“Will I get any rest if I stay?” Xichen retorts, with a raised eyebrow and light smile.
“Xichen, you may get anything you desire,” replies Mingjue, the name a caress on his lips.
On the other side of the table covered in maps and campaign orders, Jiang Cheng leans over to Nie Huaisang and whispers incredulously, “Do they think they’re being subtle?”
A sigh. “I think they do.”
“Are they ever?”
The voice that comes from behind Jiang Cheng is one he hears so rarely, he almost doesn’t recognize it.

I just realized that Lan Xichen was able to identify Nie Mingjue’s body when it A. Had no clothes and B. Had no head.
I want to know just how acquainted Lan Xichen was with Da-ge’s tits to be able to identify him from his torso alone.
