The Dumbest/Best Way I’ve Ever Lost A Game

I was playing Don’t Starve Together (a game which can only be summed up as Minecraft but everything wants to kill you) with two of my friends, one of which had to leave the game for a reason I don’t remember. Me and my friend made the mistake of chopping wood in a big foresty area with a lot of trees, in turn summoning a tree guardian. We panic and start planting things to appease it and eventually the tree calms down and goes back to his spot.

B u t t h e n .

He starts chopping trees again.

In the exact same spot.

Waking up the tree guardian AGAIN.

So, while my friend runs to go get food to heal up I decide to let the guardian chase me a bit. (We didn’t have anything to plant) And I cannot fight the tree guardian because

1. I’m Wendy (without Abigail I might add)

2. We hadn’t been playing long enough to make weapons.

If you play DST you probably know that some of the mobs will attack each other (like the pigs and spiders) and with that knowledge my mind goes: “Lead it to the spiders! The spiders will attack them!” Hahaha.

No.

They didn’t.

Immediately the spiders started attacking me.

So I ran- I ran.

Into the hecking tree guardian and died.

It doesn’t end there though.

Because in the process of my friend going to pick up my inventory so I could have it back once he revived me.

He also died.
