Invincible is so good you guys, I watched it 3 times and made my dad watch it too(and he liked it!). Surprisingly, he was offput by the gore because for once he finally watched a cartoon where the gore isn’t played out as a joke. The story and the characters are great and makes up for the sometimes weird ass animation and bad song choices ¯\_(ツ)_/ ¯ I highly recommend this show.
I need season 2 now.

Just rewatched invincible with a friend. Absolutely cannot wait for season 2
unfiltered messy thoughts on invincible season 2 part 2 (spoilers)
-I knew Mark and Amber's breakup was coming for a while but I'm sad. I shipped it and I never usually get invested in canon couples. Worse yet I'm worried their breakup means we won't see Amber very much again. I hope not, the show won't be the same without her.
-On the other hand I also knew Mark/Eve was coming but I don't like it, sorry not sorry. They have good chemistry as friends but I never saw a romantic connection or tension between them. Also, Eve's older self telling Mark "Tell her you love her!" is desperate and not in a good way. We've all been there girl but telling your unrequited crush of ten years ago that is wild. Also, compare to "Hey, handsome Mark Grayson!"
-Mark is still going through it, huh? Well, I like my main characters tortured and suffering and pushed completely to the edge so you can bet I enjoyed the angst. Also love that Mark being like his dad has been twisted from something admirable to something dark. And how Debbie told Angstrom so confidently he wasn't a killer and YET. Yes, corruption arc!
-This I gather is unpopular but I'm an Omni-Man hater, in the way that I love his antics and want him to stay evil. Not every villain deserves a redemption arc and this seems to be the way we're going with him. He's just not the character redemption arcs work for. Again, sorry not sorry.

DC x Invincible
So after falling down the rabbit hole based on danny phantom in the DC verse, I decided to create some hcs based on Invincible (Mark Grayson) being in the verse.
The first time Mark lands in the DC verse, he lands in Gotham. Because of Gordon telling Bruce that something landed in Gotham, Bruce went out to check and found a kid with his suit torn to bits and blood covering him.
He is not so friendly to Mark while donning the cowl. Especially after Mark asked him who he was only for the young hero to call him lazy.
After getting called lazy, Bruce calls upon Superman, who immediately comes to Bruce’s side. Clark asks Bruce what he needs, only for Bruce to point at Mark. “Your job,” he says before leaving Invincible in Superman’s hands.
Superman is kind of confused, like “what should I do with this boy?” So he contacts Bruce only for Bruce to say “I don’t know. Not my problem.”
The first question out of Invincible’s mouth to this man who strangely reminds him of a nicer version of Omni-Man is “is he always like that?”
Superman is hesitant to answer, but when he eventually answers, his answer is affirmative. That causes Mark to just sit there with a look that screams “Makes sense.”
After checking the other hero for any injuries, Superman asks Mark his name.
“I’m Invincible.” “Is that your real alias?” “Uh, yes? Listen, Immortal was taken and I couldn’t think of anything else.” “Oh. Okay.”
After finding out Mark’s alias, Clark takes him back to Smallville, allowing Mark to stay with his parents for the time being and helps Mark train his powers.
He also meets the rest of the Justice League and the Teen Titans, working with both teams on various problems.
While Invincible gets used to living in Smallville and working with Superman, the Viltrumites back on Mark’s Earth are like “wait where is he?” Because one moment, Nolan’s offspring is on Earth and the next he isn’t.
Everyone kinda forgets about Mark’s existence only for Mark to come back much stronger than ever before. He uses the training he learned from Clark to help him with fights.
BONUS
After Mark becomes emperor of the Viltrum Empire, Mark had the Viltrumites help him build a portal to another dimension (using old tech from Robot) “to see an old friend.” He takes Eve and their children with him through the portal, ending up back in Smallville where a much older Clark Kent resides with his wife, Lois Lane-Kent.
There is a gravestone marked with the names Martha and Jonathan Kent, on which Mark places some flowers as a thank you to them. Clark is the one to see Mark at the gravestone, suspicious at first at the stranger being at his parents’ grave. However, Clark’s suspicion changes to shock as the stranger turns, revealing that it’s Mark. In just a split second, the Viltrumite and the Kryptonian literally fly at each other and the unofficial father-son duo reunite with a bone-crushing hug.
He brings them inside, to which all the kids (mainly older Conner and older Jon) dogpile Mark. Clark is just happy to have Mark back with them, and he even dials up Bruce (who’s alive but officially retired as Batman) and the rest of the Justice League, letting them know excitedly that Mark is back. To say there is a tear-jerking reunion is an understatement.
More DC x Invincible HCs (Dick/Mark)
Out of everyone in the Batfamily, Mark and Dick get along the best. And out of everyone in the Superman family, Mark and Jon get along the most.
Dick and Mark have, on occasion, changed into each other’s suits for fun but it gets confusing because Invincible suddenly can’t fly while Nightwing is soaring through the sky.
Even though Dick and Mark trust each other and see each other as close friends/brothers in a way, Mark still keeps stuff hidden about himself. However, Dick being the son of the Greatest Detective™️, he’s able to find out everything about Invincible.
Because Dick and Mark have big egos (and even bigger butts), they’re always trying to one up each other in the funniest ways possible.
But in all seriousness, Mark is very protective of Dick and vice versa. When Mark is critically injured during a fight, he contacts Dick for help. Dick speeds over (literally, in the Batmobile), and speeds back with Mark just bleeding out.
Once they get to the Batcave, Dick immediately cries for help while Mark’s blood stains his hands.
He stays by Mark’s bed while Mark heals, and refuses to leave Mark’s side after that.
After versions of some of Mark’s enemies find their way to Gotham/Blüdhaven, Dick and Mark team-up to take them down (plus extra help from the Batfamily).
Sorry if it looks rushed. I've been planning for this silly comic for two weeks. I just couldn't stop thinking about them. Should I make a part 2?
