Htf Au - Tumblr Posts

Okay so idk what possessed me when I was watching Monarch: Legacy of monsters but I decided to mix it with HTF for god knows why. Here’s some concept art+comics!

Here are some of the first sketches, I came up w/ Flaky first, and as I drew the others I came up with some backstory ideas. The first concept for these three is that they kind of took the place of General Shaw, Keiko and Billy(im like 63% sure that’s his name and I refuse to look it up) except they where around after Monarch. Sniffles was one of the head scientists at Monarch, and Flippy was sent to help him try to get close to what was believed to be a hive for M.U.T.O’s. Along the way they found Flaky who 1, no one knew existed, and 2, was very familiar with the M.U.T.O’s, so they decided to use them as their guide. However, none of them ever return from this trip, much to the dismay of their loved ones. Also I changed Nuttys role and how Flaky and Sniffles met. However I keep the first pictures because I think their cute.

Here are the more recent doodles, they’re more updated bc I drew them while watching the new episodes. Their just vague character designs that I’ll likely alter in the future.

Okay, now to describe the peoples placings. Petunia, Toothy and Cub are kind of like the main cast. Giggles, Cuddles, maybe Lumpy and Russel, Handy and probably Lammy are apart of Monarch, Pop, Sneaky, Ka-Boom and possibly Lifty are dead, Shifty, Mime, Nutty, and the others I can’t remember rn are like side helpers. Nutty being the most noteworthy to my mind rn. Tiger General would likely be kind of like a Hirose or Shaw figure, who seems like a bad guy at one point but is just trying to help.

I’m glad you guys listened to my rant and looked at the art, or one or another. I know I haven’t been posting a lot since school started again and I’m still a bit uncomfortable posting things other then HTF, and I’m planning on posting more today, so you’ll likely get more of these kind of ‘content blasts’. I’m going to try and make another panel of that comic in hopes I can post more content after a piece of that backstory stuff. Keep an eye out!

Since they got their ability, Giggles, Petunia, Flaky and Lammy keep abusing it. The next thing everyone know, the girls of Happy Tree Town are gone...

In my Genderbent AU, its a headcanon of mine that jealousy will make girl Cuddles eventually snap, turning her into a Yandere. She have to teach her boyfriend, Chuckles (just boy Giggles) the same lesson over and over: Don't Flirt With Other Girls.

I am currently working on an edit starring her. I am halfway through the process.

Toothy > Tiffy (tough, likes to fight, sharpens his teeth to look more intimidating, drags Idles outside for adventures)

Lumpy > Lucent (both antlers are upright, he deemed himself as the brightest of them all, hates mistakes, always over prepared, still dies even when prepared)

Petunia > Pungentia (trash is an aesthetic for her, her mess ends up killing others, she genuinely thinks she is beautiful with her "fashion")

Handy > Nimble (he was nimble until he lost his feet, a feet would be nice as a mail man)

Nutty > Natty (healthy living for the win, a promoter of fruits and vegetables, he keeps accompanying Sclutzy out of pity)

Sniffles > Sclutzy (antz is frients nat fud, was a genius but his sanity is now broken, enjoys destroying technology)

Pop > Top (he goes over the top on protecting Buc, wears a top hat, imposes too much rules and restrictions on Buc)

Cub > Buc (never died even once, actually curious on what dying feels like, was told to never go off without his father, dying for freedom)

Flaky > Ruby (she doesn't have flakes, fearless, adrenaline junkie, uses her quills as weapons when needed)

The Mole > The Watcher (his blue eyes get to shine, his beautiful eyes are just too distracting, some died because they were disracted by those ocean eyes)

Disco Bear> Discord Bear (extremely lacks confidence, bolts away at the sight of girl's shadow, dislikes disco since he can't dance)

Russell the Pirate > Rascal the Bandit (loves gold, hoards gold, will kill for anything that looks like gold)

Lifty > Wifty (loves giving, enjoys making stuffs from wood, doesn't see the value in gold and jewelry, too noisy to steal anything)

Shifty > Frankly (hates gambling, never lets his twin die, works honestly for money, wouldn't dare to enter the life of crime to survive, too full of conscience to steal anything)

Mime > Mike the Clown (he never talks but he's freaking loud, relies on visual gags and humiliation to entertain others, his noises may drive someone crazy)

Cro Marmot> Pro-Macro 2000 (a time traveller who's trapped in his time machine since it only runs on the specific electricity that they have in the future, every episode he'll try different type of morse codes to ask for help, the "help" he receives will lead to further sealment of his machine or death)

Flippy > Fiasco (Fiasco is a bloodthirsty executioner whose goal is to have the most kills each day. He is quick, ruthless, and loves the creativity in his kills. He avoids places containing wholesome stuffs since he will flip into his little alter, Freaky.)

Splendid > Insipid (wants to be villain but accidentally saves others, kryptonut boosts his powers)

Lammy > Luna (she thinks no one can see her, kills for entertainment, she blames the pickle and everyone believes her)

Mr. Pickles > Sir Prickly (tries to keep Luna from killing, fails to keep Luna from killing, an escapegoat, accepts the punishments so Luna wouldn't suffer)

Truffles > Trifled (he wants to be the center of everything, he'll make sure everyone notices him regardless of being alive or dead, the gags revolves around his ideas of stealing the spotlight)

Cursed Idol > Sacred Idol (You will not die as long as you have this, basically the totem of undying, however you will die in the most grotesque and horrible way the moment that you lost/let go of this)

Ah yeah, another thing that these stuffs have in common, besides having kill count, is that I also tried turning them into HTF characters and give them some back stories back in 2019.

I forgot that I haven't shared these yet here. Now here they are!

(Cursed Idol)

A prideful and apathetic royalty who takes pleasure from seeing others in agony, getting tortured, and killed. Once overthrown, she was sentenced to die by being covered in burning gold. Their soul is cursed to be trapped in the statue for maltreating others forever. However, their hatred for the others is so strong that they become a malevolent spirit. From then on, whenever someone is near them, they would die in the most gruesome ways.

This old fellow loves to share spooky tales with children stories. He also loves sharing the evil souls trapped in his pages. He was actually a good fellow. Poor thing that he was used for evil by many generations of witches and edgy teenageres T3T

(Kryptonut)

A sassy squirrel who loves mocking Splendid. He is good friends with Splendont and the Raccoon Twins. It's unpredictable if he would do something mundane or unleash chaos.

(Mittens shines in Tongue Twister Trouble)

Mittens is an adoptive sister of Giggles. She's sweet and silent. She can't feel pain so she doesn't understand why other's scream when the red stuff is coming out of their body. She loves collecting tongues because they're smooth and so pink. Her favorite is Sniffles' tongue. Mittens is always smiling despite of whatever's happening in her surroundings.

(Whistle)

A seemingly harmless puppo who is trained to kill everyone in sight anytime he heard a whistle. Perfect for mass genocides and espionage. Currently living in the Bears' residence and serves as Cub's roommate.

(Russel's piranhha)

An entertainer at Happy Tree Aquarium. Once his shift is done, he would remove his suit and go to his favorite meat shop. He knows that the "special meat" section is actually the old bodies of the Tree Friends. He would then go home and prepare some delicious meat stew that his roommate (Russel) really likes. Kinda silly to think that there's a time that Russel is eating the remnants of his old body.

(Mr. Pickles)

And last but not the least:

It's my headcanon that "Mr. Pickles" was actually once a normal Happy Tree Friend character. But he loves Lammy so much that he does a ritual to transfer his soul to a pickle. It is the only thing that Lammy talks after all.

My inspiration is 1988 film Child's Play, where serial killer Charles Lee Ray, aka Chucky uses a voodoo ritual inside a toy-store to transfer his soul into a Good Guys doll in an effort to escape from Detective.

Also, it is mainly because I want to say "He turned himself into a pickle" which is the funniest shit I've ever seen."

All of these have one thing in common...

Welp, except for the fact that they all come from the same show...

How's your Opposite AU going? I've seen in your post that you're having trouble with the designs so I just wanna share some ideas. When I see the description of Idles, I see a droopy-eared bun-bun whose default pose is laying still and staring blankly ahead. I think it would be funny if Tiffy would still be a dentist and his methods might look brutal but ending up giving best results. For Ruby, I imagined her to have very short quills and usually wearing a daring expression. Hope these helps!

So far, I have recovered a few of my old, amateur concept works in hand. They were at least 4 years old, drawn on an old, unrecoverable notebook, and the only proof they existed is a post I made in Amino.

Bruh Lumpy is now an anime protag

First change on the design: the hair. I don't think a smarter Lumpy will wear that kind of silly hair. I'll also remove the glasses and labcoat, he may be more clever but his job shouldn't be a scientist. I think it's much suitable for him to become a Professor that constantly scares his students with existential questions. Since I want him to be overprepared, I will change his demeanor from a cold, calculative guy to a kooky, restless and ingenious. He must have multiple, secret bunkers around the town just in case of apocalypse.

I have changed his name into Idles since Snuggles is already the name for Genderbent Cuddles. And I think I will draw him droopy eared all the time as you said!

There's already a goth au so this idea is completely scrapped off. Since Giggles' character is all about being a stereotypical girl, Gruntles would be a rebel who is disgusted by the idea of conforming. She will wear whatever she wants (meaning her accesroies will change everyday). I will keep her love for earth but she will show it in a different way. "Chop this tree then I'll chop your head off"

Did you know Ruby used to be a Fliqpy Sue???? Yeah, I'll have to change so many things. But now that you mentioned it, I guess I'll take away more of her quills away since she did use most of them for self-defense. I will change the hoodie since Idles already got one.

HTF - SIREN AU

BREAKING NEWS: Giggles, Petunia, Flaky and Lammy are still missing. It has been three weeks since their disappearance is reported to the police department. The rescue team started searching around the woods...

"But I'm telling you, I've seen them! They've become half fishes of some sort. They killed me last night, aren't my words enough of a proof?"

Cuddles exclaimed at Sniffles and Nutty. His fur may be dried now but he could still clearly remember the sensation of being dragged down the sea. The rabbit sighed as he reclined to his seat. "Look, I may sound like crazy but I need you two to believe me."

"I don't think you're crazy, but Sniffles really does!" Nutty said as he points to his best friend. Sniffles only rolls his eyes and puts the sugar-loving fellow's hand down. The anteater stands up on the table so his left paw could reach the bunny's shoulder.

"Listen, Cuddles. I know you've been staying up all night a lot since Giggles left. You are just grieving. Right now, you are at the phase of bargaining. But eventually, you will accept that she is gone and you can live your life without thinking of her..."

Silence reigned. Sniffles eyes focused on Cuddles' sad face. Out of nowhere, Nutty screamed.

"BUT WHAT IF THIS IS THE DOING OF THE SACRED PEARL!?!?"

Sniffles give Nutty a stern look. "Oh shut up about that, will ya? There's no way freaking pearl could mutate normal, sentient creatures like us. I already told you that's only an internet myth. Nothing more, nothing less."

Cuddles quickly turned towards Nutty, walking up to him with a face that spelt desperation. "Nutty, I'm gonna need you to be extra slow and detailed with me, what is this "Sacred Pearl"? And what would Giggles use it for, TELL ME!" He grabbed onto his shoulders and shaking him a bit. "Please! I need answers!"

"Nutty, what are you doing?" Sniffles says as he pinches the muscles between his eyes, trying to logic his way out of this stupid myth. "Don't give him false hope, Cuddles needs to accept that-"

He was about to say that the girls are just gone but the squirrel cuts him short. "Hush! Let the smart one do the talking."

Sniffles raised a finger to say a point, but seeing Cuddles' desperation, he can't help but let out a sigh of defeat.

"...fine. Go explain, I don't care. I'm just gonna go back to searching books...ALONE." Sniffles says with a huff and jumps down the table. Nutty giggles at what just happened.

"Pfft~ don't mind him. He's not really angry. Okie just sit down and lemme try to explain it to ya in a way ye can understand."

Nutty laughs, clapping his hands excitedly because he is finally the smart one. He clears his throat and starts talking in his narrator voice, which he copies from a videogame.

The girls did got their wishes... but they did not realize how much it really costs until it's too late...

Gaster would be Cro Marmot, and his face is kinda melty. I made one gasping reaction of his face.

Asgore would be Cuddles since he would be called King Fluffybuns.

For some reason, Catty and Bratty is Lifty and Shifty.

Muffet would be Lammy and her minions are stuff toys. Instead of facing a giant spider, you will meet Mr. Pickles.

Since Hapstablook is known as a happy ghost who brings good cheers with his hosting, I thought Nutty would fit as Mettaton but he'll bring good cheers by sharing his sweets. After everyone commented that Mettaton should have been Disco Bear because they both say "Oh yeah" and fabulously confident, I break down.

★ OCcentric AU

- My version of Happy Tree Town that includes my OCs in it. Here, everyone is aware how the place is cursed to have ridiculously high death rates in exchange for infinite respawn and is cool with it. It was established that there are three realms, being:

Mortal Realm ~ where the silly happy tree friends are designated, the setting revolves around THIS silly place

Infernal Realm ~ which is the place of origin for cryptids and supernatural (like the demon that possess Cub that one time); also place of origin for Reone and

Ethereal Realm ~ where beings beyond understanding lurks. Also, the place where unbound souls go when they die.

Despite of all the craziest stuff that occurred in that cursed place, everyone manages to stay sane, kind and friendly with each other.

★ Sirens AU

- a deleted Wattpad angsty HTFfic of mine. According to legends, there's a Black Pearl that will resurface to the land for every generation. It can grant the wishes of those who shed tears to the sea. However, the wisher is bound to protect the sea in the same amount of time they were benefited from the wish. One would think that it's a fair trade, this being the same thought process of four particular girls who take the aid of the Black Pearl.

Unfortunately, regrets only happen when it's fae too late. But then again, no one knew that being a 'protector of the sea' meant having your humanity erased and body morphed into something terrifying. The payment begins with yellow eyes that lack pupils... (ah yes, I could practically taste the inspo puffs from Madoka Magica-)

★ dOLLs AU

- Game Concept???

'Well, there was an orphan's asylum in the middle of a forest. It was exclusive and private for more than twenty children. A war suddenly started. The owner of the asylum don't want the children to die so he take their soul and put them into dolls. He then made a simulation and that's where he put the dolls. Now the show is what the dolls see. Bright, colorful and perfect. That explains why they were easy to "die". But thanks to the Fixer (the owner of the asylum) they could "revive" the next day.' <<< Extracted directly from my prev Amino account

- INVERSED PERSONALITIES HECCC YESSS (a deleted quotev work inspired by literally every fandom I was in ever where characters are their opposite selves)

Revolves around Cub who got teenage angst hoping for his life being different. Guess what, that's also his opposite self Buc is exactly hoping. With a silly invention, they switch places and experience culture shock from the dimensions they are in as they pretend to be each other.

I'm like a fanfic writer but deranged to a criminal degree. I only have these vague ideas in my head and concepts I share privately with peeps. I suddenly have these animatics that just foken came to me as a vision whenever I listen to music- which suddenly vanish as soon as they leave. Gaster would be Cro Marmot, and his face is kinda melty. I made one gasping reaction of his face.

Asgore would be Cuddles since he would be called King Fluffybuns.

Gerson would be The Mole.

For some reason, Catty and Bratty is Lifty and Shifty.

Since Hapstablook is known as a happy ghost who brings good cheers with his hosting, I thought Nutty would fit as Mettaton but he'll bring good cheers by sharing his sweets. After everyone commented that Mettaton should have been Disco Bear because they both say "Oh yeah" and fabulously confident, I break down.
