I actually prefer the new detectives we met in the Nocturnal Detective Agency over the detective companions we could have gotten from the character trailers we have saw. The NDA are so colorful and lively and has such unique personalities that gives them life and stand out. Yes, the trailer detectives were shown to have personality and uniqueness as well, but the characters gave me off more as fellow workers you would be working with than fun characters you bond and become close friends/a family with.

Listen, if Melami and Iruka were the culprits in their cases, it would have been so much more interesting. The whole thing with Zilch being an imposter and Icardi killing Shachi with that silly ass motive was just so boring.

Like, I feel like Melami being so warm and comforting to Yuma only to drug and betray him would have made the case a bit more interesting, something along the motives of “ he’s just a child, and he’s obviously not supposed to be here, so why not try to get rid of him “ was my hypothesis, because it felt more interesting than “ One of us is an Imposter, and obviously the imposter is a bad guy “ - I think it would have shown more grey area in the game, given more the question we’re wondering by Chapter Five. Who’s really the bad guy ? Are we the bad guys ? I feel like that leaves more room for Yuma to have character development.

And the idea that we already know Iruka is trigger happy really left a lot of room for betrayal in Chapter Three, and it could have had a more compelling motive, such as a heated argument among friends turned deadly. I’m not saying Iruka would want to kill Shachi, quite the opposite, her flaw getting the better of her, only for her to be apologetic in the mystery labyrinth, make Yuma question - is he really doing the right thing ? Is his pact with Shinigami actually beneficial to anyone ? Any time he does question it, it comes out of nowhere and disappears as quickly as it came.

Done with Desuhiko's DLC, Was funnier than it had to be Also anyone thought there were some weird tension between him and Enyne or is that just me? (That marriage purposal really was " Was that a yes?" "it wasn't a No~") Desuhiko really almost outplayed her then Fumbled at the end. never change Desuhiko (Also YAKOU is BACK!)

There definitely was purposeful plotted tension between the two, I feel like everyone could pick up on Desuhiko really liking the chase and Enyne liking to be chased !! It was very silly chemistry and I enjoyed it a lot. 💕✨🥂 I’m still a ClockBolt shipper until I die though, hahaha. 💕✨🥂

I’m dying to know what is Yuma back story when he was number one and before like

1.his profile said he dislikes war(but who doesn’t) but there has be more to why right.

2.how in the world he become number one

3.did he knew the government wanted to make a immortal clone of him,did he agree to do it.

4.How old exactly is he!

5.does he ever use his forte or did he truly solve the mysteries himself.

6. Was he truly a shut in

We got people perspective of number one but that it and are opinions,oh and Makoto is definitely his own person soooo

1. I would definitely figure there is more !! Hopefully they manage to make more, because we were really left with an open ending, I wonder if we see why or we see what’s going on with Yuma, if we learn more about him / however, I wouldn’t mind a game where we have Kurumi or any of the other detectives as protags !! 💕✨🥂

2. Current guesses say that he’s just extremely talented, and I can say that given what we know about Kodaka’s previous works, it’s not completely off the table as an option. Also, I’m sure that once he really got the hang of his forte, it was easy to solve crimes ? Perhaps it’s how he worked his way to the top. That’s just a hypothesis, I’m unsure whether or not you’re looking for answers, because unfortunately, I personally don’t know the truth, but it’s fun to ramble and think about !! ✨

3. Maybe ? It really depends on whether or not the WDO truly dislikes Amaterasu, I would assume, or if they were actually business partners at this point. There’s a lot of nuance to the relationship they both had, as seen through Makoto and Makoto’s existence / position of power. It makes you wonder, was it always like that ?

4. I really wish we knew for sure, because apparently a lot of people find his age to be ambiguous, and that’s part of the reason I’m not to fond over certain Yuma ships as of right now, because I personally interpret him as a minor, but not everyone does, and other people’s interpretations are their own. Regardless, current unbiased opinion is that it’s ambiguous, and up to the consumer to kind of decide. ✨

5. I would say canonically, he does use his forte throughout the game, and I’m sure beforehand, he probably used it a lot as well, but didn’t tell anyone, considering that Yuma is Number One and probably wanted the anonymity for a reason !! ✨

6. He could have not been a shut in, because his forte was so easy to use without making it obvious, and since Number One’s true identity was never public, he probably walked around like a normal person before then, because he’s covered his identity up so much that he was allowed to. 💕✨🥂

But, yes, agreed, I think that Homunculi are clones, but they’re allowed to develop into their own people. One of my favorite AU ideas would be to see the people of Kanai Ward interacting with their homunculi, see how they are truly their own different entities, also I want Yakou back Dammit. 🤣✨🥂

You know my only nit-pick about Ch.5? is that all the detectives got sidelined so much that the game made you thought they were dead

Totally agree, I was super frustrated that we didn’t get anything else with the other detectives in that chapter. 🤠✨🥂

i’m going to stay up thinking about how yuma is almost definitely still a teenager, and makoto is the same age as him technically, and he became ceo of what is basically apple or amazon or whatever, three years before the story starts.

which means the former ceo saw this fucking, idk, thirteen year old, four foot eleven toddler, wearing a halloween mask, and went yeah he can take my job. ok.

i’m obsessed.
