Holy crap, my friend is an amazing photographer and make-up artist. She turned the tomboy mess of me in the other two photos and into something presentable for character cosplay.
Finished my Lovestruck, Villainous Nights’ Andi Kim cosplay photo shoot in San Francisco. I’ll post more pics on next week cause I’m still organizing ‘em, but I added a sample of what’s to come. That’s like one of the several hundred shots my friend took. I think I was saying “WTF” in that photo and my friend caught it on camera lol…
Funny story. I wanted good quality boba props for the photo shoot, but most places nowadays use the cheap plastic covers. So, I remembered TenRen’s in China Town still used the old school cups with the actual plastic lids.
The old lady working at the boba shop made me bust out my 1337 Chinese skillz cause she couldn’t understand what we wanted to order. Once that happened, I was able to ask her (in Chinese) if my friend and I could take photos inside her shop and she said okay. We pretty much continued all conversation in Chinese, I think older generation people are always surprised when they find out I can speak two dialects of Chinese.
And, she started suggesting us where to take photos rofl…that was super cute. She was super nice and let us go anywhere in the shop! Then, THEN…this old lady asked me to watch her boba shop while she went downstairs to grab stuff and take a break. LOL…that was fuckin’ funny as hell.
We’re shooting the Love & Legends MC cosplay on Sunday in a park @ SF!
GUYS, LOOK! My gf @copypastus printed my favorite ACOTAR fanfic for our anniversary! A Court of Lies and Resurrection by @ashintheairlikesnow! It's made to look like the original paperbacks in style and appearance, same font and everything. They didn't have the embossing or quite the same format at the printing place, but the cover text is shiny and other than that it's fitting in perfectly. It's freaking AMAZING (like the fanfic deserves, it's seriously so good you guys).
