They had just set up base on some planet and he was making his rounds.

He checked on his men making sure they were okay after the last battle. He checked there supplies making sure they had enough and he made sure everything was in order. Before going to check in with the medbay.

He checked in with Kix who told him how many were injured and how many supplies he had before asking about the General.

"Rex, have you seen the General? He hasn't come by and gotten a check up."

"No I haven't. But you know the General, always avoiding medical.

"I'll keep a look out for him."

"Okay, thanks."

Kix walked away and started checking on his patient while he continued checking in.

He asked some of his men if they have seen the General but they haven't.

Tup however said that he saw the General walk toward the creek nearby.

He thanked him and started walking over there.

He started looking around before spotting him sitting against a tree. He walked over thinking his General was asleep.

But when he came closer he felt his heart stop. His General looked terrible. There were big bags under his eyes and he was super pale.

He looked like he was dying. Quickly walking over he felt for a pulse and panicked when it came out erratic.

He tried comming for help but there was only static.

He looked at his General before picking him up and carrying him to medical.

Injured

"Rex!"

Anakin called out to him while holding his stomach in pain.

"what's wrong Cyare?"

"hurts."

Rex walked into the room and saw Anakin laying on the floor, holding his stomach.

He rushed over feeling concerned.

"Cyare, are you okay?"

"It hurts."

He helped Anakin stand, but he started to fall.

"Ow it hurts."

Anakin was now crying and clutching his stomach.

"I'm going to take you to Kix."

He picked up his General and carried him to the medbay.

"Kix!"

Kix turned around and saw Rex running into the medbay with a crying General.

He instantly went into medic mode.

"put him over there."

He set Anakin onto the med cot and watched Kix start to examine the General.

Kix cursed and looked at patches.

Prep for surgery, the General has shrapnel in his stomach.

In a flurry of movements the medics were taking the General into another room and he could only watch.

Fives came up to him and grabbed his shoulder.

"He's going to be fine."

"I know."

He stared at the medbay doors even when he was sitting down. He stayed that way for hours. Waiting for the surgery to end.
