A Setting Sun || Tommy Shelby x fem!reader
Masterlist

Summary: The sunset is a beautiful sight for you and Tommy Warnings: none
Word count: 720
Author: Bear

On the horizon, a red and gold sunset blossomed.
With your hand safely tucked under his shoulder, Tommy watched the redness cover the sky as it darkened with each passing minute.
You walked arm-in-arm with Tommy Shelby, the leader of the notorious Peaky Blinders gang, through the chilly winter park. You were both bundled up in thick coats, gloves, and hats to ward off the biting cold. Despite the weather, you felt your heart warm at the sight of the sunset that lay ahead of you.
Keeping your voice soft as you improved the scarf around your neck, you asked, "It's beautiful, isn't it?"
Tommy replied with a short nod of his head, omitting unnecessary words in the process.
As you entered the park, the sun was just beginning to dip below the horizon, casting a warm orange glow over everything. The sky was a canvas of pink, orange, and gold, painted by the setting sun. The bare trees that lined the park were silhouetted against the colorful sky, their branches reaching out like delicate fingers.
Tommy led you to a quiet corner of the park, where you could watch the sunset in peace. You couldn't help but shiver as the cold air whipped around you, but you felt grateful to be sharing the moment with Tommy. You huddled close together, watching the sky turn from orange to pink to a deep, moody purple.
"While I wouldn't consider myself romantic, I love how the hues change ever so slowly," he said out of the blue, his eyes fixed on the horizon line.
"Yes, you're right, love," you whispered somberly, resting your head on his shoulder and watching the sun slowly sink beneath the horizon.
As the sun sank lower and lower, the colors in the sky intensified, the clouds reflecting the fiery hues of the setting sun. You felt a sense of peace wash over you, as though all the troubles of the world had melted away. You were content to simply be with Tommy, watching the winter sunset with him by your side, without speaking any meaningless words. As you knew, he was rather a strong silent type, but you didn't mind it at all; in the end, you fell for his personality.
Tommy looked down at you, his eyes softening as he took in your beauty. He brushed a strand of hair out of your face, his touch gentle and tender. "Happy Valentine's Day," he whispered, his voice low and husky.
You smiled up at him, your heart swelling with love. "It's perfect," you said. "Thank you for bringing me here."
"I love you," Tommy told you, gently kissing your right cheek and slowly caressing your back.
The strong scent of his cologne lingered over your nose as you replied, "I love you too, darling."
Tommy smiled back at you, a hint of mischief in his eyes. "I have another surprise for you," he said. "But first, let's enjoy this moment together."
You watched the winter sunset together in silence, the only sound the gentle rustling of leaves in the wind. As the last sliver of sun disappeared below the horizon, you felt a sense of sadness wash over you. You didn't want the moment to end, but you knew that with Tommy, there was always something exciting waiting around the corner.
As you looked at him with a spark of curiosity in your eyes, you said, "You said you had something more prepared."
A little nod came from Tommy and he glanced at you. "Are you really interested in knowing?"
"Of course I am!" You patted his shoulder and straightened your back.
Tommy's lips twitched just enough to show he was enjoying his thoughts, whatever they were. His senses were heightened by your proximity, but he remained silent, allowing himself to be lost in the moment for a little longer. Tommy turned to you, his eyes dark and intense. "Let's get out of here then," he offered, his tone nothing but a whisper in the darkness. "I'm taking you to a fancy dinner and we can continue our Valentine's Day evening at home later."
You felt a shiver of excitement run down your spine. You knew that with Tommy, anything was possible. Together, you walked hand in hand into the night, ready for whatever adventures lay ahead.

Chocolates || Keigo Takami x fem!reader

Summary: As the second most popular hero in Japan, Hawks receives numerous Valentine's Day gifts, which can make you feel a bit uncertain about the gift you've chosen for him.
Warnings: None
Word count: 1110
Authors: Cass & Fenrir

It was hard to believe. Your day was spent making your own chocolate for Keigo, but here you were facing your flat's doors, staring at the mountain of gifts. It's kind of what you expected. It was Valentine's Day and your man was the number two hero in all of Japan, so of course everyone sent him gifts. The majority of them look more expensive than yours. And to make matters worse, he appeared quite happy and amused by this fact.
While slowly moving the boxes inside the flat, he asked, "Can you see those?" His voice was filled with happiness. "People truly love me and those are the only perks of being number two that I can adapt to," he joked, but stopped, watching your rather unhappy expression. "What? Aren't you happy?"
As you looked at the boxes, you felt more and more ashamed. As you shifted your bag onto your back, you fake smiled at him. "As a matter of fact, my boyfriend is the second-best hero."
A smug smile crossed his lips as he agreed. "That's true."
As soon as Hawks finished moving all the packages into the flat, he closed the door and began peering through them to see what he had received. "Look at that, Y/N! I think we will have chocolate for half a year."
Before reading the card aloud, you muttered, "Well...," and looked at one of the boxes. "For my one and only hero. Oh, how cute."
He approached you, smiled a little too triumphantly, and put his arm around your shoulders. "Hey, smile at me. The fact they are all addressed to me doesn't change the fact I am sharing them with my one and only girl."
You cringed a bit. "C'mon, they're all yours. Girls sent them to their beloved Hawks, not Hawks and his girlfriend. In all honesty, I am jealous."
"My babyboo is jealous of me!" He mused and kissed your cheek.
"How could I not?!" You demanded, angrily. "Look at those! Some of those are more expensive than what I made."
"And what did you get for me on the occasion of Valentine's Day?"
With a sigh, you glanced at the boxes again and thought, "I got you something nice, but as I look at all the gifts, it does not seem that pleasant anymore. Since I'm tired, I'm going to the bedroom."
"Come on, before that, I want to see what did you get for me, I'm more than sure it's something fancy and beautiful."
As you sigh, you reached into your bag and pulled out a nice, hand-made box. "Today, I went to my best friend's house and she was making chocolates for her man. I decided to try it too."
To examine the box, he drew nearer. "Is there chocolate inside?"
"No. I made you a box to keep all those feathers you lose every day," you replied sarcastically. "Of course it's chocolate inside, sweetie. What else could it be?”
Keigo chuckled while tapping your nose with his gloved palm despite the sarcasm in your tone. "Perhaps an engagement ring? Since I am aware of your openness, I believe I can expect anything from you. You know I love sweets, but because there's chocolate in, I'm even happier, even though you're the sweetest candy of them all."
You rolled your eyes, groaning and crossing your arms over your chest as you blushed. "In this pile of fan mail, there must be an engagement ring somewhere, I bet."
"Good. We can sell it then!"
Then you burst into laughter, covering your mouth in delight.
"What!"
"Nothing! Just... It will be weird if a pro suddenly starts selling engagement rings," you laughed and turned your attention to him. "Let's change, and we can eat those chocolates on the balcony. I'm curious and scared to see how they turn out."
"I believe they'll be delicious, but I don't know if you should eat them.”
"And why is that?” You raised an eyebrow curiously.
He took hold of your plan and brought it to his lips, kissing it. "You are aware of my affection for you. And while eating chocolate can help your brain produce endorphins, it can also lead you to gain weight. I'm just worried about your well-being."
With your eye twitching from anger, you commented, "I'm afraid I may end up in jail for murdering Japan's number two. Are you trying to say that I am fat, and you don't want me to gain even more weight?”
"You said that you're fat," he commented with a shrug. "I didn't say anything about you being too big."
Frowning, you grabbed the box from him. "I'll send those to Jeanist or even better, Endeavor himself. I'm sure he'll love them," you smiled at him. I don't want my favorite bird boy to get too heavy to fly. I'm just worried about your health and well-being," you mocked back.
"Ey! Give me my chocolate back!"
"My one and only hero needs to stay in tip-top shape!" You shrugged. "That means no chocolate for ya."
Keigo rushed for one of the boxes he had been given, opened it, and crammed a number of chocolate pralines into his mouth.
"It was obvious that you liked those more than mine," you sighed sadly. "Oh, well. It's time to change my boyfriend."
"So give me my gift back. I want to judge myself."
As you showed him your tongue, you said, "Okay... But I need a kiss in return."
He inhaled deeply, swallowed the pralines, and then walked over to give you a quick kiss on the lips. "Would you kindly let me in on a little secret right now? Did you add salty caramel to the chocolate you made? Tell me you did."
You shrugged with a cocky smile. "It may have happened, or it may not have happened. I think you'll need to find out for yourself, baby."
He snatched the box out of your hands and stuffed his mouth with two pieces of chocolate. A loud hum soon followed.
"Do you like it?" You walked up and took one for yourself..
"Aaaahhmmm mhhmm," he hummed, enjoying the salty taste spilling over his tongue.
You kissed his cheek, giggling. "Even I am happy now that they are excellent."
"Good? They're flawlessly fantastic."
You smiled and ruffled his messy hair, resting your head on his shoulder. "Happy Valentine's Day, Big Bird."
He ran the tip of his tongue along his lips, then planted a brief kiss on your cheek. "Okay. So now! While watching TV, let's examine the other chocolates I've received. Both of us merit some sweetness. Sweet Valentine's, honey."

Floral Hair Adornments || Ao’nung x fem!Omaticaya reader

Summary: You braid Ao'nung's hair, though at first he is hesitant about the idea. However, as you work on his hair, he comes to appreciate the result and is pleased with the outcome

A/N: prior to reading, it’s important to know that: the reader is female Omaticaya ✤ today’s prompt: putting flowers in their hair

As a member of the Omaticaya clan, you had a deep respect for the ways of your people. When you joined Jake Sully and his family in the journey to the Metkayina clan as they fled to seek refuge, you knew that it would be a challenge to understand the reef clan customs.
____________________________
The air was thick with the sounds of the sea, the chirping of insects and the calls of strange animals echoing in the distance. As you made your way through dunes covered with lush unspoiled vegetation, you couldn't help but feel drawn to the coast.
The Metkayina clan was known for their love for the sea, and you were curious about their way of life. You had heard many stories about the reef people, about how they lived in harmony with the ocean and the creatures that called it home. As you approached the shore, you saw a group of young Metkayina men gathered around a fire, laughing and joking with each other.
One of them caught your eye. His name was Ao'nung, and he was the chief’s son. He was unlike any other Metkayina you had ever seen. He was brash and overconfident, always pushing his limits and testing the boundaries of his abilities. Ao'nung was also known for his arrogance and rough demeanor, and he had a reputation for being disrespectful to others.
As you approached the group, Rotxo, a close friend of Ao'nung, noticed you and leaned towards one of the other boys to whisper something. Soon, a burst of loud laughter erupted from the group.
Curiously, you asked, "What are you laughing at?" Though, deep down, you knew they were likely mocking your appearance.
"Look at her skinny tail, it's like a twig," one of Ao’nung’s friends said, gesturing with his hands.
"Yeah, and her legs and hands are so thin, useless," another chimed in, laughing while giving you a cold glance.
You tried to brush off their comments, but it left a sour taste in your mouth. You couldn't understand why they found it amusing to mock someone's appearance like that. “Ha-ha. Your current behavior is quite amusing. Were you not taught that making fun of others is impolite? Perhaps it's not something you can understand with your limited intellectual capacity, though…” You commented bitterly, slowly raising one of your brows.
As you spoke to him, the young boy felt his cheeks flushing with anger. How dare you pick on him, he thought. He clenched his fists and tightened his jaw, trying to hold back his emotions, but it was no use. "What's your problem?" He snapped at you, his voice laced with bitterness.
After glancing around and stopping your glance briefly at Ao'nung, you spoke up, "You started this, and there's no reason to be so unkind to me." You then turned and left, walking along the shore and letting the little waves bathe your blue feet, knowing there was no use in sticking around with young Metkayina boys. As you walked away from Ao'nung and his friends, you felt hurt and upset by their cruel words. However, you didn't expect to see Ao'nung following you shortly after.
"I'm sorry," he said quietly, looking down at the sand after lining up with you. "I didn't mean to hurt you. My friends can be harsh sometimes, and I should have stopped them."
You were surprised to hear him apologize, but also felt a sense of relief that someone from the group seemed to care. You replied, giving him a brief glance, saying "It's fine, really. I've gotten used to the mocking."
Ao'nung couldn't help but feel a sense of guilt gnawing at him as he reflected on his past behavior. He had been so cruel, mocking not only the way you looked but also Sully's siblings. He could remember the way you had looked at him, hurt and defeated, and he couldn't shake the feeling of regret. He knew that he had been in the wrong, and he wished that he could turn back time and make things right. The memory of your brief glance made him cringe, and he couldn't help but feel like a monster for making you feel that way. “Listen, Y/N, can we start all over?”
You stopped in your tracks and placed your hands on your hips, giving him a withering look. "Are you seriously asking me to forget everything that was said? You were absolutely horrible, not only to me but especially to Kiri and Lo'ak. But, I don't like to hold a grudge, so we can give it a shot."
Ao'nung turned to you, a glint of curiosity in his eyes. "Tell me more about yourself then," he said, a hint of eagerness in his voice.
You raised an eyebrow, slightly surprised by his sudden interest. "What do you want to know? And are you seriously going to leave your pals behind?"
"Everything, and yeah, I bet they can hang out a little without me," he replied, a grin spreading across his face. "What do you like to do? What do you dream about?”
You hesitated for a moment, not used to opening up to strangers. But there was something about Ao'nung's expression that made you feel comfortable, so you began to share your interests and aspirations.
As you talked, he listened intently, his eyes bright with fascination. It was a refreshing change from the teasing and mocking you had experienced earlier, and you found yourself warming up to him.
When you finished speaking, Ao'nung smiled. "You're really something," he said. "I hope I can get to know you better."
“Maybe,” you replied a little softer than you intended. As you walked along the dune near the shore, you couldn't help but admire the beautiful wildflowers growing in the sand. They were bright and vibrant, contrasting with the neutral colors of the dune. You felt a strong desire to pick some of them up and take them with you. You turned to Ao'nung, eager to share your admiration of the flowers with him. "Look at these flowers! They're so beautiful, aren't they?"
Ao'nung glanced at the plants, but didn't seem to share your enthusiasm. "I guess they're okay," he said, shrugging his shoulders.
You couldn't understand how he wasn't mesmerized by their beauty. "Don't you think they would make a great decoration for our homes?"
Ao'nung shook his head. "I think it's a little silly to pick flowers just for decoration. They belong here, in the wild, where they can grow and thrive."
You realized that he had a point, but you still couldn't help but feel a little disappointed. The flowers were just so lovely, and you wanted to take a piece of that beauty with you. "Can I braid your hair?" You asked suddenly, a little shyly.
Ao'nung's eyes widened in surprise, and then he burst out laughing. "Braid my hair? That's not necessary and a little ridiculous!" He exclaimed, rolling his eyes a little.
You gave him a look. "It's not ridiculous," you said. "You owe me something after all, for the mocking you used on me. And I would be happy to braid your hair, if you'll let me. Perhaps I could completely put the past behind us and give you the opportunity to know me better.”
Ao'nung hesitated for a moment, then he shrugged. "Fine, but don't expect me to like it."
You picked two plants and apologized to Eywa for picking them without a particular purpose. Then, you turned to Ao'nung and as he sat down on the sand, and knelt behind him, carefully undoing his hair and slowly brushing it with your long, thin fingers. You braided Ao'nung's hair with skill and precision, weaving the strands in a beautiful pattern. As you finished, you delicately placed the two flowers you had picked earlier into his hair, creating a stunning adornment. “There. It looks good! Check it out, if you want.”
Ao'nung was hesitant at first, not used to wearing flowers in his hair, but he trusted you and let you work your magic. When he looked at his reflection in the water, he was surprised to find that he actually liked the way he looked.
"Well, it's not bad, actually. It's a bit too feminine for my taste, but I'm sure my sister would have loved it. Tsireya enjoys decorating my hair with various types of adornments herself," he told you, smiling a little.
As you and Ao'nung were enjoying the view, a loud whistle caught your attention. You turned around to see Rotxo approaching, and as soon as he noticed Ao'nung's hair adorned with flowers, he burst into uncontrollable laughter, holding onto his stomach. "What the hell, Ao'nung! I had no idea that you preferred your hair to be so tidy!”
Ao'nung had enough of Rotxo's teasing about his hair, and he straightened up, fixing his gaze on him. "Enough, Rotxo," he said firmly, "It's called fashion, and if you can't appreciate it, that's your problem. I like it, and that's all that matters."
Ao'nung's words elicited a chuckle from you. It was surprising to know that he had an understanding of fashion, given he was portraying himself as a bad boy. "We should start heading back to the village, the eclipse is coming soon," you suggested.
Rotxo approached Ao'nung and attempted to adjust one of the flowers in his hair, but Ao'nung swatted his hand away with a loud hiss as he showed Rotxo his sharp fangs.
As Rotxo gave his friend's shoulder a little push, the three of you began making your way back to the village. "I wonder what others will say about your new look, Ao'nung," Rotxo pondered.
Ao'nung shrugged nonchalantly. "I don't give a damn."
As the three of you arrived at the village, the sky was already darkening, and the first signs of the eclipse were beginning to show. The air was getting cooler, and the wind had started to pick up. The village was abuzz with activity as people gathered to spend time with their loved ones.
Ao'nung turned to you and gave you a sly wink, and you couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement at the connection between you two and a sense of warmth and connection with him, despite the awkwardness from earlier. The eclipse was a beautiful and awe-inspiring sight, and you were grateful that the promise of a new beginning was on the horizon.

A small bouquet || Joel Miller x fem!reader
Masterlist

Summary: when Joel presents you with flowers, it reminds you of the good old days when the world was different
Warnings: none
Word count: 532
Author: Fenrir
A/N: today’s prompt: presenting them with a bunch of flowers

"Even a simple roadside bloom is a creation of love, hopefully," Joel thought as he prepared a bouquet for his girlfriend. In the end, they were two people who had fallen to the wayside of society, on the edge of a world that was already in a state of decay. Since they had seen each other as unique and special blooms, he knew his lover would agree that this Valentine's Day bouquet was perfect, even though people stopped celebrating this holiday of love when pandemics struck.
He met your worried gaze at the door after returning from work later than usual that day. "I was worried about you, Joel, are you okay?" You asked him, walking straight to the hallway to see how he was doing.
Your cheek was instantly rubbed with his calloused palm as his thumb slid slowly across your soft, warm skin. "It's okay, babe. I promised you to stay outta trouble, and that's exactly what I'm doing," he assured, his tone somewhat husky.
You gave him a look that indicated you were far from believing him. It was clear to you that Joel was prone to troubles of all kinds, even if he didn't intend to be involved in them. You tilted your head again after noticing him hiding something behind his back carelessly. "What's that?"
His lips curled in a small, shy smile before he replied. "I have something for you."
The intrigue level had now reached a new level. Without asking any more questions, you waited for him to show you.
In a hesitant manner, Joel offered you the messy bouquet he had hidden behind his back. "You once told me that you miss the ordinariness of the old world, so I thought I would bring you some."
It was hard to believe what you were seeing. Joel, the toughest man you've ever met, gathered some flowers for you, and to do so, you were sure, he had to leave the quarantine zone. “Oh, Joel! You didn’t have to!” The bouquet was quickly accepted and brought close to your nose to smell the sweet, almost nauseating scent of those wild flowers. You mused sweetly, "Is there an occasion for them? Or was I just a good girl? They’re beautiful though." Joel placed one hand on your hip with a sigh. "If not for the fungus, today would be Valentine's Day."
As you parted your lips, an almost audible sigh escaped your mouth as you accepted Joel's explanation. He was more than right.
He rubbed your back gently and pulled you closer to his broad chest without saying a word. "I don't want to sound like an idiot or a wimp, but I will love you unconditionally, regardless of how tough times get. You are the only one who keeps me going."
While standing on your tiptoes, you kissed his stubbled jaw. "I love you too. I appreciate this beautiful gift, it brightened my day. Let me throw them in the water." Before heading to your tiny kitchen, you glanced at him over your shoulder. "I am grateful you have given me some kind of magic that I had thought had been lost for a long time."

A Cultural Fusion || Neteyam x fem!Omaticaya reader
Masterlist

Summary: Neteyam instructs you on the customs and significance of Valentine's Day, a special day celebrated by humans
Warnings: none
Word count: 1690
Author: Rouge
A/N: prior to reading, it’s important to know that: the reader is female Omaticaya ✤ you'll find a glossary underneath the fic ✤ today’s prompt: learning about Valentine’s Day

Neteyam had always been fascinated by the ways of the humans. He had spent many evenings listening to his father recounting stories about the strange and exotic customs of the outsiders. But one particular story had always stuck with him - a tale about a special day called Valentine's Day.
As he walked through the lush forest, Neteyam spotted you sitting alone by the river, lost in your thoughts. He approached you with a gentle smile, curious to know what was on your mind.
You looked up at him and returned the smile, happy to have some company.
“Oel ngati kameie, Y/N," Neteyam greeted you. "Are you okay? You seem a little troubled."
You shrugged, feeling a little embarrassed. "I'm fine. I'm just thinking about something."
"Would you like to talk about it?" Neteyam asked kindly, taking a look around, smiling as he spotted a few kenten sitting in the nearby bushes.
You hesitated for a moment before nodding. "It's just that tomorrow is Valentine's Day, Lo’ak told me about that, and I don't really know what it means. I’ve never heard about this before. And your brother said it has something to do with love and feelings, but I don’t know if I can believe him."
Neteyam's eyes lit up with recognition. "Ah, I know about this day. My father told me about it. It's a day when humans show their love and affection for one another."
You looked at him curiously. "How do they do that when they do not have anything similar to tsaheylu?"
Neteyam paused for a moment, gathering his thoughts. "Well, they exchange gifts, like flowers or sweets, to show that they care about each other. And they spend time together, doing things they enjoy."
You listened intently, fascinated by the concept of expressing love through such simple gestures. "But why is it called Valentine's Day?" You asked.
Neteyam shrugged. "I'm not sure. My father didn't tell me that part. But I think it's because there was a human saint named Valentine who used to help people express their love. Humans have a lot of saints, after all."
"Saints? What are those?" You asked, puzzled.
"They are people who are believed to have lived holy lives and are now in heaven. Humans pray to them for help and guidance," Neteyam explained, taking a seat by your side, slipping his feet into the water.
You looked at him, surprised. "Really? Humans have so many beliefs and traditions. I can't keep up with all of them."
Neteyam chuckled. "I know it can be overwhelming. But I find it fascinating to learn about all these different customs and beliefs. It helps me understand humans better. My dad was one of them, after all."
You nodded, but you still didn't quite understand why humans would pray to someone who was no longer alive. Neteyam could see the confusion on your face.
"It's hard to explain, Y/N. But I think it gives humans comfort to know that there are people in the heavens watching over them," he said.
You looked at him curiously. "Heaven? What's that?"
"It's a place where humans believe they can be happy forever, with no pain or sadness," Neteyam explained, playing with a tuft of grass.
You nodded, trying to understand this concept. "So it's like a place of eternal peace?"
"Exactly," Neteyam nodded with a smile. "It's like becoming one with Eywa after death. Humans believe that they can reunite with their loved ones who have passed away and be with them forever in heaven."
You felt a sense of understanding dawn on you. "I see. It's like the ultimate reunion."
"Yes. It's a way for humans to find comfort in the face of death, to believe that they can be together with their loved ones again someday."
You smiled, feeling grateful for Neteyam's insights. It was always interesting to learn about the beliefs and customs of humans, even if they were different from your own and usually meant danger. And in some ways, the concept of heaven was similar to your own belief in the afterlife, of becoming one with Eywa and the spirits of your ancestors. It was a reminder that, despite all our differences, there were still common threads that bound everyone all together. You thought about this for a moment, trying to wrap your head around the concept. "I see. I guess it's like how we believe in the spirits of our ancestors who guide us."
Neteyam smiled. "Exactly! It's different, but it's also similar in a way."
You smiled back at him, feeling grateful for his insights into the human world. It was always interesting to learn about their many beliefs and traditions, even if you didn't always understand them.
You nodded, feeling grateful for Neteyam's explanation. "Thanks for telling me about it. It sounds like a nice tradition, that Valentine's Day. But it’s a little strange that humans have one particular day where they are affectionate with their loved ones."
Neteyam had been thinking about Valentine's Day for a while, and he decided to make a small gift for you. He spent many hours working on it, putting all his love and care into each stitch and bead. "Y/N, I made this for you. It's not much, but I wanted to give you something special for Valentine's Day, even if it would take place only tomorrow," Neteyam whispered, reaching for the little bag hung over his shoulder. He pulled out a beautiful bracelet made of woven leaves and colorful beads. It was delicate and intricate, and you could see the time and care that Neteyam had put into making it.
“Neteyam,” you whispered, looking up at him, accepting the gift. “Ma Eywa! It’s beautiful.”
Neteyam smiled, happy to see you enjoying the gift. "I'm glad you like it. I wanted to bring something from human tradition, because that's what father does for mom, and I thought a handcrafted gift would be a good choice."
You nodded, feeling grateful for Neteyam's effort and his understanding of human customs. It was fascinating to learn all that stuff about sky people.
"Thank you, Neteyam. This is a wonderful gift, and I'll cherish it always," you said, putting the bracelet on your wrist and admiring its beauty. “But… I don’t have anything for you, and after what you said I understand that Valentine’s Day is about exchanging gifts.”
Neteyam's smile widened, pleased to have made you happy. It was a small gesture, but it meant a lot to both of you, a symbol of the growing bond as Neteyam had his eye on you for a long while. "There's something you can do for me," Neteyam suggested.
Your head tilted to the side, and you asked, "What's that?"
In a bold voice, he asked, "Kiss me." Neteyam gazed into your eyes, feeling his heart racing with anticipation. He took a deep breath and reached out to gently take your hand in his. Neteyam leaned in closer to her, feeling a surge of courage. "There's something that draws me to you. I feel a connection with you that I can't explain." He paused for a moment, gathering his thoughts, and then he leaned in even closer until your faces were just inches apart.
Your heart skipped a beat as you looked into Neteyam's eyes. You saw the sincerity and vulnerability in his expression, and you felt your own heart begin to race in response. Without a word, you leaned in and met Neteyam's lips with yours, feeling a jolt of electricity pass between them.
For a moment, the world around you fell away as you shared your first kiss. It was a gentle and tender moment, filled with the promise of what could be. As you pulled away, Neteyam looked at you and smiled, feeling a sense of hope and joy that he had never felt before. He looked at you, his eyes wide with awe and wonder. It was as if a new world had opened up to him, and he was seeing everything in a different light. He couldn't believe how soft your lips were, how your touch had sent shivers down his spine, and how his heart was beating so fast in his chest. It was like nothing he had ever felt before, and he knew that he was completely and utterly smitten. For a moment, he was lost in his thoughts, trying to process the overwhelming feeling that had taken over him. As he looked at you, he saw the way your eyes sparkled in the light, the way your smile made his heart flutter, and he knew that he was in trouble. He had never felt this way before, and he knew that he wanted to explore this new and exciting world of emotions that you had introduced him to. Neteyam couldn't wait to see what the future held for the two of you, and he knew that he was ready to take on any challenge as long as he had you by his side.
In that moment, you knew that everything had changed. You felt an intense connection with Neteyam, and you were completely enamored with him. It was a kiss that you would never forget, and you couldn't wait to see where this newfound attraction would take you. “Neteyam,” you whispered softly, trying to find proper words to describe your feelings.
“Shhh,” he whispered, wrapping his arms around your shoulders, pulling you closer to his strong chest. “I’m also lost for words.”
You couldn't help but nuzzle your face into Neteyam's chest, basking in the warmth and comfort that emanated from him. It felt like you were melting into him, and the feeling that rose within your chest was indescribable. As you breathed in his scent, you felt a sense of calm wash over you. It was like you were exactly where you were meant to be, and everything else in the world just fell away. You closed your eyes, savoring the moment, and letting yourself be completely enveloped by the feeling of being in Neteyam's arms. It was a moment you knew you would treasure forever.
