you and pope decided to spend the warm sunny day sitting by the beach to get some fresh air while he studies, you honestly wanted to keep him company and needed to get him to spend some time outside. 

seated on a towel you watch as the light hits the side of his face as he continues to write in his notebook. 

"wanna go in the water?" you ask softly, poking his arm.

"i'm just gonna finish this first, you can go in if you want, i'll watch you from here" he smiles but doesn't look up from writing.

"nooo, i'll just stay here." you huff and turn to look in your tote bag to see if you can find anything to entertain yourself with. 

you dig around and find some temporary glitter tattoos that you had bought earlier that week. 

you smile to yourself and look back over at pope who is still busying himself with his work, you take off your shirt leaving you in your bikini top. 

taking the water bottle that was lying on the towel you soak a corner of your shirt and scooch closer to pope.

all of a sudden he feels something stick on his arm and your little fingers pressing it in place.

"what are you doing?" he asks like he's about to scold a child, his head turns over to look at his arm.

"giving you a tattoo!" you press the wet shirt onto the little paper to get the tattoo to stick.

"where'd you even get that?" he continues to inspect what you are doing

"it was in my bag... it's going to look so cute! you'll see." you peel off the paper to reveal the little hibiscus flower on his arm, glittering in the sunlight. 

"yeah it is nice..." he grins, flexing his arm a little bit which makes you giggle.

"i have more! you wanna pick another? look," you show him the little pile of tattoos in your hands, he looks at your hand and points to the blue shiny dolphin one. "this one..."

"ohkay! where should i put it?" you roll up his sleeve and point to the bottom of his shoulder. "sure!" he nods and watches you concentrate on sticking it on.  

"there! it's sooo cute!" you admire your work by squeezing his arm a bit. 

"want me to put one on you?" he asks holding up another of the little tattoos.

"mhmm, so we can be matching!" you smile and bring your arm up so he can work on putting it on you. "this is very relaxing, we should do this more often..." he mumbles softly, the waves crashing in the background. 

"i agree" 

he peels back the wet paper to reveal your little glittery flower tattoo, you bring your arm up towards the sun so it shines. 

"wowww, it's so shiny" you twist your arm around to see how the light bounces off the sparkles. 

"now we are twins..." he brings his arm up next to yours making you both smile. 

"yeah! i feel like a mermaid..." you wiggle your hips a little making pope smile. 

"you are a mermaid, do want a book to read while i finish this?" he asks, handing one of the books he had in a little pile on the edge of the towel. 

"mmhm shure..." you lay on your stomach, placing the book down on the towel to read in the sun while pope continues his studies, little birds flying over and sounds of the water crashing in the distance.

John B glanced back over at you as he stated at the Pomegranate and his lips press together in a thin line.

"Why didn't you get it in the cups? Where it's already all seeds?" He asks and you shrug, still holding the fruit out.

"It's sweeter this way. Please?"

He doesn't want to do it, not because he just doesn't want to; but because he doesn't really know how to peel a pomegranate.

But he nods with a smile as he grabs it from you and moves to grab the cutting board. "Of course, baby."

JJ chuckles a bit as he raises his brows in slight amusement, tilting his head towards you.

"What? Can't peel it on your own?"

He snickers, sort of making fun of you and you just shrug, holding it out to him again and he rolls his eyes playfully as he takes it from you.

He digs his nails into the skin of the fruit as he peels it back. He's a bit messy with it, but he gets the job done.

He takes one of the slices, popping it into his mouth and hands you the rest.

"There. Is there anything else of yours that I can peel off?"

"Of course." Pope hums and stops right in his tracks, he doesn't even question it or give you a confused look.

He gets down on his knees, patting one for you to place your shoe on his knee and he brings your hand to his shoulder to use as leverage.

He smiles as he ties your shoe, a simple task that he knows you could have done yourself but he doesn't mind doing it for you.

He taps your other shoe so both of them are tied the same and have less of a chance of untying without you even having to say anything.

He finished both shoes and dusts off his knees as he grabs your hand, entwining it with his and he places a kiss on your temple.

Rafe grabs your face softly to tilt your head up as you pucker your lips at him and he applies the lipgloss to your top and bottom lip in a fresh glossy coat.

You nod, smiling and he can't help but smile back as he places a kiss on your lips and you groan that he messed it up.

He only shrugs and leans back in for another.

Pope smiles over and opens an outstretched hand over to you. “Come ‘ere sweetie.” You walk hesitantly over, the boat rushing unevenly. JJ pulls you into him and you giggle. “You’re safe with us princess.” You roll your eyes. “Am I?” “Yup.” Pope says and he and JJ attack you with kisses and you laugh. 

Kie, Sarah and John look over at the both of you with smiles on their faces. “They love each other so much.” Sarah whisper to Kie. “I can’t see those two without her, really. She completes us.” Kie whispers back.

JJ kisses up your neck as Pope makes out with you on your right. You were in the middle of a huge euphoric rush. Both boys hands trail your body and they touch your core. Everyone’s faces fall. “Sweetie, we thought you were busy tonight!” Pope says. “You didn’t decide to call me? Neither one of you?” You say in disbelief. You look over at them, and another pang of sadness hits you. Seeing how the close those your boys were, it hurt.”  “Y/n-” Kie says and you hold up your hand. “Its fine!” You say. “I’m going home though.” You try to move past them and Pope grabs your wrist. “Sweetie-” “Don’t touch me.” You say coldly and wrench your grasp away from them, tears filling your eyes.

Both men cuddle each other, and you smile, that pang of sadness not appearing anymore. “We love you.” They say in unison, and you look down. “Um...” You step into the bathroom and lock the door behind you, and quickly move over to the toilet and start throwing up.

So I can figure it out my feelings.” Your sister shakes her head. “No. That’s going to hurt you even more.”

“DOES IT EVEN MATTER ANYMORE?” You shout. “I LOVE THEM SO FUCKING MUCH BUT I DON’T KNOW IF THEY FEEL THE SAME WAY, I CAN’T AFFORD LOVING TWO PEOPLE SO FUCKING MUCH AND NOT SELF DOUBT!” You shout. Then you sink on the floor and sob. “I-I love them so much and I-” Hard sobs wreck your body. Your sister kneels on the floor and hugs you as you sob into her chest. “I love-” “Shhh. It’s okay, you’re okay. It’s okay. I know you love them. I know.” She rubs your back as you sob.

What are you doing here during a storm? Come inside!” She says. You step in. “I’m going to be quick Mrs. Heyward I promise. Is JJ here as well?” “Yes. Pope insisted on bringing him and was going to send out for you! But what do you mean by quick sweetheart? This is a very dangerous hurricane, bigger than Agatha and the previous!” You smile sadly. “This is more of a bitter visit.” 

You walk up the stairs and knock on the door. JJ opens the door. “Sunshine?” You give a small smile. “We need to talk.” He says and pulls you in Pope’s bedroom gently. You nod. “We don’t understand what’s going on with you. You blocked us, you haven’t been hanging out with us, you clearly aren’t sick, and you haven’t been here. Sweetie what’s going on?” Pope says. 

JJ stands up and walks over to you, stroking your face and looking into your eyes. “You can talk to us, you know that princess. You know that.” You back up from his touch. 

Hot tears start to form at your waterline, but you blink that back. “I’m sorry. Truly. But I can’t... I can’t do this with you both. I can’t feel like a burden shared between the two of you. And I can’t keep doubting that your love for me. Because I love you both so fucking much. Deeper than the Pacific Ocean, The quiet moments, the sweet smiles and the silly jokes: these are the things I cherish most. But I can’t help but doubt it. I don’t believe that you both love me, and I can’t battle with myself anymore. A lot of times I feel left out and-” You let out a sob.

You yank off the necklace that your sister had gotten you three for your first anniversary. “I can’t.” You say. “Y/n-” Pope says standing up. “I’m sorry for wasting your time. I love you both dearly.” “Y/N!” JJ yells. You run out the door and down the stairs and hear two footsteps pummeling down. “Y/N!” They yell.

Lightning cracks as you run outside into the rain and Pope grabs your arm. “Let go of me!” You yell. “YOU CAN’T JUST FUCKING DO THAT!” JJ yells. “YOU CAN’T JUST TELL US THAT YOU’RE BREAKING UP AND NOT LET US HAVE A SAY!” Pope shouts over the thunder. “I CAN DO WHATEVER THE FUCK I WANT HEYWARD! I’M A GROWN ASS WOMAN!” You see your sister’s car pulling up by the dock. Pushing out of Pope’s grasp you run to your sister’s car and hop in, and she speeds off, leaving your two lovers in the rain.

Two weeks have passed since your breakup with JJ and Pope. You had left the P4L group chat, blocked everyone and just lived in sadness for a while. Did you miss them. Yes. You missed being in the middle of them in bed, you missed the kisses, the intimate moments, the tummy kisses, and you missed your friends. But hey, that’s the price of running away from your lovers- oh sorry, EX-lovers in the middle of a hurricane. 

One afternoon, you were lounging on your bed reading and your sister opens the door. “Yeah?” You ask. “Pope and JJ are here. They said they needed to talk to you. You freeze. “WHY?” You whisper shout. “Probably because of your dramatic breakup scene.” She whispers. “Tell them to get out!” You say. “No. I am tired of seeing you mope around. You are going to spill your guts.”  You groan.

Both boys come into the room, and you look up from your book, glaring at your beaming sister. She shuts the door, and it takes the willpower not to run out of your room. “Y/n.” Pope says. “You should’ve told us how you actually felt. We could’ve talked out.” You look down. “I’m sorry. I- I truly love you both. I was scared of telling you and you both would leave. And because of that, I just felt left out. So, I left. I thought it would be better.” 

“But it wasn’t. Baby, I don’t think you realize how important you are to us. You’re our light, our brightest light in our conjoined tunnel, our everything. Y/n we need you. these two weeks we were spiraling.
