Thank you for the ask, @ray-writes-n-shit!!! Yay, I love to talk about Jack Tithus so here we go!

💚 - What is your OC’s gender identity and sexuality?

Jack's gender identification is male, (his pronouns are he/him) and his sexuality is Asexual. Later on in the story, he has a romantic relationship with a girl named Lyorna Alyrii, whom he loves very much. By the way, his first ever long-term romantic relationship was the one he developed with Lyorna!

🍎 - What is the OC’s relationship w/their parents like?

Jack's relationship with his parents was pretty good. They died a long time ago when he was a kid, and Jack became the only living guardian of his younger sister, Cassiopeia.

While he loved both of their parents very much, Jack was especially close to their Mom, who was a very clever young woman and one of the best pilots he ever met. His taste in music is something he strongly inherited from her, as well as his piloting talents. Meanwhile, Cassiopeia - who was a toddler at the time - had a stronger bond with their Dad, and subconsciously takes after some of his fiery/witty personality to this day.

Their parents were - as far as he knows - killed by Junction officers for trying to aid an Ivionian insurgency movement.

Because I want an excuse to ramble on about this WIP some more, I'm gonna also answer those same questions for the character of Noctus, who serves as an antihero and reluctant ally to the MCs in the story!

💚 - What is your OC’s gender identity and sexuality?

Noctus's gender identity is male (he/him), and he is homosexual/gay. Due to the nature of his job as a secret agent, he hasn't really had the chance to date people and find out more about his romantic desires, so that's the extent of his knowledge of his sexuality as of the beginning of the story.

🍎 - What is the OC’s relationship w/their parents like?

Noctus did not have parents, he grew up in a lab. His true memories of his time "under experiments" were long since wiped so as not to hinder his efficiency in his missions, so he only remembers the parts that the Junction wants him to remember - which is enough for him to have some sense of "self" but not enough to know the full truth about himself. He does have one long-lost relative... which is a HUGE spoiler for the turning point of his character arc (:

🍕 - What is their favorite food?

Jack Tithus - He doesn't really have a Top 1 favorite food - as he grew up with the habit of simply eating what he could get, and being picky wasn't really an option. However, the closest thing he has to a favorite food, which is a dish he really likes, is the fish stick sandwiches mentioned in this post. His all-time favorite beverage is Hot Chocolate!!!!

Deimos Soll - His species needs a high-protein intake, so Deimos naturally gravitates to dishes that have some kind of meat. His favorite food is double hamburgers with blue asterberry bread, bacon, and cheese. He prefers to drink sodas, coffee, or energy drinks. He also has a strong distaste/disgust toward salads.

Vesper Foxx - She would like you to believe that she 'has no interest in such trivial things' but she does have a favorite food - pepperoni pizza followed by a molten chocolate cake.

Cassiopeia Tithus - She's a bit more of a picky eater than Jack, but shares a similar favorite food with him - she likes those fish stick sandwiches quite a lot. Another favorite food of hers is fried pocket tarts with string cheese filling. Her favorite drink is berry juice.

Aleks Keldora - Aleks adores his mothers' cooking. They are incredibly talented cooks and make mouth-wateringly tasty dishes, which are - in his opinion - as close to perfect as they can get. He especially likes their mixed-vegetable stew with wandering -quail roast. He also likes their cakes, especially the fruit ones.

What emotion is the hardest for your OC to process? How about express?

I'll go with the cast of Supernova Initiative for this one! Since I wanna do something different/unique and I love using songs to inspire myself when it comes to writing characters, I'll link some of those songs to illustrate my answers! (:

Jack Tithus:

Hardest to process: Betrayal. Jack is an extremely loyal friend, and though he is no stranger to betrayal and people who screw others over, his knee-jerk reaction to these kinds of situations - especially when the betrayal comes from a friend rather than a stranger - is to think "what did I do wrong?". Like, he considers it a failure on his part to not have noticed something like that was about to happen.

Hardest to express: Vulnerability. Jack is a very self-sacrificial guy, who tends to be rather stoic about his true feelings and how much he is suffering, for the sake of keeping his sister happy and his friend's sake. He's very good at pretending everything is okay and maintaining his usual unfazed, charming, and happy self, and feels like a burden whenever he needs to ask for help.

I think that a song that illustrates this aspect of Jack's personality very well is Strong For Somebody Else by Citizen Soldier.

Deimos Soll

Hardest to process: Shame. Deimos has a serious low self-esteem issue, which he masks behind an aura of arrogance. His feelings of low self-worth have haunted him since he was a kid. Due to his past traumas, Deimos is terrified of failure, which also makes him terrified of the feelings of shame that are tied to failure - he is viscerally terrified of humiliation. He is a perfectionist and strives to be the best at every single thing he does, and misguidedly thinks that if he "can't remain the best" then he "isn't worth anything at all".

I think two songs that fit this facet of his very well are Gladiator by Jann and Shame! Shame! Shame! by Reinaeiry

(Gladiator) "I know your addiction's attention, let's start a show Is it everything and more than you were hoping for? Show us something we ain't never seen before Smash your competition, baby Show us some good entertainment Victory's your only payment Gladiator, gladiator"

(Shame! Shame! Shame!) "Where does it end And where do I begin? Is there something to blame? At the end of the day The end result's the same Oh, Shame! Shame! Shame! Keep it to yourself Don't sully the family name"

Hardest to express: Remorse. Partially due to his extreme perfectionism, Deimos has an unfortunate tendency to get defensive whenever he does something wrong - it's an unconscious impulse, practically. He doesn't like to admit something that went wrong is his fault because that would mean he did something imperfectly or that he made a mistake, which then circles back to those feelings of shame he dreads.

Kye Thalax

Hardest to process: Lack of Control/Frustration. Kye doesn't like when things don't go his way, nor does he like when a situation is out of his control. He's been deprived of feelings of agency for so long, that now that he has that agency he doesn't want to lose it ever again. This means he can often be quite frazzled with trying to keep everything within the range of what he can control because chaos - as far as he knows - only means pain. This also makes him incredibly easy to frustrate as he is dealing with too many things at the same time and neglects the management of his own feelings. I think the song Control by Halsey, fits this side of his personality quite a lot.

(Control) "I can't help this awful energy Goddamn right, you should be scared of me Who is in control? I paced around for hours on empty I jumped at the slightest of sounds And I couldn't stand the person inside me I turned all the mirrors around"

Hardest to express: Affection. It's not that he's not a good person. Deep down he is. He has empathy and secretly cares more than he realizes. But he is a bit emotionally stunted and paranoid that everyone who gets close to him is going to hurt him eventually and that it's only a matter of time before he is betrayed. So he has developed a prickly personality that lashes out at the first sign of trouble in order to not risk trusting the wrong person again. This also means that, for most of his interactions, he can be quite superficial, petty, and often selfish - until he realizes he actually does care for the person he is interacting with, which takes a long while. He yearns for affection and attention but does not know how to verbalize that need out of fear of being used or betrayed. Living Hell by Bella Poarch

A charming and rebellious intergalactic thief, Jack is currently the most wanted man in all of the Junction planetary systems. Using heists as a tool to stand up against their galaxy's oppressive government, he has gained quite a reputation. Otherwise, Jack is a caring older brother and a good friend, someone who would do anything to keep his loved ones out of harm's way, even if it means endangering himself.

Current Role - Protagonist, and part of the main cast

Appearance - Jack has bright auburn hair styled into an asymmetrical bob with an undercut. His skin is warm white, and he has a small scar on the bridge of his nose from a gunfire that nicked him. He has average height - around 173 cm tall - and a lithe, but athletic, build. His eyes are dark brown and he has a kind smile. Usually, he wears practical clothes - his usual attire consists of a simple T-shirt, a synthetic leather pilot jacket, cargo pants, and boots. He also always wears the trinket necklace Cassie - his younger sister - made for him some years ago.

Seven lines from Supernova Initiative!

The girl, a young woman around his age, with curved horns stopped by the glass entrance to the chambers, "My parents don't want our people to get involved in this war. But they don't see that the war is already here."

She shakes her head, a thick accent painting her words in uniquely, gravelly, and warbling, but yet soft and melodious. It seems like a voice made to be spoken underwater.

"I will help you guys - because Thalassen needs to remain independent." The girl declares, with a decisive liveliness to her words. She pressed a sequence of buttons on the chamber's outer wall, and the double glass doors slid open.

Inside, Jack and his crew still watched, practically dumbfounded, as she beckoned them forward, "Now, shall we?"

Jack looked at her, then back at his friends, with a breathless chuckle, still not moving from where he was standing, "Alright, but who are you...?"

The girl smiled, sharp like rows upon rows of tiny shark teeth, "I'm Lyorna." She paused, then suddenly squeaked as if she'd forgotten a little detail. "The Admiral's daughter and all that. What about you, stranger?"

"I'm just a thief." Jack stammered, as a sea of hushed whispers and gasps coming from his friends at the fact that they were meeting such an important figurehead's daughter. "O-oh, and my name is Jack. Jack Tithus."

He quickly added, and the girl's - Lyorna - joyous smile increased only just slightly, apparently oblivious to his crew's momentary whispering. Something in her wide-eyed stare, like big pools of dark blue ink, told them she seemed somehow amused or had found the exchange endearing.

She extended a webbed hand towards him, "Nice to meet you, just-a-thief." Lyorna poked fun at his earlier slip up as they shook hands, with a wink, "Now let's go, before Papa finds out and feeds you to the Kherllar out in the Ocean."
