being locked away in the mountains is so funny because being away from all the things that made me happy is making me confront the fact that in my family i’m terrifyingly alone. i hate myself so throughly i don’t think anyone should be subjected to my presence and i can’t even offer myself compassion. im away from my friends and my lovers and my room and a roof of my own and it gets colder. i’m terrified no one will ever hold me again, that i will be cold forever, that im a self pitying, selfish mess of a woman. that i deserve it. because i think i do, my mother’s being decently nice. my brother’s my only comfort, i miss everyone. i dont think ill ever be missed by anyone. and i hate to think it so, im so cruel to people in my head, i think so little of me. i think they’ll be wicked to me, that they’ll leave me, that maybe they should, that my friends, my new found friends would survive without me. im almost happy to be away, im away too nervous taking up space. i cant seem to get over the urge to punish myself. for having feelings, for not being fun, for hating myself, for not being good enough, for wanting to talk to someone, for putting the weight of my rot on someone else’s chest. for being jealous and envious. i’m beautiful, im decently smart, im not rude or outwardly cruel, im not mean, or deceitful or hateful, i work hard at my hobbies, im committed to it. i may be dangerously close to alcoholism but im recovering and i might be possessive and wrong and cryptic and machiavellian. i may self righteous and self flagellating and demanding, and a mess. i may unworthy and annoying. there a but somewhere but i can’t find it
