haikyuu as things the kids i babysit say #4 (i think)-

ok they didn’t really say this, but they have this plastic toy horse thing that is big enough to ride, and i noticed that the paint for the eyes was gone. i asked them about how that happened, and they said that they sprayed too much sunscreen on his eyes and it just wiped off.

that is totally an Omi thing to do, but with cleaning stuff instead of sunscreen.

and just like them, he absolutely does not feel bad about it.

warm water runs down your back and you sigh contently. running the body wash over your body, you finally relax and scrub away the long day.

suddenly the door the bathroom opens. you poke your head out of the curtain to see your boyfriend standing on the rug awkwardly.

"omi? what are you doing, honey?"

"i um... can i shower with you? just... long practice and- and i wanna be close to you," he trails off with a gulp. your eyes soften and smile.

"'course, c'mon in."

he smiles and quickly sheds his clothes and steps in with you. though it's a bit cramped, you can't complain, being close to kiyoomi after a long day is one of your favorite things.

you turn back around hand him the soap.

"wash my back?"

seconds later his hands are kneading your tense muscles, spreading soap down your sides and shoulders.

you face him when he's done.

"lemme wash your hair, kay?"

he nods, passing you his lemony shampoo. you squeeze some into your hands and began to thread your fingers through his curls, making surr to kather his head sufficiently. just as you were about to rinse his hair, you meet his eyes. an emotion that's almost indescribable fills them.

"what is it?"

"nothing... it's just... you're the most beautiful person i've ever met."

your eyes widen and you can feel your cheeks heat up.

"you- you can't just say things like that," you stutter, swallowing as you turn away. he chuckles and brings his hand up to your chin, turning your face so you're looking at him.

"i'm just being honest. you're perfect. in every single way, you are perfect."
