Anglerfish on Wheels
Three enormous anglerfish on wheels recently stormed the VIVID Light Festival in Sydney. Designed by the emergent multidisciplinary Group D Creative Collective with a lot of support from Sublitech, each glowing fish was carefully made by hand out of printed lycra and chiffon and wrapped around a custom-made bicycle frame.
I took this picture at the Potsdammer Platz in Berlin while I was on my way to the cinema. It's a random shot... the light just struck me as unsual. But seeing as it turned out - even the reflection of the aperture makes sense - some randomness seems more than welcome.

now, I have this. I only recognised the light on the air vents, and was quite surprised that the whole picture got this nice shine.

This picture is taken directly from my window and though I don't know what to call it, I simply love it. Slightly gormenghast-ish, strong backlight, brooding clouds receding...
