Pandora Hearts is an emotional rollercoaster- you know that one you convince yourself to get on. You stand in line going âThis will be fun!â and then you move closer and youâre like âWait, maybe not.â and then convince yourself that everything is going to be okay. So you inch closer and closer and then suddenly youâre at the boarding point so you go ahead and get on. As soon as you buckle youâve realized youâve made a terrible mistake but itâs already started moving and you canât get off now- youâre on this fucking feels train and canât get off until the last book lies on your bed and youâre surrounded by a puddle of your tears.
You are not alone!
Iâve psyched myself up for my destruction and realistically no happy ending.
Following Vanitas no Carte monthly is a wild ride. Like, I know Iâm reading because Mochijun is amazing and I love Pandora Hearts, but being that Iâve read both it (six times and counting) and Crimson Shell, Iâm very aware of what kind of story Iâm getting myself into. Pandora Hearts was literally you understand nothing for 70 chapters, then you get 30 chapters where you actually know whatâs going on, then it ends, and you were crying the entire time. Vanitas no Carte 12 chapters in? I have no doubt it will destroy me in some fashion
and Iâm
so excited for it
Just olivier setting his expectations right..

I cried when I read those chapters in the manga.
Just imagine how alone and lost she must have felt after losing louis.
she was blaming herself for not realising sooner, just as Noe was.
They were both experiencing inexplicable guilt for not be able to save louis in their own way.
Domi resorted to change herself to look and speak like her twin when she came to terms with how important louis was to Noe.
She, all throughout her life, subjected herself to the torture of thinking 'What if it was me instead? why couldn't it have been me?'
She hardened her personality and is overprotective of Noe for the very same reason.
She doesn't want to face the fear of losing her childhood friend due to her not being there for him.
This understanding just breaks my heart every time.
But I cant help thinking that both Jun Mochizuki and Yana Toboso,
created such complex and broken characters by giving them dreadful pasts and without a break they have to keep surging forward to reach their respective goals.
It's terribly sad.
But their writing is so wonderful that even though the characters are all imperfect people who are just holding on to their humanity, a shell of their original self, they are able to show glimpses of undeniable acts of kindness and acceptance.
Both these creators or authors have their stories in an extremely dark setting wherein even the most bright and pleasant memories can be otherwise seen and morbid and vile.
Of course it is interesting to read as a viewer but from the point of view of the characters it's miserable.
that's why readers often find themselves wanting to save characters from their demise or hope to save characters' childhood innocence and stop them from turning despondent.
Oh, fun VnC fact I see no one talking about:
As a kid, Domi uses the first person pronoun "ç§" [watashi] which is typically gender neutral/feminine. Kid!Domi in the latest chapters/episodes also uses it.
As an adult, Domi uses the first person pronoun "ć" [boku] which is typically masculine.
I'm letting everyone here imagine when and why, exactly, she made the change.
I just adore that specific scene from vanitas no carte manga so I just wanted to draw someone this majestically!!! So there is this work I've been working on I absolutely love how the eyes turned out

I love June sensei's art style and hope that one day I will be able to draw just like her
Now i want to be a lolly pop.

Please he is sooooo cute!!!

raise your hand if he ruined you too

So itâs been a while, thatâs my new drawing skills and I drew Leo Baskerville from Pandora Hearts! Itâs one of my favorite manga and story of all time and I think there is so much to say about it! But focus on Leo, he is one of my favorite character and I think he deserves the appreciation!
