The rest of my posts about MD ep5 will be tonight (I'm busy today rip) but I can't wait that long to share this one soooo
In the scene where they discover the den of parts in the basement, we see some familiar faces:
On the floor, we can see a head with the teeth from the amalgamation (will be referred to as solver form from now on)
We can also see more solver form heads and a J head in this shot:
And finally, we can see N's entire body with his head next to it in this one:
So clearly, there are multiple of each drone (or at least the one's we're familiar with). This is further backed by Cyn saying that she has "backups" when Tessa says "If that little butler dies for your sake, I swear-"
Either Tessa REALLY likes N, J and V and dresses up multiple drones like them or...
The serial designations could be referring to the model type of each drone, or at the very least different model types exist.
We know there are different models of Disassembly Drones already (there are noticeable differences between N, J and V) so does their model type also determine what wig and clothes they wear?
It's also interesting to note that N, J and V have Worker Drone parts in this episode for the memory sections (V's got WD arms, J has WD legs, N wears a helmet etc). So clearly, they got modifications** before being sent out to disassemble the drones on Copper 9. I'm guessing butlers got recycled into Disassembly Drones rather than making a whole new line of drones.
Also, on the note of there being a dead N in the chair: later on in the episode, Cyn shoves N into the chair, picks up the dead N's head and says "let's reset these memories one more time". N has repetitively discovered something he's not supposed to see (Cyn's solver form*) and had his memories erased.
*Cyn also refers to herself as Solver of the Absolute Fabric (there were other words in there too but I forgot them lol)
We now have Cyn's official (by her standards anyway) title.
**Little note about the modifications that didn't fit elsewhere: they don't have DD headbands here!! Those are their eyes!!! If the digital eyes displayed on their visors are their "real" eyes here, why are they not their real eyes as DDs? Not criticism, just wondering how they see lol

Animation errors, on the otherhand, are super funny-

@projectanomaly talked about how all projections made by Eldritch J had some sort of imperfection (Khan was missing pockets, N didn't hold his gun arm etc)*
The projection of Cyn's "normal" body also has an error!
Cyn's eyes don't glow! This is seen in other scenes too.
This isn't just a lighting thing either! She's right next to N here. His eyes glow, her's don't.
This Cyn isn't real, it's a projection.
(But I think that was obvious)
*This post was edited so that it now includes credit to the person that noticed that holograms have imperfections!
I'll group these two things together for now:
First off, Solver ceiling. Could be something worth analysing but nothing immediately jumps out at me so I'm shoving it into this post about....
The alt Solver symbol we see on the door (which may be drawn in blood?). My screenshot is a frame that doesn't show the red as much but I can assure you that it's red! Whatever it was drawn in also dripped so my bet's on blood.
I don't think we've seen this version of the symbol elsewhere but it might (and probably will) appear in the future so it's definitely something to look out for!
In Cabin Fever (ep4), Uzi accidentally turns the arrow into whatever this is:
V looks traumatized, like she's seen this before.
In ep5, we find out that she HAS seen this before and that's why she's so afraid. Take a look at her hand.
Later into ep4, she calls Uzi "Cyn" and is afraid of Uzi. Cyn is the one that did that to V in the first place.
She's afraid of Uzi because she knows what she is and what she can do and also because someone with the same ability as Uzi previously harmed her. This is also why she seemingly wants to protect N from the Solver and, by extension, Uzi.
Theory time:
What if "Cyn" was never even real? Hear me out.
As discussed in a previous post, Cyn's "normal" body appears to be a hologram and has a defect, like Eldritch J's holograms. In Cyn's case, the eyes don't glow.
What if Cyn is a coverup persona for the Absolute Solver?
Her normal body isn't real and she poorly imitates the others' behaviour. Her movements are weird and unnatural, and her voice is too robotic.
We see Eldritch J have this struggle in Heartbeat. At first, her holograms are glitchy and off, and the voices are robotic. After practicing, she perfects her acting. She nails the voices so they sound correct and the movement is much more normal and convincing.
Cyn, on the other hand, still has these issues. This is because she doesn't have experience. J (might've been someone else, again, goldfish brain) makes a comment about it being N's fault that Cyn was let in to begin with and mentions that she's weird.
This means she was likely weird to begin with so she clearly didn't have practice before ending up at the mansion. She certainly doesn't have much, if any, practice now. There's also the fact that we don't see her make projections of anyone else, meaning that she can likely only make projections of herself with a normal body.
Onto the hologram, her's is defective like J's were. We see her Eldritch form when she talks to Tessa and we can see her body as the main feature. The hologram is likely inspired by the body and since it's right there, she doesn't miss details. She does, however, mess up the eyes.
The eyes don't glow like the others' do, which makes sense because the visor is broken and there's no display. She can take details from the actual body to make the hologram accurate but not that detail specifically, because the visor doesn't work. This is also a detail that the audience can notice is incorrect because we never see Cyn from before she became an Eldritch monster but we are able to compare Cyn to pre-established standards about how a character should look.
My theory is that Cyn is a zombie drone (which is implied in the show anyway) and whoever Cyn was before she became an Eldritch monster died and the body was possessed by the Absolute Solver like J was. Perhaps J's Eldritch situation is a way of giving the viewer some context that can be applied to Cyn....

I feel the need to make a wild theory and see if it comes true so we can all have a funny moment if it becomes canon so:
What if Doll is Cyn and Tessa taking a shot at her at the end of episode 5 was a callback to her shooting at Cyn?
