And then, with all the informations you gave them, they now have to choose if it could be enough for them.

I have a lot of thoughts on this so uhhh prepare for spoilers and a rant I guess??
Okay firstly: THANK YOU for more Sam and his family like he's an uncle!! Hell yeah! His sister exists which I'm very glad for! We get a glimpse into Sam for who he is as the protagonist and not just the sidekick, we get a glimpse of backstory, we get to properly meet him for the first time!
Second: Bucky Barnes my beloved-- I miss the hair but I support. Also, Why have Bucky go on a date literally first thing?? To solidify his straightness? That felt totally unnecessary and mocking, in a way?
They killed Steve (whoo boy more on that below) dusted their hands and flaunted this woman like "see? He Stwaight:))" Plus also STOP DIMINISHING WOMEN THAT WAS HER LITERAL ONE ROLE WAS TO BE DATE DID SHE EVEN HAVE A NAME

Okay the death of Steve Rogers in Canon and fanon! :)) I'm incredibly disappointed but uhhh I, like many, support the imposter!Steve headcanon because Endg*me was so out on a limb and wildly horrible I just can't bring myself to accept it.
Okay also the way Sam Wilson handled dealing with the shield I thought was important and fine -- but at the end of the episode (I know it's just a conflict set up but) introducing a new Captain America solidifies that not only did they kill Steven Rogers, they fucking obliterated his entire character and the point of him as a person
He was not just Captain America!! He was Steve before any of that and Christ how could they do him so wrong
And that's all from the first episode so I'm not actually looking forward to this show??? I want to see Sam in his element but I'm worried about Barnes' characterization because he's been such an important character in my life for seven years,,; like an integral part of who I am now so
