The amount of people doxxing threatening and harassing Techno on Twitter honestly , disappointing I’m really trying not to be mean but when you guys step over someone’s boundaries and just disrespect someone in any sort of way LIKE THIS is just disgusting ,there’s so many ways we can approach this for the people who actually feel hurt by these comments , if you’re not someone who’s been hurt by these comments stop commenting and stop saying only THESE people can comment like - y’all the ones talking over them in the first place ??????
This is not the way to approach anything , some people are just problematic and are just digging for problematic things to throw in someone’s face even though they’ve happened years ago,  why ? Some of you preach and boast about educating when in reality it’s people like you that keep others from learning , making mistakes and showing actual growth.
And for the amount of minorities actually reaching out and giving their well formulated opinion to only be talked over by people who SAY they will support and listen to you , I’m sorry , it must be incredibly disappointing
And as for techno I’m sorry for them amount of rude , ignorant people , no one is allowed to step over your boundaries it’s not fun , it’s uncomfortable and it’s incredibly disheartening
I may not understand why we’re bringing up comments that literally happened years ago but It still doesn’t grant you any permission to act like this

like yeah i get people are upset (not sure how right it is, but there are many opinions), but i thought the tweet he deleted was a comment on schlatt’s villain character? y’know, because it was a comment on a summary of the dsmp that dream said was worth the watch?

There is no should. No one is obligated to be socially or politically active. That is a seventeen year-old Minecraft YouTuber who you set absurd, unrealistic expectations for then subsequently bullied relentlessly until he couldn't handle the pressure anymore.
I've said it on Twitter many times before today, again tonight, and I will say it here as well: harassment isn't activism.
There's a line between gently correcting people who have proven ignorance and demanding that others educate themselves on issues, and mcyttwt somehow crossed both of those into straight up harassing a minor.
"Tommy neg" trended for the second day in a row tonight. This happened while he spoke out about taking a break for the sake of his mental health.
You bullied a kid into therapy and off that platform, and I hope he stays away from there for good.
He is not "avoiding taking accountability" in the slightest. Grow up.
you don’t see selena gomez talking about the shittiness of north korea and it’s autocratic government. you don’t see bts speaking on the issues palestinians are facing right now. you don’t see harry styles talking about income inequality in the united states.
so why are these fucking minecraft youtubers expected to know absolutely everything about every possible problem going on in the world right now as well as being expected to speak on it whenever people bring it up.
half of these people are fucking teenagers who wanted to make content on the internet because it interested them. they aren’t activists. they didn’t sign up to be activists. stop treating them like one.
they are content creators existing to provide content. entertainment. if they want to use their platform that they built to speak on issues that they’re passionate about? great! amazing! but this entire belief that if they don’t speak on something or aren’t educated on a problem means they’re racist or homophobic or transphobic or literally anything else is such a dangerous mindset to have.
content creators are not activists. they don’t owe you anything. it’s great if they feel they are responsible and educated enough to speak on these issues and help people, but expecting them to do anything other than what they’re signed up for, which is creating content for entertainment is a fools dream that shouldn’t be indulged.
you don’t see older fandoms asking their ccs to say “can you please say gay rights?” or asking for their opinion on racial issues.

when you make a post about how content creators shouldn’t be forced to talk about social issues because they exist for entertainment and the twitter threads people send them aren’t good sources of information, make a point that you should look to activists with platforms specifically for that kind of thing and suddenly you’re “masking your racism”

someone has been mistakenly verified by twitter and is targeting ccs with fake dmcas, claiming to be a mojang employee.
here’s the list of who all’s been affected by the false dmca targeting (as far as i know). bold means theyre suspended. italicized means theyve gone private. link goes to affected tweet.
this person seems to be targeting hypixel youtubers, particularly tiredtwt and anyone who is friends with them.
it is INCREDIBLY important that none of these people reply to the dmca or counter it, as they have to provide personal information. this is how some of them are being doxxed.
there may be more ccs affected. i can’t check every cc obviously, and most of these come from a tweet posted by epaxial.
