finally sharing my design for Olivia since I haven’t done that yet, I know nothing about robotics so this is probably a really ineffective way to build a robot.

half way through drawing this I realized it would be really cool if Olivia used rubber hose animation so I might re design her one day so it’s possible.

i started this like as soon as i saw the prompts list bc i knew i HAD to draw all of them. i think they’d have sleepovers/little spa days together often...rapunzel is drawing them too <3 i did not make anything else of this quality so sorry abt that um

from what I know, it’s a common-ish opinion to hc Hugo as genderfluid, although I see him more on the pangender side ((AKA the Varigo fandom rising up to challenge Varian’s bisexuality))

I also really like your closeted Hugo opinion, tho. Hugo’s whole thing is that he uses confidence to hide his insecurities, and adding a controlling and manipulative mentor to that is **chef’s kiss** I’d also really like to see the learning curve and maybe him developing beyond any learnt homophobia from Donella

like, him trying to deny himself of his trans-ness and — if he’s born male in your theory — maybe even trying to force himself out of his love for Varian or just trying to survive by going ”ok I need to fulfill my daily all you think about are girls quota because that’s what other men do, rIGHT??” Hugo maybe even trying out more masculine things than what he’s comfortable with and believing that eVeRyOnE struggles with it. or maybe he simply tells himself he’s insane and melodramatic for being so unsettled in first place

him being born a female would also be an interesting headcanon, if I got the right message from the post. all the theories you could whittle out: how would Hugo transition from his deadname to Hugo? would he go straight to ”I’m a trans man” or try out different genders until he finds what’s best for him? would he come out of the closet the second he gets out of Donella’s toxic grip or would he still have some internalised transphobia that makes him perpetually fear the idea of living how he yearns to?

Ok, trans Hugo AND Varian. Varian is very much out as a trans man by the time of vat7k and Hugo is closeted. Hugo was not taught about any of this stuff so donella could keep a tighter control on him and I will die on this hill.

Either way, Hugo finds out Varian is trans and quietly goes "you can do that?" So Varian helps him explore his identity and when Hugo ends up betraying don, he has a moment of asserting his gender and name before going off to find Varian. Please add on, I wanna talk with someone about this

Been thinking about Vat7k and I have decided that Varian doesn’t need a romance arc. He’s already got enough going on plotwise with finding the trials and meeting distant family members, so any more would just shove aside whatever Nuru and Yong would have going on.

However, Hugo should have that arc. Him tagging along on the quest and slowly letting himself truly feel again and tangling with all the stuff that goes along with making friends and falling in love while being a double agent? Dat’s the good shit right there.

Meanwhile Varian’s side of it is just, “hey, I’m on a self-discovery roadtrip, so come what may!”, so when maybe a month before the Library he realizes he’s got a crush, he doesn’t freak out or deny it, he’s just in his tent like

And he’s thinking “I’ve been through enough shit in my life, I deserve a simple little thing like this :)”, not realizing that Fate Itself is about to bash him on the head like Gallagher with a watermelon.

(he does start openly flirting with Hugo at this point, but due to a combo of being bad at it and Hugo internally freaking out bc of Everything Else, he doesn’t catch on to what he’s doing)

Are they really the villains though? In my au they take over Corona and then legalize abortion and so the kingdoms wealth to fund a universal healthcare program and shit like that. They're only the villains because apparently tts loves imperialist Frederic. It's more like a government that actually cares for it's people au.
