Or, that’s my guess, the timeline would be a bit funky otherwise. And it wouldn’t be out of character for the demon to be that petty either. However, maybe he couldn’t deliver the baby to Granny Holle right away, I mean, the witch was still around and pissed at them both, so maybe he had to wait (… several years).
It’s funny to imagine baby Elise crawling around his domain though. Would explain some of the creepy kid drawings too…

And now, I make a theory that St.Walpurga and Ozzy are a divorced couple and Ozzy took custody of Elise (as of the canon ending). Actually depending on the ending, either Ozzy or St.Walpurga takes custody of Elise, or neither and Elise lives a blissful life with the girl of her dreams. Endings where Ozzy takes custody: Moira, Treacherous Rose, Judas's Kiss Endings where St.Walpurga takes custody: Apostasy, The Kiss, Motherly Cocoon Endings where neither take custody: Star-Crossed, Grape Jewel, Bells of Dawn, Auto Da Fe
WOOOOOOOAAAAAAHHHH. THAT'S DEEP. Especially how Lebkuchen called out for Elise, only to find out that she has been stabbed in the back. So in that feeling of betrayal and paranoia, the only thing that she could trust now at that moment was HERSELF.

in the bad ends with ozzy, the girls each call out to the people important to them. freya calls for her dad. rozenmarine calls to her grandma. but who does leb have to call out to? granny gretel? no, no matter the vague answers or strange actions, it was always her she could trust the most. or so she thought. i wonder if in that moment, she might even cling to the only thing she's ever known: her faith. the same one hung heavy over her head, but maybe, just maybe, it's worth something now. anyways leb's bad end messes me up!

I remember in the game that Elise goes to the church to make the Sweetest Nectar, right? I think that's more of the reason why Lebkuchen is Aziel's favorite.

Rozenmarine is obviously Ozzy’s, since he spent most of his time with her as Flocke — he even was present in one of the dates, I recall.
Now, Freya could be Murim’s. Even if her dream is to become a seamstress and open a shop in Primeldorf, her apron still shows motifs related to farming and birds; meanwhile, Murim has a wheat field in his grove, his human form resembles a farmer or a scarecrow, and he claims to be ruler of all things feathered. We also can’t forget about the windmills: Freya’s favorite spot is by the old windmill and you need to go to the new one to prepare the Tender Flesh.
Although I admit that I haven’t played through Lebkuchen’s route yet, I’m confident that she is Aziel’s favorite: in the evenings, you find her under a ray of moonlight, but not only that, if you check Kieferberg’s fountain, Elise will comment she used to play on it with Lebkuchen; which is funny, since Aziel is associated with the moon phases and water, and takes over the church in her boss fight. The monsters in Aziel’s grove have some resemblance to the nun as well, wearing similar veils to the sugary devotee.
However, not sure if such connections are due to favoritisms in the demons’ side, or to highlight that, deep down, Elise is very similar to Ozzy. After all, Aziel is not the only one who points this out…
Sometimes I feel like we were robbed of an ending where Elise becomes a demon and sets fire to Kieferberg — some of the villagers would have it coming…
And to top it all off, Aziel is a snake, as in the Serpent of the Garden of Adam and Eve, a biblical story.

Or maybe because the game only sees her as a joke and doesn't even acknowledge her in the real ending. At least Lebkuchen gives Elise the pocket mirror, and Rozenmarine gets mentioned in PM:GT, Freya has nothing to do with the PM:GT plot unfortunately :(
✨Aziel’s forms✨
We can all agree that Aziel takes the form of Elise’s love interests to torment her and put her love, and how much she knows about her paramours, to the test — that’s not up to discussion. However, isn’t it curious that those forms look like THAT? It’s like the demon is parodying something:
Rozenmarine’s looks like a wicked witch.
While Lebkuchen’s is a mockery of a pope.
But then, here comes Freya’s, the most baffling! It’s a jester!
The other two make a certain amount of sense: Rozenmarine, the outsider, the possible witch and Lebkuchen, the devoted nun, the holy woman! So now, why the jester? Is it because Freya has made it her duty to preserve Kieferberg’s jolly spirit, making everybody smile at the cost of her own happiness?
Is Aziel, then, parodying how the town perceives Elise’s love interests or how Elise believes Kieferberg sees them as?
