I keep imagining the Byers-Hopper family debrief about the events over spring break and El is trying to totally downplay what happened to her at the lab and Will is having NONE of it

El: yep
Will: *staring at El with narrowed eyes and arms folded*
El: *kicks Will underneath the table*
Will: *slams fists on the table* HE PUT HER IN A GODDAMN SHOCK COLLAR
*Joyce and Hopper turn to El in horror*
Will: Death was too kind if you ask me
Jonathan: He’s still mad that Argyle wouldn’t run over Brenner’s body to… “make sure the job was finished”
