shadow. She felt an unpleasant chill despite it being the middle of summer. She looked up to where her eyes met another's. A giant.

Who would bring something so dangerous here? Who in their right minds would bring such a threat to the kingdom? Was this a threat? A sign of war?
Eventually, a squire approached, taking a deep bow. "Your majesty, may I have a word with you?" They spoke with upmost respect. But they had a shiver in their voice.
"You... may." she answered carefully, unable to break eye contact with the giant. "You have some explaining to do, actually... what is this?" She spoke in almost a whisper once the squire got close enough.
"My apologies, your majesty, there's no ill will here. This is a proposal to you, or rather, it was... you see, our lord wanted to go above and beyond. He wanted to prove his might and devotion to you..." they whisper in return.
"Was..? What happened to your lord? Where is he?" Daisy began to feel sweat run down her skin, the squires' uneasy posture and shaky voice, along with the absence of his lord, was very unsettling.
"Deceased your majesty... his dying wish was to have the gift delivered to you." The squire briefly looked up at the giant before focusing on the princess. Her rosy cheeks had turned pale along with the rest of her face. She looked like she could pass out at any moment.
"I see... thank you." she turned to her guards. "Take him to our dungeon. And have the ceremony end." And just like that. It did. Daisy was beyond consoling. All this pressure and planning had been cut short, a lot of effort had gone into this big day, and all her maids and servants had worked tirelessly to make everything as grand as possible. That wasn't even considering all her guests who came all this way to see her and intended to stay for several days. Unfortunately, Daisy just couldn't bring herself the ceremony with such a big issue underneath her feet.
She made her way down to the darkest dungeons, where they'd usually have all kinds of unforgivable criminals and monsters, that's the only place this new gift of hers would both fit and cause the least amount of problems.
She still had a hard time believing that this thing was right under her castle. And yet here it sat before her, she remembered it's eyes, those tired eyes... there was no doubt that had seen some unspeakable acts of man and more. The fighting arena was a place for those who had no care for blood on their money, the princess had mistakenly once accepted an invite to the holiday place. It'd the very reason why they were banned from her small kingdom despite the huge amounts of money it received.
