Here we go! I'm planning a render for this in the future, but I did in fact get the armor and autocannon all done for Civ! It'll probably be one of the first things of Civ that I 3d print!

This Helldivers armor project is really just a self-service to homage a game that's become really important to me. I don't play a ton of games nowadays, but on most weekends I meet with a friend and we play Helldivers 2. it's gotten a special place in my heart since it's let me reunite with an old, dear friend in a way we neglected for years.
Now I'll have a physical model to represent both this great game, a good friendship, and my fursona!
Have you ever thought about getting some of your renders 3d printed?
Yes actually! However, I haven't done a render that I feel would warrant being turned into a 3d print since it's kinda like trying to print the entire scene.
I have thought about posing and 3d printing the engineer outfit version. Alternatively, I'm currently working on a set of Helldivers 2 armor for Civ and that could look pretty cool 3d printed.
I DID IT.
There was a print error that made his armor break away a bit. I decided to make the best of it and give him the battle-damaged look.

Helldivers 2 Civ Mini
Decided to post this as a separate post since it got lost in a reblog chain a bit. I had recently had some armor fitted to Civ based on armor from Helldivers 2, since its the only game that I really play the few times I play games nowadays.
Someone suggested I 3D print some of my renders, so I have done exactly that!
Printed using a Saturn 2 with 8K resin, painted with acrylics and Citadel paints.
Funnily enough, due to some strange errors where the armor misprinted, it looked like the armor was cracked a bit. I decided to work it in as battle damage.
