Hope it's not too late for cats family headcanons! I think Munkustrap's mother died shortly after he was born so Jenny helped raise him. It's why he's so fond of her

YESSSS! i definitely believe that jenny helped raise munkustrap, he loves that woman so so much! the most clear example of this for me is definitely in the 1998 film. the way michael gruber’s munk smiles so softly at her during her entire song is so adorable, like that really is his mom! i haven’t really thought about him losing a mother, as i usually think his mother is grizabella, but i think that could be a really interesting side of him to explore to!
