Something requested a while ago. I try to explain how I usually draw hamster’s and other critters expression. I thought my works aren’t particularly varied in mood/expressions, and I definitely need to learn more.
Please note it’s based on my style of drawing hamsters, which isn’t quite realistic nor cartoon. So it’s not really complete and not always applicable to everyone’s style. Though I hope sharing my perspectives could help somehow.
My advice is to be brave and experiment with different expressions and find out what works for you. Edited to change the file to smaller segments. Forgot that tumblr resize long pics.

Yes, this hamster is so super chill about everything, it’s incredible! We poked her multiple times already, but she doesn't care at all about it!
(On the other hand though, she doesn’t know anything to do with herself if we’re not around, therefore she sleeps a lot. I mean, she’s not even digging!)
Pictures and drawings of your little princess Tia is what gives me life, she is just the cutest little hammy ever.

I’m happy that Tia is such a cool hamster, I’ve never had one that was this tame for day 1! Also I put a little milk can in her cage and now she’s sleeping in it all her time because it’s perfectly hamster sized.
She loves that thing! Look how calm she is!!

Attack on Littlecd with Little Bee, @bubsy3d with Azzy the space hamster and VinnyBooHoo with Barbie the sky sheep. Little Bee hasn't seen a weird flower like that before. Or is it even a flower? So many colors, but are they flowers?
