Hi-Hi!! Thank you for waiting, I swear I didn't get my head cut off and please enjoy part two!
Warnings!: a little long, mentions of death and murder, written on 3h of sleep
Feat!: detective/char Rui Kamishiro x writer gn!reader
You could notice the once warm air become cold. The breaths you took became sharp, almost impossible to inhale... The flowers' smell intensified.. it was sweet.. nauseatingly sweet. It made your head spin without stopping. What were you supposed to say? That you created that whole world and everything was just your imagination?! There must be another way.. right..? You closed your eyes... Trying to think of an excuse, but what could that excuse be?! You knew everything about the novel you were in.. you wrote it after all...
"I'm just.. good at reading people. That person is either the culprit in this case.. or at least feels guilty."
You clarified calmly.. even so your tone continued to betray a hint of uncertainty. Praying the detective boy will believe you, a small smile inhabiting your lips.
Rui's eyebrows furrow slightly, not really biting, yet he had no other choice. He stared you then sighed quietly and glanced at the victim's ghost, who just noded, agreeing to your last statement.
"Hmm... That is.. unexpected to say the least..."
The detective muttered, as his eyes subtily darted at the supposed criminal, to making sure he wasn't going to escape from the crime scene.
Even if you were believed.. why were you still nervous? Why did it feel like you couldn't exhail that honey sweet air? You mentained your eyes barely open as an attempt to collect your thoughts. As you pondered, Rui approaches the uneasy culprit. The soft gusts of wind murmured a tune only by them knew. The song intertwined itself with fragments of sun golden of colour. A melody as indescribably pleasant as they ears were more than blessed to have bestowed upon them, brought into existence by the orchestra of the everliving and forever ageless mother nature, could have stolen even the hearts of stone of many.
Who knew that fictional characters could do the same for their creators?— FOR THE SECOND TIME; PARDON?! It must be a mistake! Did Foxglove add the wrong part?! You must have felt warm because of.. uhh.. the beautiful scenery -which was written to your heart's desire, you created it after all-! Not because of some purple haired protagonist!... right..? Yet.. maybe.. just maybe.. no... It couldn't be.. that would be silly wouldn't it..? To feel that way towards a person made of pretty words and forgotten standards?
Before your thoughts could get the ability suffocate your mind once more in such a short time span, out of seemingly nowhere the silence was sliced.
"Such a shame that someone had to lose their life here... So many dreams that shattered..."
Declared the young man in a saddened voice, the situation not pleasing him, but can he be blamed? Who would be happy of someone's death? You remained drowned in silence, but slowly nod. After a while you attempt to add your contribution to the conversation, as if history repeated itself, the world felt foggy and unclear. The sapphire and cloudless sky began to melt into the trees. You desperately attempt to keep your eyes open, to keep Rui in your sight. But now, the detective ,who you last saw clearly while he walked towards the culprit to recite their rights, faded into the scenery. And the once gorgeous world of your novel turns into nothing but endless darkness. In this never ending void a thread of golden light pried your eyes open. Through the blinds the ray snaked it's way upon your unconscious face. Ah, how your heart aimlessly began to beg to go back. Glancing at the pages on which you have rested in a slumber with inexistent sound glazed, to the sky your eyebrows raise upon seeing your very own name get added to the action of the story. In an act still not fully conscious, you grabbed the pen, it's ink now dry and unevenly distributied. Shaky was your hand as to the page you selfishly added one more sentence, though incoherent with the actions previous to it in the story, made and inexplicable warmth fill your sleepy heart.... [Y/N] and Rui kissed.
