The Unstoppable Wasp (Marvel series)
The Unstoppable Wasp series is my favourite Marvel series, and it is well-written and inspiring!! Nadia is the daughter of Hank Pym (aka. Ant Man) and the adopted daughter of Janet Van Dyne (aka. The Wasp), and she reverse-engineered Pym's shrinking Pym Particles to escape the Red Room! I love that the story is character driven, and the writer Jeremy Whitley (who has written four volumes of the series) writes about the characters in a nuanced and deep way. I've really enjoyed reading this series, and the banter in it is GOLD!! Nadia is one of the kindest and most resilient characters I've ever seen, and she is an inspiration to me!! I started reading issues of this series because of Gurihiru's beautiful art and Nadia's G/T-related superpowers, and I'm so glad I found it!! 😁

I want Nadia Van Dyne to accidentally transport herself into the MCU. Like, shrinks down into her lab, something goes wrong, and when she comes back out, everything is different and she doesn't understand what's happened.
Bc I'm rewatching Falcon and the Winter Soldier, I think it would be v funny if she immediately beelined towards Bucky, hoping for answers (operating under the belief that her dimension has been altered bc of time shenanigans or something and not that she's been dimensionally displaced) but since Bucky has literally just deprogrammed from being The Winter Soldier, it just goes:
Nadia: BUCKY, BUCKY, BUCKY, YOU GOTTA HELP ME!! Sam: Do you... know her? Bucky: No. Nadia, laughing: That's a joke, right? You kidnapped me as a baby and handed me to the Red Room, man. Its the oldest memory I have. And now I need your help. Bucky: *having a crisis*

Imagine Nadia meeting the mcu Hank Pym and Janet .
She definitely thinks that Earth-19999 Janet is not as cool as her Janet lmaooo
Finds out what she's like here and just goes "Janet got de-yassified 😭😭😭"
But Nadia's still ready to go to bat for this woman, and minutes into the first meeting and she's interrogating Janet about Hank's treatment of her "Does he hit you?? Are you okay??? I've never killed anyone but I have all the training for it, just say the word."
But in a vacuum, outside of the abuse of her stepmother (? Idk how to describe her relationship w Janet), this version of Hank will make her feel... sad, I think.
There are a lot of thoughts I have to explain this, but without getting into a rant, Nadia is confronted with a reality where Hank is alive. And there. And not a murderous robot.
This could've been her life. When she had thought about her father in the Red Room, this was the man she thought about. But it isn't hers.
And that's really sad, I think.

tim drake and nadia van dyne would get along great I feel like and this would either be a good thing or a terrible thing.
on the one hand, nadia is really good at getting people to recognize their own worth and taking care of them, and that's something that tim could probably use. and tim is, well, tim. he's a good leader, he's good with people, and nadia might need a break from being the leader so much. they tend to be "on" a lot of the time, and maybe having someone else who feels that pressure is some useful solidarity.
on the other hand, nadia has manic episodes in which she tries desperately to fix everyone around her, and tim is also completely obsessive about fixing things and finding answers. nadia built a tiny microverse lab in a necklace so she could get more done in less time. tim lost his spleen and bled out in the desert and didn't tell anyone. they are both not the healthiest in terms of work ethic! and they would absolutely make each other spiral.
