Tulip Garden:

Chapter 1 - Flowery Secret

Rupert was leaning against a wall waiting for something, in his hand his cell phone with Dave Panpa's contact on screen. that day they were supposed to go bowling to celebrate the twins' birthday, but Dave was late. Rupert was close to the apartment where Dave lived on his own, but so far he hasn't come down, at this point it was late and he was very worried that something had happened.

Dave is not known for being confident or lucky, he was really uncomfortable and clumsy, Price was worried that he had overslept but something in him said something was wrong. he considered entering his apartment, but didn't want to be rude, especially if he accidentally ends up walking in without knocking and sees his friend naked!(this has happened before and it was very embarrassing)

"Rupert!" a thin, excited voice catches Rupert's attention, he looks ahead to see two of his friends and Dave. Sam and Johnny. "We're on time, good thing!” Sam sighs in relief, “I thought we were going to be late today!” Sam smiles packing his black choir bag. "wait, did we make it on time?" Sam asks wanting to be sure, "Actually, I was already thinking I had to go get you guys!" Rupert smiles, "ha-ha, very funny!" Sam laughs, "so shall we go in your car?" Sam asks looking for Rupert's car, "yeah, I just..." he looks towards Dave's apartment, which was easy to spot, the front door had a panda-shaped sign, and the front window had a vase full of beautiful Tulips that the two of them had planted together at Dave's request.

"I'm waiting for Dave," he replies turning his attention to the phone with a look of concern."he was supposed to be ready to go!" he says looking back at the apartment again. Sam and Johnny look a little too concerned. "why don't you go check it out?" asks Johnny crossing his arms and raising an eyebrow, he doesn't see how that wouldn't be an obvious option. "and disturb his privacy?? n-no way!!" he says shaking his head in denial and gesturing with his hands equally. Johnny presses his fingers to his nose, not believing his friend's idiocy.

Sam chuckles, quickly extending a hand, "I'll go see him! I have no problem getting into his apartment, he gave me an extra key!" they get a spare key to Dave's apartment with a panda keyring. Sam heads towards the apartment with an innocent smile, Johnny and Dave watch them go. "Sometimes you act like an idiot when it comes to Dave, and still say you don't have a crush on him!" says Johnny with a judgmental look, Rupert blushes staring at his friend and quickly changes his expression from surprise to irritation.

"We are just friends!" he says in a serious tone, "nothing more, nothing less!" he says crossing his arms and tucking his phone into one of his coat pockets. "Also..." he pauses a bit thoughtfully and looking briefly at Dave's apartment, "he wouldn't be interested in someone like me..." he says a little wistfully, that seems to annoy Johnny who sighs briefly.

Sam uses Dave's key to enter the apartment, opening the door and looks like everything was blacked out. "wake up wake up Dave!" says Sam in a playful tone turning on the lights and driving around the apartment, everything seemed in place, the magazines were on the coffee table and the tv was off on the couch was the coat that Rupert had given him, Sam smiles seeing Dave's favorite outfit was in perfect condition!

Sam heads into the kitchen, where they can smell hot chocolate, with pancakes and... blood? Sam's eyes go into a state of alert, they look towards the counter where they were Dave's breakfast (they would go bowling early), that's when Sam notices something that leaves them with a sick feeling in their stomachs.

there was blood on the table...

Sam starts to panic, soon they realize that the blood was also on the floor and goes to the hallway, Sam follows the blood and then notices something even more unusual. a flower petal. Sam stops and crouches, a little disgusted to stay but takes the petal in their hand and brings it to their face. the hallway was dark but they, turning the petal in their hands, deduced that they were from Tulips. Sam notices the trail of blood leading to the bathroom, and the closer they got, the more they saw petlas, and the closer they got to the bathroom, the more they could hear a muffled voice. a cry and coughs, it was Dave!

Sam, already scared in front of the half-closed bathroom door, was very worried about whatever was happening to ther friend, and even scared, they couldn't leave Dave alone crying and quickly opens the door calling for him with a certain fear in their voice, "DAVE!!"

what was in front of Sam was almost terrifying, some would say disturbing. Dave was in a corner of the shower stall, he was crying, blood was staining the bathroom tile, there was blood in the sink and near the toilet, but the blood followed to Dave, who, noticing his friend's need, kept a look of panic and fear. covering his mouth where blood continued to spurt and stain his delicate hands and clothes. the petals were for every trace of blood. Sam stares at Dave who looks like he wants more space in the bathroom to disappear. "D-Dave..." they cover their mouths in shock at their friend's state, holding back tears as they slowly enters the bathroom feeling their legs shaking. "Dave what happened...?" they ask themselves approaching Dave and then crouching at his height, bringing their friend's hand closer and scaring themselves even more when he starts coughing again, placing his hands over his neck and chest as if in pain, more blood came out of his mouth, but what left Sam even more paralyzed with fear and terrified...

Tulip petlas begin to cough from its mouth...

Sam stands up taking a shaky step back, they were in complete shock at Dave's disturbing state. "D-Dave... h-how are you... why are you coughing petlas??" they ask almost screaming, covering their mouths again in complete disbelief. tears were almost coming out of their eyes.

"S-Sam..." Dave weakly calls out to Sam, he stands up staggering still with one hand on his neck and the other leaning against the wall, staining the table with the blood of his hands. "p-please..." he places his hand on Sam's shoulder which makes them even more terrified. "please don't tell Rrupert..." he cries, almost digging his fingers into his friend's shoulders, Sam, still in complete shock, grips Ms.'s shoulders keeping him upright,"D-Dave! what is happening?? you're vomiting blood, did you eat something wrong?? I need to take you to the doctor now!" Sam grabs Dave's wrist and tries to pull him out of the bathroom as fast as possible, whatever Dave has, it must be pretty serious for him to be vomiting blood. "no!!" Dave screams covering his mouth which is still full of blood.

"n-no I can't let Rupert see me like that..." he says softly in a crying tone, "not in a million years can he see me like that..." he lets go of Sam covering his mouth with his hands and kneeling on the floor crying. Sam tries to hold back the tears, the amount of blood makes them want to vomit too but they hold back to shakily hug their friend. "II don't know what's going on with you," they say quietly with their arms around Dave comforting him, "b-but you have to tell them, they might know what to do..." Dave widens his eyes pushing Sam away, "No! II don't want to!!" Dave puts his hands on the sides of his head shaking it.

"just..." he thinks of a good excuse, "tell them I'm not doing so well that they can go without me!" he responds by looking into Sam's eyes, in which he opens his mouth to speak but all that comes out is a long sigh of resignation. "what" they say with a sad look, get up and turn on the sink faucet to wash the blood that soiled them. "but sooner or later they'll find out..." they stood in the water while Dave got up and sat on the toilet next to him still crying and coughing. "and you won't be able to hide it forever!"they turn off the faucet there turning aggressively to their friend, "and when that happens, tell the truth..." they start to feel the tears once more before wiping them away, "you know I don't like to lie to my friends..." Dave looks at Sam, blood and petals dripping from his mouth.

"o-ok..." Dave says softly and quietly. Sam gives him another tight hug and withdraws from the bathroom, his expression of dread and concern getting worse with each long step they hear Dave coughing more and more aggressively. Sam leaves the apartment, locking the door with shaking hands, having no idea how he is going to convince the others that Dave is okay. out of nowhere they feel a hand on their shoulder and jumps in fright catching the key that jumped out of their hands.

"why did it take so long?" asked Johnny who quickly realizes Sam's state of panic. "are you okay Sam? you seem a little agitated..." Sam disguises it with the fakest smile they could muster, "y-yes! I'm great! Dave not so much, he's not feeling very well today and said we can go without him!" Sam says very nervously putting the keys in their bag. "wow, are you sure he's going to be okay? Johnny asks looking at the door "Pure certainty buddy! now let's go, he wants privacy at the moment!"

"Can I call a doctor to stop by later to see him, or has he already called one?" asks Rupert who was right behind Johnny, Sam gets more nervous swallowing hard, ""y-yes! he said yes!" they respond quickly, weird...he would have told me that earlier..." Rupert looks at his cell phone puzzled. "h-his cell phone was dead! that's why!" Sam responds once more with the smile getting bigger and more uncomfortable. Johnny looks at them suspiciously but Sam looks away, walking right past him, ""So, let's go??" they ask already in a hurry to go soon.

Rupert looks at Dave's apartment door, a little worried, Sam and Johnny continue walking to the car. Rupert takes a deep breath and searches his contacts for Dr.V's number. Rupert looks down and sees a Tulip petal, it wasn't unusual, it's very good to be one of those decorating the balcony, but this Tulip was strange for Rupert. he bent down to get a better look, taking the petal in his hand and turning it, the petal appeared to have splattered blood that Price knew all too well.

Price feels a knot in his stomach and a feeling much worse than before, resisting reaching for the handle but hears his car horn being pressed by Johnny who was impatient. rrupert guards the Rupert tucks the petal into his pocket and runs to the car, taking one last look in the direction of his friend's apartment, much more than just worried. he gets in, starting the car and putting on his seat belts and starting to drive to the bowling alley in town, leaving his cell phone nearby for any calls from Dave or the doctor. Johnny notices Sam's restlessness as they kept sitting, wondering what happened in the apartment that made them like this, since half a minute before they entered they were very excited and optimistic, and now they were quiet and serene.

what happened with Dave was too much for Sam who had never seen anything as horrendous and grotesque as that, they felt covering a crime or something very wrong. the feeling of wanting to tell others was very strong, but their loyalty to Dave was just as strong. they were very lost in this dilemma, while wondering, what was it about Dave that was accusing him of so much pain, what caused this pain, and why was he vomiting blood and flower petals? they were too confused, but soon the devastating answers were revealed, which would change their lives and those around Dave forever...maybe

Chapter 1- Escape from the Prison of the Dead

Henry always got away with trying to steal something, this time he wasn't so lucky. He was caught just trying to steal a safe in the middle of the Arizona desert!(by the way, who builds a safe in the middle of the desert??)He sat in his prison cell, watching the guards passing in front of his cell for 5 months. marking the days on the wall until he could finally get out of there and go on with his life as a thief.

in one of the precinct rooms were three long-time friends, Dave, Johnny and Rupert. the three were talking about donuts and a movie nine that was coming out next week. "I'd love to go, but I think I'd be too busy so you two can go without me!" says Johnny leaning back in his chair eating a donut,Rupert stares at him questioningly, "Okay, what are you doing next week on Opening Night of the movie ham?" Price asks raising an eyebrow, Johnny opens his mouth to speak, but nothing comes out, the same snort crossing his arms, "I just don't feel like it!" he says rolling his eyes and looking away from the other two.

Dave laughed scratching his cheek with a finger, "I think it would be nice to go just you and me Rup." he replies shyly looking down, Rupert feels his cheeks getting red before he sighs smiling and laughing, "sure! I just wanted to go with my two best friends anyway!" Dave and Johnny look at each other and smile and laugh beside Rupert. Dave gets up, "I'm going to get a coffee, would you like it?" he asks the two of them, Johnny shakes his hand in denial and Rupert nods.

Dave goes to the coffee maker, he hears the tv in the corner of the room talking about something a little worrying. "breaking news! downtown Phoenix Arizona is undergoing a quarantine, a strange infection seems to have affected part of the city. We advise everyone to stay in their homes and not leave until further notice!" Dave tries to ignore it, but the thought that downtown is going through something so terrifying is enough to frighten him.

Dave picks up his coffee cups and turns to go back to the other two but ends up accidentally bumping into another policeman. "what the fuck!! don't you know how to look where you idiot???" annoyed the cop grabs Dave by the collar of his uniform, Panpa keeps his hands up nervously, he notices some bloody bandages on his arm, the cop shakes Dave, "you will learn "you will learn not to mess with me!!" Dave closes his eyes prepared to take a punch

"oi!" Rupert pulls the guy away from Dave, he pushes him to the ground he pushes him to the ground, which he holds tightly to the bandaged arm. he grunts, gets up angrily and goes to the nearest bathroom. "what an asshole..." Rupert looks at Dave worriedly and holds out a hand, "are you ok Dave?" Dave accepts to hold Rupert's hand looking down. "don't blame yourself man, he's been acting like this since he arrived..." says Johnny looking at the door. "I-I... sorry about the coffee..." he says looking at the broken cup, "Nah, it's okay!" Rupert responds. "I really didn't want to."

Dave smiles, the two leave the room and continue walking through the police station. while Rupert is talking to another colleague, Dave finds a box in the middle of nowhere. on the box was a note saying "for Henry stickmin" Dave takes the box in his arms gently, "oi Dave!" Rupert catches Dave's eye as he turns and follows him, "Hey, I found this box here, for Henry Stickmin?" Rupert raises an eyebrow, "If I'm not mistaken, it must be that guy who tried to rob a safe! haha! come on give it to him, whatever it is." rupert puts his arm around Dave smiling heading towards the cells on the fifth floor.

while the two were leaving, a policeman hears something abnormal coming from the bathroom, a little curious he goes in to see what it was, opening the door... for the nightmare to begin...

Henry was sitting on his cell bed, uncomfortable being made of stone, he hadn't slept in months just waiting to finally be released. "Oi!" Henry looks in front of him, two policemen, Dave and Rupert were outside, "you can leave now!" Henry flashes a smile with his shoulders shrugged, but rupert laughs with a hand on his belly pointing at Henry, "haha, not really," Henry's expression changes to irritation. "You should see your face! but hey, you got a delivery! " he shoves the box through the cell's food entrance, "don't get super excited ok? we checked what we had to be sure right Dave?" rupert looks at Dave with a confident smile, Dave breaks into a nervous sweat and smiles nervously, "of-of course I checked, if I didn't check I'd lose my job, I'd lose my job!" he says scratching the back of his neck nervously.

the two move away from the cell, allowing Henri to see what was inside the box. a cake?well, apparently not, the cake opens and Henry sticks his hand inside to see what he has. he pulls out a nail saw and with a smirk he already knows how to escape.

Dave and Rupert continue talking when a scream from downstairs alerts them. "what the fuck was that???" rupert asks, already preparing his pistol in hand, Dave hears the sound of metal letting go of himself turning to see Henry outside his cell holding a metal bar in hands. "Rupert!" Price looks towards Henry already getting annoyed but then they hear another scream again, this time they hear several screams coming from downstairs, Henry stops, listening to the screams very confused.

the elevator doors open, revealing what looked like some police officers, "Hey! what's going on down there??" the cops were on the ground, but as soon as they hear rupert's voice they turn around. the police officers were in a decrepit state, their eyes lifeless almost as if they were dead, some had bites on their body parts, blood all over the uniform but mostly around the mouth. in his hands were live chunks of flesh, and on the floor at his feet... another policeman's body, cut open in the stomach with its innards sticking out. the decrepit cops were feeding off each other...

Dave covers his mouth at the sight, almost wanting to vomit at the disturbing image he saw, Henry grips the metal bar tightly in his hands feeling the cool surface. rupert points the pistol at the direction of whatever those things are. "stay away from us!!!" rupert grotto, this only makes those things if they get up and walk limping towards them, one of them runs at an absurd speed. before they got close to them Henry lunges forward, hitting the thing with the bar right over the head, splattering blood on the floor and wall.

Dave screams, falling back, tears in his eyes and covering his mouth in horror. "to the closet, NOW!!" Rupert warns pulling Dave by the arm and taking him to the closet while Henry hits the other policeman with the iron bar and punches the skull in which he makes a disgusting sound. Henry enters the closet before it's closed, his face covered in the blood of the thing he's just realized he's killed.

"WHAT WAS THE—" Dave almost screams but Henry covers his mouth as rupert continues to peer through a crack in the door. the shouting drew the attention of more of those things."Agent is going to die, I don't want to die!!" Dave was crying covering his mouth so as not to attract more attention. rupert makes a sign of silence blocking the post with his chair, "we have to think about what to do..."

Henry was standing back in a corner and he stared at the metal bar he was still holding, his hands trembling at the blood that still trickled down to two of his hands. Henry's eyes widen in terror and he throws the metal bar heavily to the ground covering his head with his hands. he starts hyperventilating one hand to his heart and the other trying to clear the blood from his face. he feels some tears of fear running down his face, in all his life he never needed to kill to get what he wanted. at least a few punches here and there, but killing was one of the things he didn't do, didn't fit his moral sense.

Dave feels sorry for Henry and tries to calm down even against Rupert's opinion. "Hey, calm down, w-we're going to get out of this ok?" he puts his hand on Henry's shoulder but the thief slaps him away with a look full of Panic. "no need to be rude to him!!" rupert defends, he looks up seeing a vent, "We can use this to get out of here!" he says pointing to the vent, "but how are we going to open it...?" the question was quickly answered by Henry himself standing up a little wobbly and picking up a screwdriver from the counter.

Rupert sees it in Henry's hand and agrees, "ok, first we have to see who's still normal, Johnny has the keys to our police car! he can help!" rupert says taking his cell phone and has trying to call Johnny. I meanwhile Henry starts to open the vent with the screwdriver without a single complication. "wow, you're good at that..."Dave complements him but Henry seems to ignore him by finishing opening the vent and removing the lid without making too much noise, a moment later he looks at the metal bar, and reluctantly he picks it up and puts it in the vent before starting to climb..

"Shit!" the call goes to voicemail, "he's not answering!" Dave and Rupert are more worried, Panpa hugs her legs in the fetal position crying very nervously. "hey! let's go for the vents! we have to go to the first floor which is where we last saw him!" Dave, who had tears spilling on the floor, agrees cleaning them and getting up with the help of his friend.

Henry offers a hand already inside the vent, rupert helps Dave to be pulled by Henry, rupert is about to enter when the three hear the door slamming and aggressive groans coming from outside. Henry panics and pulls him heavily into the vent at the exact second when the door is burst open by the creatures that can barely be considered human anymore. the three silently begin to crawl through the station's vents.

the three crawl through the vent trying not to get lost, rupert looks through the doorways seeing more of those things below them. Dave hears a voice from other police officers trying to run, slipping and screaming for help before being caught by the creatures and torn apart. Dave covers his mouth to keep from screaming in terror and follows Rupert and Henry.

after much crawling the three stop at an entrance where Henry couldn't see anything under them. he kicks the vent cover hard until it falls to the floor, he throws the bloodied metal bar to the floor making a metallic noise and damaging the floor before going down and picking it up in his hands. rupert gave before Dave to help him down who was still scared. after the three descend, rupert arumã his pistol ready for anything, Dave was very scared and can only grab a tazer with trembling hands. Henry extends an open hand above his head, glancing up and down the hallway they've fallen into to make sure they're alone.

after looking both ways in silence, he arrows his hand and points to the left where he could see a staircase. the three stay alert running towards the stairs, blood could be seen on the walls and floor. they head downstairs until they find more of those things clustered on the floor, Henry keeps the two of them away while he sticks his head out to get a better look. he could see those things consuming the guts of another dead cop, Henry covers his mouth in disgust and horror gripping the metal bar tightly in his other hand.

gritting his teeth Henry grips the metal bar tight and runs towards the creatures, "STICKMIN!!" rupert cave. one of the creatures turns towards them but Henry asks for his head with the metal bar and violently pulling out of his skull with a disgusting hole in the middle of the head the other creature tries to attack Henry but the meso dodges back and slams the slash into the thing's head hard again and again. rupert loads his weapon and shoots one of the creatures several times. the shots seemed to have no effect and Rupert panics, he fires more and more and the creature continues to run limp towards them and Dave is still hiding behind the wall crying. rupert closes his eyes shooting the creature in the head which stops running and goes to the ground motionless.

rupert iperventbtilando starts shooting more times at Panic until the bullets run out. he searches his pockets for more cargo but those were his last bullets. another creature was about to attack him but Henry saves him at the last second by driving the metal bar into the thing's chest and sending it to the ground holding the bar firmly to the ground and I get it in the head forcefully with the foot until the brains burst.both breathing heavily, rupert looks behind Henry seeing that he had killed all those things and saved him.

Henry extends his hand to Rupert who accepts to get up, "thank god you're ok!!!" Dave cries hugging tight rupert,"hey, it's ok Dave..." rupert check out his scared friend, "I'm fine..." he looks at Henry who was wiping his bloodstained face, "thanks..." Henry looks at Rupert with a blank look. "for saving me..." rupert lets go of Dave and the two continue walking.Henry looks down and then at the two of them before walking away with them.

the three finally reach the first floor. rupert goes into shock and Dave covered his mouth, the whole police station was dominated by these things...colleagues and superiors either Turned these things over or were consumed and torn apart by them. there was blood and chaos everywhere, how did this start? how does this happen?? Why did this happen??? the questions that surrounded the heads of the three stopped when they heard a familiar scream coming from another room. "STAY AWAY SON OF A BITCH!!!" the two friends look in the direction of the shout, "Johnny!!" the two say running towards where the screams came from with Henry the seconds and looking to see if they were followed. to make sure they don't get near them, Henry picks up a mug he found on the floor and throws it as far away from them as possible. the mug breaks on the wall next to a horde which runs towards the noise if moving away from the trio.

finally they arrive at the source of the screams seeing Johnny being attacked by one of the creatures, the same policeman who bumped into Dave earlier! "Johnny!!" Rupert gropes for his friend, grabbing a chair and slamming the creature hard and knocking it off him. Henry finishes the job by crushing his head with the metal bar. Johnny was hyperventilating on the floor until rupert helped him up, "thanks man..." he says with a tired look and being seated in a chair. "John what do you hear??" Dave asks already in Panic as Henry blocked the entrance with a closet with difficulty, Rupert joins in to help.

"II have no idea... I remember a colleague walking into the bathroom where he was..." he looks at the dead body. "then we heard a scream and went to see." he chuckles, "bad idea..." he responds by covering his arm on which it looked injured. "you're hurt??" Dave asks worriedly holding his friend's hand. "yes," he replies, looking away rather blankly, "after that thing ran out the bathroom door, it was a matter of seconds before it started attacking everyone..." he says in a melancholy tone. "if they bit, scratched or caused deep wounds, they quickly turned others into these things..." he points to the door where those things were outside.

"we need the car keys!" rupert responds if moving away from the barricade, Johnny takes the keys out of his pocket and throws it to him, "it's already done.." Henry gestures to the window heading towards it to see if there were more of these things out there, he could see three of them. "let's go John!" rupert tries to help him but Johnny slaps his hand, "I can't go with you..." he replies with a low head. "w-why not??" Dave asks. John sighs uncovering his injured arm and showing it to them. the three go into complete terror in shock.

he was bitten...

"I can't risk hurting you..." he replies lowering his arm and head even further. "THERE HAS TO BE A CURE!!" rupert screams, forcing himself not to let tears fall down his face. "the only way not to risk it is to leave me or..." Johnny looks at Henry's metal bar, in which rupert shakes his head in denial, grabbing Johnny's shoulders aggressively "NO!! THERE HAS TO BE ANOTHER WAY!!" he cries, not wanting to believe that he was just that way.

Johnny smiles putting his hand over Rupert's, "It's ok..." He replied looking into Rupert's eyes. "Do you know the movie?" he recalls the conversation before me in a calm and serene tone, "I said I didn't want to watch with you..." rupert doesn't understand why he mentions this. "I just wish you had some time to spend with the person you really love..." he looks at Dave who was opening the window carefully, Rupert finally got it, he wanted him and Dave to have a moment to themselves, Johnny was always the third wheel and always wanted to see the two of them together soon.

Rupert can't help it, tears start to fall down his face. he hugs Johnny tight, "I'll miss you brother..." he says crying, Johnny hugs him back holding back tears. "my father called me, he said the government would be downtown looking for survivors and resources..." he lets go of Rupert, "if you see him... tell him I love him... that he's a better father of the world..." he smiles weakly holding up a picture of him and his father from the day he joined the police academy. Henry looks at him as he approaches, "come on... get it over with!!" he closes his eyes, waiting for Henry to kill him.

Henry glares at him, lifting the metal bar to face him and staring at the photo.

Henry lowers the metal bar, putting his hand on Rupert's shoulder and heading to the window where he breaks it to pieces with the metal bar and exits through it towards the creatures outside. Johnny looks at him confused and laughs weakly, "What an idiot..." his eyes were almost dead... rupert couldn't look at his friend anymore and if he walks to the window, "goodbye friend..." he wipes his tears and helps Dave out and leaves together giving Johnny one last look in which he gives one last smile...

Rupert leaves the window and makes his way to the parking lot pressing the car keys button in which they hear his signal the three of them drive away with Henry removing the metal bar from the head of a creature he has just killed. the three of them get in as fast as possible, with no time to buckle up and just follow the road ahead of them with Rupert at the wheel.

Dave looks back at the police station one last time and then closes the car window. the three survived...

the only ones who managed to escape that hell alive. each with a new trauma in their lives.

rupert has just lost someone he considered a brother, he didn't even know what he would say to his father when he saw him. Henry felt the rush of killing, even if it was for his survival, he was no longer in the best state of mind, it would only get worse... and Dave... never seen death or tragedy so close, he was very sensitive, he was crying with his head against the car window, Rupert looked at him worriedly.

now they would have to trust each other in this nightmare... in this world of dread and fear...
