i love how most of the fandoms response to yennefer breaking up with geralt on the mountain seems to be: “wow...she’s so mean to him...she broke his heart...she made that relationship so toxic...” as if geralt wasn’t the one to trap an unknowing woman in a kind of soulbond to keep her bound to him, proceed to have sex with her multiple times (because they are “mysteriously drawn together”) and never tell her about it or the fact that the love she feels for him might just be that whole soulbond thing so she doesn’t even know if that’s real.

like yeah the relationship did seem to be pretty toxic but like,,,how is your conclusion that this is primarily or even solely yennerfer’s fault. everything she did was extremely justified because geralt never disclosing that fact was, ya know, extremely fucking gross
