everything around us is a lie. 1/100 times you meet a decent human and that too for a particular transaction

the most clean image good person you know can have the worst personal life behind the scenes

emotional abuse is so normalized that we dont even consider its impact on our psyche and self esteem. ever since I realized this, have distanced myself from music movies drama TV shows meme communities

success stories are highly curated. the author rarely remembers the bad days and success is more like walking in the dark with blindfolds but taking right turns anyhow

expectations lead to disappointment. external validation is a scam. never expect love or respect or anything from anyone. if someone shows you a lot of love, beware they are manipulating you

I dont know how much of this applies to others because a lot of people do actually have comfortable life themes so they will think I am being unnecessarily dark and gloomy. Me being an 8th house native have been through some shady sides of life. it was not a good ride but it did tell me a lot about the world around me.

we just dont expect anything bad will happen to us until it actually does happen. it didnt happen to our friends or loved ones, so it is not our concern. our brains are wired to be optimistic but life themes are crazy.
