Chise training :D can’t say how happy this show makes me every Saturday.
Here by Junna playing during episode 12 was absolutely beautiful coupled with Chise’s flight. I missed the song so much during the second cour xD and so I was listening to it over and over today.
…now to start reading the manga⭐️
I love the vibes he's giving. Such a dork but with a deep and dark undertone! Why aren't there any more headcanons and fanfics about him T.T!

It says on my profile that I post my writing on here, but I realize I never have…So with my goals for 2018 being to post more content and actually write for once, here is just a small start, just a little bit of fanfiction to begin posting before posting more of my original stuff.
The Ancient Magus’ Bride: A Restless Night
Chise woke with a start, images flashing through her mind, then vanishing into nothing. Sweat beading her forehead and her heart was racing. But she could hardly remember why, and the images were facing faster than she could make sense of them.
Ruth, who had been sound asleep, was instantly by her side, nudging her hand with his muzzle.
“What’s wrong Chise?” Your dream they…” he trailed. Even with the bond, the memory of the nightmare was fading, just as fast as it had been for her. The only thing that remained was a feeling. That feeling was loneliness.
“I’m fine Ruth, though I am really thirsty.” She said softly, one hand going to her throat, while the other went to Ruth’s head.
“Do you want me to.” He started but Chise shook her head.
“No, it’s okay I can get it myself. She said pulling the covers off of herself.
There was a chill that crept over her where the warmth of the blankets had been, causing her to shiver when her feet touched the wooden floor.
Grabbing a light jacket she had draped over a chair, wrapping herself in it quickly before heading towards the door, Ruth at her heels.
When she had reached the top of the stairs she could see a faint glowing emanating from the front room. (1/?)
Chise followed the light, seeing Elias sitting in his chair, a book in hand.
The fire in the fireplace was down to one log, a dying ember that barley held any warmth left but still held enough light in the immense darkness of the night.
Elias lifted his bone head to see her appear at the edge of the room. His voice sounding surprised to see her but his face held no expression.
“Good evening Chise, could you not sleep?” he inquired.
“I could as the same about you,” she replied. Ruth nudged her hand. She looked down at him and his eyes peered into her, she knew exactly what the look meant.
“I had a nightmare…” she said hesitantly.
Elias’ face never changed but his eyes flickered with concern and a hint of something else that reflected the light of the fire.
“Dreams and nightmares,” he began, “ can sometimes be a warning or message for something important. Do you remember what it was about?” he inquired.
She shook her head with a frown on her face.
“It’s alright Chise.” Elias said soothingly, seeing disappointment on her face. “Come sit by the fire, I’ll have Silver Lady bring you some tea.”
As if saying her name summoned her Silver appeared in the doorway nodding to Elias before turning to walk to the kitchen.
While Chise and Ruth had gone to sit, Elias had set down his book to add two logs to the fire. The fire hissed and popped, but grew, adding more warmth to the room. Satisfied, Elias sat back down.
For a moment there was nothing but silence. Ruth had his head in Chise’s lap, one eye open looking at Elias, the other on Chise. Chise idly tan her fingers over his fur, staring dryly at the fire consumed in her own thoughts.
She tied again but she could not remember any details from her nightmare, just that feeling. The intenseness of it still lingering through her even though she knew she was not alone anymore. She gave Ruth’s eyes a quick scratch and smiled a little.
She wasn’t alone, but still she couldn’t understand why the feeling still held into her. (1/?)

“Is there something on your mind Chise?” Elias inquired cocking his boned head towards her.
“The dream…” she began, fiddling with her fingers. “I don’t remember any details but it felt familiar and there was a feeling of loneliness.”
A flash flickered in Elias’ eyes and he opened his mouth to say something but words didn’t come out. Instead he sat back and said,
“I see.”
Reappearing Silver stepped into the room, a small clink of her tray announcing her presence in the silent room. She then began to set a cup on to the table in front of Chise before pouring hot tea into the cup. She gave Elias a look who simply nodded and she prepared a cup for him as well.
When she has finished pouring the tea she set a couple cookies onto the table before disappearing again with the tray.
Chise reached for the cup, feeling the warmth creep into her as she held the cup to her mouth. She took a long inhale through her nose, taking in the sweet aroma of the tea. It had a flowery scent to it.
“Lavender?” Chise asked. Elias nodded before responding.
“Good deduction, its chamomile tea brewed with lavender buds and a small bit of honey added. Hopefully to help us get back to sleep.”
“So you WERE having trouble sleeping.” She said, with an emphasis on were.
He gave a long sigh but nodded anyways.
“I did so I came down here to do some light reading until I became tired again.” He stated giving nothing else with a slight shrug of the shoulders.
Chise and Elias sat drinking their tea in silence the warmth easing their insides while the fire relaxed the outside. And soon the feeling left from the nightmare began slip away.
It was when the fire began to smolder that Elias finally stood causeing Chise and Ruth to wake from the sleepy bundle they had put themselves into.
“Let us get you to bed Chise, we have a long day ahead tomoeeow.”
Chise made only a small noise when Elias reached down to lift her from the couch.
“I can…” she began to protest but instead buried her face into Elias’ chest, letting him carry her.
Elias with Ruth in tow made their way to Chise’s bedreoom, Ruth then opened the door before heading to the head to pull back the covers, so that Elias could easily and gently set Chise down onto the bed, the pair working together to tuck her in as the fading Chise watched them.
When finished Elias made a turn towards the door but Chise grabbed his hand.
“What is it Chise?” he asked softly. But Chise made no sound, her facing holding the expression of a question ready to be asked, but it never touched her lips.
“It’s nothing, good night Elias,” she finally said.
“Good night Chise.

When Chise awake the next morning it was to the sound of Elias’s voice calling her name. She could feel the warmth of the sun jest peaking into her room, though the temptrature was not enough to make her want to leave the warmth of her blankets.
She felt herself drifting back to sleep again only to wake a few minutes with Ruth pressing his nose into her hand.
“He keeps calling you, you know.” He said opening his mouth wide yawning feeling Chise’s sleepiness that still clung to her.
“I know, I’m getting up.” She said with a yawn.
Chise went to work getting herself ready, not hearing Elias calling her anymore. So she assumed he knew she was finally up and about. It didn’t take her very long to get ready as she had already packed her bag the night before. So she took her time just waking up, feeling the lack of sleep. She was at least thankful the second half of her sleep did not contain dreams.
When she was finished she grabbed her things and headed down the stairs, only to see Elias in his chair, another man speaking with him. There were heavy circles under his eyes and a soft aura of magic around him.
“Ah, Chise you’re ready,” he said when he saw her, pausing his conversation. His voice holding a tint of either amusement or annoyance, maybe both.
