The ballad of Hamreader
Monster Cod x Hamantha reader

Y/n of course means your name and l/n means last name for those who don’t know.

Life’s extension lottery, kind to some but not to thee
Born with a rare and sad disease, she grew a ham where her head should be.
Y/n “Ham/n” (basically your name fused with ham, or you could make up a different call sign) l/n was a simple man/woman/person who would help her/his/their loved ones in anyway that they/she/he can. Y/n knew that they/she/he was a odd sight to see, a ham where her/his/their head should be is something no one really sees or experiences before. But then again in this world of monsters,hybrids, and humans she/they/he is just another one living on god’s green earth.

Her dream was to be a famous star!
But at the rate she was going; she wasn’t going fa-a-ar
Y/n wanted to be a war hero like her/his/ their grandpa was, to save the innocent lives in the rubble and to take care of them.

They always felt eyes on them wherever they go.

She befriended her crew, he made many friends, for example roach. They made him a pink beaded bracelet with both his name and call sign on it, it also had silver roach charms on it.
Sometimes her and ghost would throw rocks as a game to relieve stress, sometimes they would make little goals to set so they could aim for it.

And as he shot at the clouds, it began to rain
Y/n, was taking a break from training in the rain, sitting by a place to be covered from the rain, just reminiscing.

Y/n hummed to himself a tune, they heard footsteps approaching her. He looks to see a medic “Excuse me, the doctor wanted me to come get you. You see the doctor believed he found a cure and with the permission of the higher ups and of course you, he would like to try it on you.”
Got a call from the doctor
He had some amazing news for her
He just developed a cure
If she hurried over now, he'd try it out on her
As soon as they heard this he rans to the medical wing, the medic trying to catch up to him. Her happy tears streamed as excitement only extended his stamina.
Burst out the door, she was beaming
Among the raindrops her happy tears were streaming
Finally freed from her pain
But something else fell with the rain
Y/n then felt a sharp pain in her head, something pierced through his scull. The last thing y/n saw was the wet grass on the ground with some of their blood painted on it and heard the scream of the medic and felt the continuing cold rain drops.
She fell to the the sidewalk, now empty
Of the life which once christened her body
Ghost was outside in the ran, he stubbed his toe on a rock which caused him to curse and throw the rock away with pain and anger. He then heard a loud thud and a scream which he immediately ran to it.
He found you on the ground bleeding out and immediately helped the medic carry you in. As he carried you in he saw it, a glimpse of the sharp rock he threw. . .
He couldn’t believe it he hurt you, he hurt his friend, teammate, and the man/woman/ person he loved, the person he wanted to spend his life with.

The doc said "time to eat!"

So much happened that day, an accidental murder, a doctor who was charged and sentenced to jail for eating his patient. Ghost never forgave himself even if it’s an accident and the Team members comforted him and told him it was an accident. You were a hero to civilizans, a friend to all, and a lover and partner to ghost. A statue was built in your memory. They all pray to your statue before leaving on a mission. Sometimes Ghost would sit next to it and eat his MRE there.
