originally doodled in pen on my noteboook paper, cleaned up the stripes & such in photoshop. i have this headcanon that sofia tried to throw out her wedding ring when she first heard abt dale but couldn’t bring herself to, and when she finally got up the conviction, the thing in nod happened. i know she’s in mourning still, but i hope she’s wearing it again, and i hope its giving her comfort

Definitely cried a little when I saw the new trailer, I’ve watched it five times now it will probably be six as soon as I upload this.

I think next time I'm just going to colour one thing and have the rest black and white. I always get a bit over-ambitious, but this was fun for the first time! Even if I was frustrated, I did one drawing, didn’t like it, thought of another idea, got some advice, tried the second idea, couldn’t cut it, went back to the first but re-drew it. I’m still not super happy, I think I might try and ink that second sketch some other time. But yeah, okay good self-reflection me, get some tea sketch the next thing then go the fuck to bed 

I resized the image! I think that fixed it a bit, but I’m still learning about Tumblr stuff. But p proud of this one!!  Once again personal stuff under the cut 

I think... I’m not ready for crosshatch... or at least that wasn’t the right choice for this. I would have liked to do point stuff or maybe just plain line give it more of a manga type look. But next time, I am super proud of the skirt shadows, The tv static and the eye, also the actual sailor uniform, those white lines where tricky and I’m proud of them. 

Pumped for tomorrow! Don’t know what to do but we will see.

but I’m proud of myself for this one none the less!! getting a bit better at shading i feel like and actually dig the cross-hatching on this even if i got lazy at the arm.

still a day behind on inktober, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. misty moore/josephine gatsby is my most darling tuc rarepair, and of course i had to take the opportunity to practice anatomy & lines of movement with them! the poses are referenced from this photo; josephine’s design is intended to be a mixture of josephine baker & zelda fitzgerald, in honor of her two namesakes
