I FINALLY CANT SORTA DRAW HEINZ
on season 2 eps 1 rick looked at morty first when they fractured time no matter THEY BOTH LOOKED AT MORTY.
One of my fav episodes
Little picnic date ♡♡♡
You ordered a Rick and Morty ask? :p
If applicable, what’s your favorite episode and why?! ✨
Ooh there's so many good ones and for a while I couldn't choose between every episode that was even a smidge Morty-centric (because I'm insane about Morty Primes character specifically), but then Fear no mort came out and I've never recovered, this ain't just recency bias I'm simply so insane about everything that happened, Diane, morty facing the fear of rick not caring (but he DOES CARE 😭) like that scene where he figured out the hole still gives me chills and I also loved the "still in the hole" humor a lot, genuinely my fav and will probably stay that for a while

Mal rambles about Saw traps while they watch the movies
The text for those who want to read it:
The laser collar was interesting, but it was a trap that wasn’t satisfying as it was too quick and didn’t fit with all the other traps in the franchise. I like the angel trap for its brutality and how it was rigged to be unbeatable, but it felt like a double edged sword as it doesn’t follow the same rules as most traps did with giving the target a chance to get out. I get that was the theme of Amanda’s traps, but it wasn’t as satisfying as any of the others. I’d have to say the reverse bear trap, the Venus fly trap, and the pit of needles are my all time favorites. The bear trap is a classic, it was simple, but also a brutal display that relies on the target gutting someone to escape and if they would do that to live. Additionally the huge amount of pressure from the trap opening would be enough to cause fatal damage, and the pain and shock could easily cause a sudden cardiac arrest. The Venus Fly trap is just like the iron maiden version of the bear trap, but with the way to escape requiring you to gouge out and dig into your eye. It’s an ingenious idea. Do you know how it feels like to even take out your own eye without anesthesia? The pit of needles itself isn’t one that is as gory or as complex as the others, but it’s still one of the more disturbing ones. I mean, used needles? Even accounting if the target has doesn’t have a fear of needles it’s still skin crawling to see needles sticking into the skin and nauseating to think that it’s used needles of all things.

Little bonus:
This is something that's been bothering me for a while so I'm gonna post a rant about it. So male abuse victims aren't really shown in the media, I can only think of like 2 that were shown well, which is Hunter from the Owl House and Bojack Horseman from, well, Bojack Horseman. Now I don't watch a lot of TV, but that's still a little in comparison to the female abuse victims I know that were portrayed well. Diane, Adora, Amity (You could agrue that her parents aren't abusive but they do seem emotionally neglectful and that is a form of abuse sooo) Etc., etc., you get the point.
And now we've got Morty, a male abuse victim, and the show just completely ignores his trauma! And it makes me upset! They have this golden opportunity to show a male abuse victim and the effects the abuse has on him, especially since we already see the low self image he has curtesy of Rick, and that he has repressed rage towards Rick, but that's just about all we get. We never see anything more. And it's upsetting, ik the show isn't over yet, they still have 3 more seasons, but I'm just starting to worry. While I love Morty as is, he has so much untapped potential that, if it was unleashed, it would make me love him even more. I just really hope they use Morty more, but I'm scared that they won't explore his trauma because (Credits to @hazelnut-u-out for pointing this out) it would make Rick less sympathetic, since it would be hard to sympathize with an abuser with the effects of their victims being shown, although I would agree Rick could still remain sympathetic since Bojack is sympathetic to many people despite the effects of his horrible actions being shown, I don't sympathize with him but that's for personal reasons.
I just really hope they care less about making Rick sympathetic and more about giving Morty the attention that he deserves and giving our boy justice. What do y'all think?
