Danny didn't realize the sound of screaming was coming from him as he pounded at the wall where the Portal had just been. Blinded by the green tears in his eyes, he didn't notice the adults behind him till one of them grabbed at his shoulder.
Acting on instinct, Danny immediately slammed the figure against the wall, eyes constricted into slits, ready to slash at the GIW agent- only...

"W-who-...? Clockwork, Where... Where am I?" Danny asked, utterly confused and anxious as he stared at the man donned in all black before staring at his surroundings, tensing when he finally noticed the other beings.

It was during Danny's coronation when it happened. Just as the Crown of Fire transformed into his Crown of Borealis with the Ring of Rage changing to better suit and match him, the GIW had managed to tear a hole into the Infinite Realm through the broken portal of his parents. The worst part? The GIW had dared ruin his Haunt in the mortal realm by seizing the town under their control and imprisoning its residents. Including his family and friends.
By all means, Danny was ready to join the other ghosts to fight back the intruders/party crashers. Just as he was ready to take his stand, donned in royal regalia and all. Only... He heard Clockwork scream before he was pushed into a portal. The last thing Danny saw before the Portal closed was Clockwork falling forward, a gaping hole in his chest.
The GIW had finally managed to infiltrated the Ghost Zone and Danny was prepared to fight. Till his final bitter breath if he had to. No way where these white suited freaks about to march into his territory free of consequences. Unfortunately, Clockwork didn't seem to agree with him because before the first battle, his mentor flung him through a portal and into a room full of costumed strangers.

Danny would be so confused to be part of actually quite healthy, functional family, with enforced curfew and stuff but without "Fenton gets straight A's, unless it's your father, then it's B-" pressure, no house security at every inch, good fucking food, I mean, Flashfam, they have to have lots of good food (not reanimated and actually nutritious). Just good environment to flourish I think
Also, doesn't Barry work in science? Danny would go positively feral at Bring Your Kids To Work day I guess

Danny was seriously starting to doubt Desiree's work. He had wished that his parents would pay attention to him, not to have a whole new family.
The Justice League is stretched thin as random destructive beings start appearing all around the world. They're barely holding these beings back and the most they can do is evacuate citizens. Then at one of the locations, a mysterious teen appears. He doesn't say anything and calmly walks towards the monster. Multiple members try to stop him but all their hands go straight through him. Before they know it, the teen jumps into attack and defeats the creature in less than 5 minutes. He sucks it into a strange device before creating some type of portal and disappearing through it.
One by one, each location reports similar experiences until all the beings are taken care of. When the JLA is investigating who it was that helped them, they find an old mural depicting the teen. In the mural he is standing in a regal position, both hands resting on a sword and wearing armor and a crown. They also find an old incomplete transcription that goes along with the mural. It is in a language no one has seen before. The only word they manage to translate is King.
Cujo pulls Danny into a natural portal during one of their walks. It closes before he can get back through. He zips around the planet multiple times to try and find another but he can't. Danny stops midair and cries. He's stuck.
The Watchtower suddenly picks up something fast moving back and forth on Earth before it suddenly stops over a lake. When Superman is sent to investigate, he finds a sobbing teen being comforted by a green dog.
In the middle of a Justice League meeting, Batman feels a tug on his cape. He looks down to see a little boy who could easily pass as one of his.
"Erm," the boy starts. "I frew up."
Jason was sad. It took a lot of prodding to get the reason out of him but eventually, he opened up. Apparently his father figure hadn't avenged his death leading him to believe many the man never cared for him to begin with. This reveal made Danny angry. Very angry. He ended up promising his friend that his father would most definitely avenge him (even if he had to make him)
Or what if the soul resurrected in Jason's body wasn't actually Jason?
