The first time my group played dnd I had a smal panic attack befor i could start the game. Dming is hard and sometimes scary and putting yourself out there is not easy. But now I can start my sessions by saying "listen up you fucks" so it gets better. :)

Preping a dnd game would not be so hard if people would stop saying that "your players need a story and world to interact with" and "random fackts you came up with in the shower is not world building" or "stop planing npcs that you will never get to use. You have game night in three days and still need to right down the stat block for the main fight of the session"
