If I had a nickel for every time a sitcom featured a funeral scene in which a character mourns their father by leading the congregation in a doleful impromptu rendition of a classic rock song, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot. But it’s weird that it happened (at least) twice.

Does anyone else really hate jess from new girl? She's such a bad friend, always thinks she's better than people and doesn't listen when her friends say not to do something.
I'm rewatching it for the billionth time and (season 2 spoilers) in the episode with Cece's bachelorette party Cece gets upset at the fact that the party is happening when she didn't want it to when her aunt in law is right there too. And her aunt in law yells at Cece for being irresponsible (because there is literally a powerpoint of pictures of Cece being drunk and wearing revealing costumes) so she says she didn't want the part and that's not who she is.
And Jess, who's meant to be Cece's best friend, storms out and gets mad at her when she threw a party Cece clearly didn't want. She even tells Cece she shouldn't get married? Because she thinks she knows everything about Cece and won't listen is Cece says otherwise. I know in this scenario Cece didn't actually want to marry shivrang but still, Jess had no right to yell at her like that. "you've wanted a bachelorette party ever since I've known you :(" because Cece planned a bachelorette party when she was in her early teens?? And Jess assumed she still wants that exact party in her thirties?
There's another episode where she gets pissy about Cece being a model and yells at her friends. She calls Cece dumb behind her back (on her birthday) just because she was a model and had model friends and then stood by it when Cece got upset.
And when she gets angry at Reagan because she didn't like desserts? And how she refuses to let anyone not like her? She didn't like Reagan either why should it matter if Reagan didn't like her?
She's always so selfish and makes fun of her friends constantly because she clearly thinks she's better than them. And I don't get why people still think she's a caring, innocent person because she's just judgemental and condescending.
