She will always support you and your decisions no matter what, so she helped you hide your relationship
Of course, it’s the perfect scheme, your parents just think she’s going to your room to do girly stuff when she comes over
But you’re actually making out
Nene despises your parents and she has always wished you could have been born with better ones that do support you
One day, she heard an extremely homophobic comment from one of your parents, but not directed towards you
She told you she was having a hard time accepting this stuff from her own girlfriend’s parents
She will go to your house to confront your parents
She’ll yell and scream as much as she has to
Nene will also bring up how terrible your parents have made your life to them, even bringing up the multiple times you’ve wanted to harm yourself because you feel so alienated in your family
Afterwards, she helps you move into her house because she absolutely cannot let you live in that toxicity anymore
Once you’ve moved into her house she’ll make sure you never have to deal with anymore hate or homophobic people anymore

It had been countless days since you had talked with Nene. All it had been was, “Emu this, Wonder Stage that.” You were sick and tired of it.
“(Name).” She said, opening the door to the rooftop.
“Nene.” You replied, a gloomy look on your face.
“Are you alright? You look tired. Have you been eating enough lately?” She asked you, stepping closer.
You took a step back. “We need to talk.”
“I know, you told me. What about?” She cocked her head, smiling softly. “I’ve missed-”
“I think we should break up.”
She looked mortified. “What? I-I… I still love you, I… Please… What did I do wrong..?”
“Why weren't you there when I needed you?”
She breathed in a small gasp. She seemed to be holding back tears. “Y-you don’t understand… I wanted to be there, I really did… But things just got really busy, and… Y’know… I just didn’t have time…”
“Save it, Nene. Please.”
“No!” She snapped. “Even if I wasn’t able to be there for you then, I want to now! So please, please, (name)... Give me just one more chance!”
You found yourself unable to stop tears as the words left her lips, so Nene knowingly opened her arms. You crashed into her open arms, starting to cry softly. “I-I’m sorry, Nene… I didn’t realize-”
“Save it, (name).” She said in a soft, shaky voice. “I’m here now.”
Silently, you savored each other's presence, and your relationship survived another day.
