Aizawa Shouta was a pro hero, he’s done and seen a lot of things. He’s a hard-ass that has beaten villains so bad that they’ve retired, he’s ripped people’s carreers to shreds, he’s been beaten and near death and still got back up.
He was a stone-cold son of a bitch.
Well, at least, that was what he was trying to tell himself to keep his heart from melting into a puddle.
“Like this, Eri - chan.” Your soft, sweet voice chimed.
Donning a pastel apron, you had Eri on your hip as you carefully cracked an egg into a large bowl.
With her snow white hair pulled back, she looked adorable, even more so while she stuck out her tongue in concentration. Fumbling with the egg, she managed to crack it, taking care not to let the shell fall in.
“I did it!” She squeaked, giggling happily.
Aizawa didn’t know how much of this he could take, it was way too cute.
“Nice job.” Hitoshi praised from the stove, turning around to dispense some eggs on a set plate.
“Now what do we do?” Eri inquired you as you set her down on Mirio’s lap.
“We mix it.” You hummed, lifting the whisk to begin combining what was in the bowl. “Until it comes together like this.”
The little girl gave a small gasp, placing her hands on her cheeks as she quietly asked, “Then we get waffles?”
Mirio chuckled, handing Hitoshi the chopped veggies, bouncing her gently, “Yes, then we get waffles.”
“Oh, morning, old man.” Shinsou greeted, calling attention over to the door with a lazy smile.
“Morning, Papa!” Eri squeaked, eyes sparkling.
“Good morning, Dad.” Mirio gently said with a grin.
You lifted his favorite cat mug, the steam rising from it made it clear it was coffee. “Mornin’ Dad.”
Blinking in confusion, you all watched the man in question turned away and gripping at the frame of the door with one hand.
Fuck, he loved his kids.
His other hand gripped at the front of his shirt, trying to fight the massive grin appearing on his face.
Aizawa Shouta was a pro-hero.
But he was definitely a father first.
