A little reminder to my fellow fic writers to remember that fanfic is meant to be self-indulgent and fun!

I’ve been beating myself up about not posting as much as I’d like to because I feel like I’m disappointing readers and I realised I started to see fic writing as more of a job or chore. Not a fun realisation when fanfiction is meant to be a hobby for my own enjoyment.

So please remember that the number 1 rule is to do what’s fun for you.

To fic readers: remember that everything an author posts is for them and they share it because they want to, not because they’re under any obligation.
