AFTER MALACHITE, LAPIS HAS A REALLY SKEWED VIEW OF THE ENTIRE CONCEPT OF FUSION; VIEWING HER TIME AT THE BOTTOM OF THE OCEAN AS AN “endless crushing darkness” AND NOT AS SOMETHING AS AN EXPRESSION OF LOVE LIKE GARNET.
PERIDOT AS WELL IS DEALING WITH LEARNING/UNDERSTANDING FUSION AS WE SAW IN LOG DATE 7 15 2; SO IF THEY FUSED THEY WOULD REALLY BE “learning about it together”!! “IT” BEING WHAT FUSION IS ACTUALLY ABOUT WHICH IS LOVE!!! DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHERE IM GOING WITH THIS HOLY SHIT ZUKE

So I redid that now and made it… this.
