Damian and Marinette end up on a trip with the Legends of Tomorrow to track an akuma that ended up exactly where it shouldn't be The PAST! (It's like an opposite Timetagger, but not quite Timebreaker.) Somehow. Don't question it. (For those of you who watch Legends, you know how weird that show gets. Just go with it and everything will be fine, just fine) Current Waverider team-- Sara, Nate, Ray, Mick, Charlie, Zari, Mona, Ava (kinda) and Gary (kinda) Who's actually going to be relevant-- Sara, Mick, Ray, and Zari (the others are on their own mission or back at the Time Bureau HQ) Marinette and Damian are a bit reluctant to join the Legends. They respect the team, but they don't understand how they work At All. Both of them are used to a little more discipline, a little more structure. The Legends definitely don't roll like that. Marinette, fortunately, doesn't feel too many of the side effects from first-time time traveling. Damian, however, gets hit with a whole bunch of bad stuff. He does throw up, and he also gets hit with dizziness and speech issues. He hates it. He's basically incapacitated for the entirety of the mission. Poor kid. And where exactly did this mission take them into the past, you may ask? The day Marinette got her Miraculous. (Note: Damian and Marinette are nineteen in this AU, and Marinette got her Miraculous a few months before her fourteenth birthday). Marinette and the Legends have to protect her past from the rogue future akuma and make sure everything goes the way it's supposed to. But it's the Legends. Things don't go well. It gets a little crazy, where Fu almost doesn't give out the Miraculous and past! Marinette almost doesn't even do the thing that makes her worthy of the Ladybug title in Fu's eyes, but somehow things end up working out (albeit a little differently than before, not like Marinette will remember soon enough. It still doesn't change her present too much, though, just her origin story.) When Damian finally recovers (it really hit him hard), Marinette seems a little shaken up, so they go to a guest room on the ship to talk and relax a little, away from the Legends (who are notorious gossips and generally super nosy). They talk a bit about how weird it is to see your life from an outside view, who you were and what you could be (and Damian, though he didn't exactly experience the same thing, recounts the whole Heretic experience as a way of relating to Marinette) After they get home, they're a little more observant of their actions, what butterfly effects could change their lives, as well as being more observant to their own heritages and the cultures they came from. There are a lot of nights where they eat foods from their cultures and dance to their music in their little corner of Wayne Manor, forgetting the world for just a little while.

in just two days I got a lot of compliments and likes, more than before hehe, thank you for your attention to my comfort au, I was really happy that you liked it and I honestly thought it wouldn't draw so much attention since it's not an au so "wow, how spectacular" it's just an au to relax since when I read Legends I was so overwhelmed by the amount of trauma and sad things so I thought about doing something for the characters that captivate me so much, a universe where they live well

I'm doing several sketches and drawings and thinking about a mini comic from Albatross's childhood, I'll post it this week, so I hope you like it

Albatross family

King Albatross and Queen Emerald

After the death of Queen Lagoon (the cause of death was not revealed) Prince Albatross's wife assumed the throne with him, Albatross became a respected king for having animus magic

Albatross is mentally healthy and has more freedom in relation to his magic, his wife has always helped him in Lagoon's relationship to control his life since the shell accident that took out the claws of Princess Sapphire, Albatross's older sister.

Princess Manta and Prince Eel

Princess Manta is the kingdom's royal general, she was excellent in her tests and studies, besides being intelligent she is very strong in combat, Lagoon wanted her to be a servant or advisor but she refused and her parents let her be a general

Prince Eel is the royal advisor and also the best storyteller in the kingdom, he is extremely intelligent and always studies something in relation to the tribes in addition to always looking for evidence of animus and guiding exams to find out if there is another animus in the tribe

Princes Current and Scallop

Current is a young dragon and the oldest among his brother and his cousins, he and his brother are the two sons of Prince Eel, they only have their father, he trains to be a guard and protect his family

Scallop is Eel's second son, he is the same age as his cousins, who is 4 years old, he studies with them and he wants to be a great storyteller like his father

Prince Fathom and Princess Pearl

Fathom and Pearl are the two children of princess Arraia and a servant called Reef (her husband) Fathom is a young animus dragon and apprentice of his grandfather Albatross, in a year he will be old enough to leave to meet another supposed animus in the kingdom of night

Pearl loves making shiny accessories and giving them to her family, she really wants to be an animus but she doesn't have an animus so her brother Fathom tries to cheer her up by taking shiny stones and turning them into little animal statues for her.

Fathom, Pearl and Scallop hatched a year after Lagoon's death so they didn't meet her
