Little Nightmares Au - Tumblr Posts

Okay, look. I need to settle a debate.

So. A while back, I started making a Little Nightmares au. The concept was that there was a group of kids of different ages that had a little community in the woods, where they'd take in any others they found and everyone would take care of each other. However, there were a few rules.

1. Under no circumstances, do you mess with adults. Too dangerous. Nothing is worth it.

2. Anyone that dies consents to the others distributing their clothes and other belongings, as well as cooking and eating their body if need be.

3. If by some miracle anybody makes it to the age of seventeen, the younger ones are obligated to find a way to kill them as humanely as possible, to protect themselves and spare the older one from becoming fully corrupted.

Now. Several people I know are saying this sounds like a cult. I do not believe that this sounds like a cult; in the context of the universe and the situation they'd all be in, I think it's perfectly reasonable. But I need another opinion. So, here's a poll.

Frijal llegó en primavera a la aldea de niños donde habitaba Jack, cada inicio de este Jack le regala a frijal una fresa enorme como un regalo por su llegada a su vida.

Puede ser considerado esto como un regalo de cumpleaños pero Jack y frijal no saben que es eso y solo es un tipo de "aniversario " o "tradición propia " que ambos hermanos tienen

La fruta favorita de frijal son las fresas y por eso es la fruta que Jack siempre le da de tamaño enorme en cada inicio de primavera

!!Spoilers for the ending of Little Nightmares 2!!

Mono felt the floor fall out from underneath him as he ran from the wall of flesh that chased him. He briefly glanced behind him and almost instantly regretted it, as the wall of flesh was no more than a foot away from him. He pushed off from the crumbling bridge and set his eyes on Six, who was crouched on the other side of the chasm and prepared to catch him.

His palms nearly missing, Mono grabbed onto Six's outstretched hand and held it for dear life. He breathed a sigh of relief and smiled until he looked up at his companion's face and saw her frightened expression. His smile immediately dissolved and was replaced with a wide-eyed stare as he looked up at Six. She didn't look scared of the flesh-wall that had threatened to crush the two - she looked scared of Mono.

After what felt like centuries, Mono felt the girl's grip on his hands loosen and saw her face turn cold. He gave her a pleading, confused look before it clicked.

"Six, please," he looked up at his friend with begging eyes. "I'm sorry."

In less than a second, Six's expression shifted from cold and logical to stunned and empathetic. She studied Mono's face for a brief moment before pulling him up onto the ledge next to her and dragging him by the hand into the glowing doorway that signified freedom to them both.

Little Nightmares headcanons

I made most of these for an au I'm working on, also I gave RCG and RK actual names. RK is named Enkai and RCG is named Saki.

If they met, Six and Enkai would behave like siblings

Mono doesn't like the sound of static because he can hear whispering voices in it

All four kids (Saki, Enkai, Mono, and Six) would kill over mac 'n' cheese...

...Even if Enkai is lactose intolerant

Saki acts like a mother figure to the others

Though Enkai is their favorite person, the nomes will still follow Mono around sometimes

None of the kids, save for Saki, can spell

Six has ridiculously sharp teeth

Six's 'actual' name is Haru, though she prefers Six

Enkai is good at cooking

Saki will braid people's hair when she's bored

Mono is the term 'ray of sunshine' taken literally -- he's generally sweet, but he's not afraid to get his hands dirty

Summary: After the floor collapsed in on them, Mono and Six were faced with a new challenge neither of them knew how to handle.

Six and Mono sprinted through the abandoned house as support beams cracked around them. It was only a matter of time before they felt the floor start to give way, and with one last futile attempt to avoid the falling debris, they fell into the pit below.

The air smelled of smoke. The room felt like it was spinning. Scraps of wood and cement were littered all over the floor. The floorboards of the lower floor were old and splintered, and they gave Mono several cuts as he got up. His brain felt like it was on fire, and moving too fast made him dizzier than he already was. He pulled himself to his feet as he observed his surroundings.

He shifted uncomfortably on his feet, having gotten a splinter from the wood floors, and looked around, only to spot Six wedged between debris. She lifted her head groggily and reached out for help, and in response, Mono grabbed her hands and tugged her out of the pile.

The two fell backward with a thud. Mono lay there for a second, catching his breath after getting the wind knocked out of him. After getting his breathing straight, Mono stood up and turned toward Six, who remained of the floor. He reached out to help her up, to which Six merely looked up at him with wide, scared eyes and a pale face.

"Mono," her voice cracked as she spoke. "I can't feel my legs."

My friend and I were messing with our Little Nightmares AU concepts on Discord and we thought it be funny to share this with no context.

Context can be given if ask. Don't worry we hardly know the context either.

@therealsnowball1500 Ok I’m gonna try and summarize this as best as I can. But knowing me this will be long and headcanon based. TLDR at end in case.

Instead of dropping Mono, Six pulled him up. The millisecond they went off script the tower panic and tried to turn Mono into the Thin Man quickly so he be forced to stay, since his power is what keeps the tower ‘alive’. The two managed to get out before the transformation could take full effect so now there’s just Thin Man with the mind of Mono walking around. Just waiting for the tower to eventually fall/die and (hopefully) be turn back to normal.

At some point (either to try and find a proper cure for Six’s hungry or just because Six didn’t stop bugging him) they head too the Maw. The Lady hears about the Thin Man being aboard and deciding to try and get an idea of how the single tower works (or something), basically has her staff drag ‘Thin Man’ in a private dinner with her.

So Mono has to pull on the act of how he thinks Thin Man was (he doesn’t know Thin Man was him) and does a surprisingly good job for a panic 10-ish year old, at least in the beginning. Especially for having to spend every 15 or so seconds quietly forcing Six’s head back in the bag she’s in because she’s hungry and wants all that food now. Both Mono and Six are impressed.

Also that loop’s Thin Man may or may not be a ghost that Mono can just barely hear (and by that I mean he hears him just doesn’t register in his brain as ‘hearing’ something) and is part of the reason he’s doing so well. Thin Man has never talked to anyone though so even he’s not much of a help.

TLDR: Six pulled Mono up, Mono became Thin Man in the span of 30 seconds after leaving the tower, Six is chill with it for some reason. They go to Maw to handle Six’s hunger, gets forced into a dinner with Lady, and Mono has to do the best acting he’s ever done in his life. And does, mostly. Hence the meme.

Edit: for some reason ‘at some point’ and ‘so Mono’ swap and I didn’t notice that til just now and fixed it. I apologize for any extra confusion.

In this, much like Little Nightmares 3, it’s co-player except different pairings change the gameplay. I already have it all written down, but I don’t wanna make a super long post-

Next villain of the Sanders Sides Little Nightmares AU, The Professor! He meanders around the classrooms with slow shuffling, shambling steps and inhaling books, beakers and viscera. He is very slow until he’s after you and then he’s fast and practically boneless in his reach. You see him from behind and a light coming from him but you don’t know he’s distorted until he hears Thomas and Red and snaps around and tries to drag them into his gullet with a relentless pull. Thomas has to hide behind something to avoid it or he’ll be sucked in.

To advance, Thomas has to have Red call out to him in specific locations of the library while not getting himself caught because Red is strong enough to wriggle free but Thomas isn’t. The goal is to get The Professor to knock down certain things to progress forward, lured by Red’s call. Once he knocks things down, Thomas can grab hold of his tie and pull, causing the light of his face to flicker and sputter out before coming back on.

The stages of the classroom are the library, the lecture hall and the laboratory (Note I wrote “laboratory” on the picture, but it’s all three locations). Once his tie is gone, he turns into the studious child Indigo and Thomas and Red invite him to their little group.

Indigo has the ability to levitate objects with light. So long as something is under a light, Indigo can manipulate it in space.

Part 1 of the Little Nightmares Sanders Sides AU featuring The Actor on his stage. At first you can’t tell he’s facing you because of the position of his legs and then he attacks you if you make a noise that will “interrupt” his “performance” of janky terrible music and jerky motions.

The goal is to get up high above him on the Stage while avoiding making as much sound as possible and flicking a bunch of switches without being grabbed so the bright spotlights all shine down on him at once and he takes a bow. This lets Thomas, the protagonist kid, grab hold of the larger glass pieces in his head and tear them off.

It takes three literal stages to do this as he swoops out to catch you each time you pull one out and heads into another “room” of the stage. (stage 1 is the one in the third picture, stage 2 is a row of seats and stage 3 is a balcony) If he hears you he lets out a furious screech and reaches arms out to get you as more terrible janky music plays.

When the last of the glass falls out, the mask shatters and he shifts back into a child with a red coat affectionately dubbed Red:

Red has the ability of distraction when played in tandem with Thomas. He is able to cause distractions independently by making singing in different areas to call other monsters away from switches or levers.

Magnus Archives Little Nightmares AU

I said I would do this and I did uwu

I got a few other ideas but I decided a bit of a Little Nightmares II format would be fitting, with Jon in a bit of a Mono role. If you know you know, but their abilities strike me as similar vibes wise. I do have ideas based on the Sound of Nightmares podcast to how the two ended up in the Nowhere.

Martin is kinda a Six role, but doesn't got the Six distrust of other ppl vibes she has, instead the distrust of ppl is all Jon so it's kinda a reverse there compared to Six and Mono. But considering the Maw is a giant ship that spirits folks away I figured that making the Tundra something of a similar concept would be fitting for Martin later down the line in the AU.

Anyways my ask box is open if folks got questions.

For those who don't know me, I absolutely ADORE Little Nightmares and OMORI. They're both such silly games and I love them both dearly... so what if... I combine them? Best of both worlds am I rite?!

I do remember seeing something similar, where Mono took the role of Sunny with a Headspace and such-- But what if Six took up Sunny's role and Mono took up Basil's? (and Mari's too I guess but shhh)

Not only were both Six and Mono best friends before an unfortunate event that tore the two a part, just like Sunny and Basil, but like-- One of my friends pointed out that Mono can totally pull off being a Stranger/Headspace Basil in Six's hypothetical headspace. Like... LOOK AT THESE LINES IN THE BLACKSPACE ROOM--

"I just... I waited so long for you to come back, SUNNY... but... you never did."

THAT. MONO WOULD TOTALLY WAIT FOR SIX IN THE TOWER BUT WE ALL KNOW THAT SHE NEVER DOES COME BACK--

"Even seeing you now... It's hard to think straight. I can feel my heart hurting and I want to cover my face and hide."

Mono covers his face, he of course he'd feel hurt. And of course he can't think straight because he's bi-- /hj /hj IT IS JUST-- IT IS JUST HHHHHHH

Okay that's all I can think of regarding Mono-Basil stuff. Anyways have this thing that I drew for this thing. Ignore that I used Hero's expressions instead of Basil's shhhh

I might call this AU idea "Little Akumu" Tell me what you think of it :D
