Bland Brother Hoseok

BTS In : Tasty With Luv~

Mc is NOT an only child. No, she has a younger (only by a few minutes) fraternal twin brother, Jung Hoseok.

Yes, even if she was born exactly 7 minutes before Hoseok came out, she is still the eldest by time. A fact that Hoseok just has to live with the rest of his life.

Though older, MC is to marry one of the 6 Prince’s, while Hoseok will stay to be future king of Bland Kingdom. Yes, Bland Kingdom exists, but it’s not that luxurious like the others. Like tradition goes, Bland Princess must marry, and Bland Prince will take over the throne once Father can’t.

If Hoseok was not Bland Prince, MC is not quite sure what kingdom he would belong to. The thing about Bland Royalty, is that they can blend with the rest. Perhaps even better than anyone else.

Just like Prince Jimin can blend with Prince Taehyung to create sour candy, and enjoy citrus fruits together. MC as Bland Princess can match Prince Jimin perfectly. Everything about them will be sweet, just like he likes it.

But back to Hoseok, he’s a bit on the quiet side at home. Though when he is with friends he is more cheerful. More open to anything, perhaps that is his Bland royalty blood coming in.

Always trying to blend well with others. Looking to mix in to make everything perfect.

He’s not bad looking either. Pretty nose, and quite a sharp jawline if you ask me. Something about fixing his hair to show his forehead has many people staring a bit longer than normal. And I don’t blame them 👀 he looks handsome!

Blonde hair and soft looking eyes. Though he may be younger, he’s still MC’s brother, and he is quite protective of her. A bit moody that she is constantly going out to see these...these other MEN! Alone! Why is no one worried?!

He’d just roll his eyes when MC commented on how Sweet Prince knew how to dance so well, so delicate and professional.

Hoseok would just nod while thinking “I’m better though...” or “But can he do a backflip? No, right? What a noob” yeah those little childish thoughts.

He would let out a groan of annoyance when MC simply couldn’t stop mentioning how looking at the sea reminded her of Prince Jin, who was always ready to fish when he would head about her arrival. Or how Prince Namjoon would collect these cute shells for her to later choose which ones she liked.

So one thinks fishing is romantic, and the other is picking sea shells thinking that it’s romantic? Are these guys even worthy of having his sister? They all sound incompetent.

Pink Hair (Jimin), treats MC like some delicate flower. Which she is not, she is a strong woman who can fight for herself. He knows! Because when younger both used to sometimes fight and there were times where she would beat him.

Sour Prince (Taehyung. Hoseok hasn’t come up with a nickname for him.) Is too playful. He’s too childlike for his sister. If she ever wants to talk about something serious, will he be able to act like an adult? His sister needs a modest man. Not a child.

That Fish Guy ( Jin) just seems to care about fishing, and his boat. Are they more important than MC? They better not be. Not only that, but he’s heard that Fish Guy thinks quite highly of himself. Which is annoying.

Tall Salt (Namjoon) is...well, actually he doesn’t have much info on him. But to what he’s heard, he’s clumsy and gets too lost in books sometimes. He’s not sure if that’s necessarily bad, but if there isn’t much to him, then that means he’s boring. His sister should not be with a boring man.

Mild Child ( Jungkook ) who he feared of the most because Spicy people are to watch out for. You never know with who you’re dealing with when it’s someone spicy. It’s only after you bite that you find out the intensity. MC mentioned that the prince was shy though, and would hide from her.

Ha! What a kid! Yeah, no. Definitely not fit for MC.

Bitter Prince (Yoongi) also does not have a nickname. But Hoseok simply doesn’t like him. Not after MC came home all sad that Bitter Prince didn’t even want to see her. Who does he think he is to treat his sister like that? He dislikes him. He’s Bland Prince but even thinking of Prince Yoongi makes him taste bitter. Which is not good.

Of course, after a while he will go ahead and meet them. For now, these are his options based on what he’s heard from Mc, and others. His view might change drastically on the 6 potential partners for his sister.

Into Eternity - Part I

IntoEternity - Part I

Today was the day you had been dreading for months. It was your wedding day. The day your parents had been waiting for many years to come. Finally, you had a use. You’d been an ill child, constantly being sick and unable to help out on the farm. The only reason you’d been saved was because of your beauty. The King and Queen knew you’d look perfect on the arm of their son, Jimin.

The Prince was beautiful, of this there was no doubt. He had an elegance that many sought after. Your parents had fallen to the King and Queen’s feet, telling them that they’d make sure to raise you so you were worthy of someone like the crowned prince.

No expense was spared today. Gold fibers had been woven into your hair. Your bodice was laced tightly and you found it difficult to breathe. However, there was no sympathy from your ladies in waiting.

“Can you suck in a little more dear? The Prince should be able to fit his arms around you… Hopefully,” she breathed, looking around at the other women in the room like they were all sharing a similar thought. It left a sour taste in your mouth at how easily insults came off their tongues here, but you tried your best to breathe in more.

“You’ve got a decent face, but the Princess of Ivarsted was much more regal if you ask me,” another woman that was preparing your skirts commented.

The insults wore on as the day progressed. Your face was done up and you were put into your shoes for the night. You winced in discomfort at the jewels that scraped against your fragile skin, but you remained silent. Any complaining would be fruitless to you at this point, if anything it would damage you. It wasn’t worth it; no one would be listening anyways.

You really had no idea what to expect for your husband. All you had heard your entire life was that he was going to take care of you and that you had to serve him to the best of your ability. You had to watch your weight and watch your figure to make sure you didn’t displease him some day. The Crowned Prince was known to be beautiful. He was very quiet and kept to himself, rarely ever coming out of the palace. However, you’d never met him. Not even in passing. You lived far out of town and you weren’t allowed near the palace at a young age in fear of you being seen by the Prince or the other members of the royal family and them suddenly deciding you weren’t going to be enough for his highness. So, the first time that you’d be meeting your husband would be as you walked down the aisle.

Your hair was pulled up high into a painful, yet supposedly elegant updo. At one point your scalp began to bleed because the woman doing your hair was stating it was too long for what the Queen had requested. Something you could’ve easily fixed had you been paying any attention. Your fault entirely, of course.

Finally, you were done. ‘As good as it was going to get,’ according to one lady. You sighed and looked at yourself in the mirror. You looked pretty, although it wasn’t what you usually looked like. You looked almost like a ghost because you were so white. Your lips were painted a ridiculous red color, almost like a doll being dressed up for parade. You found yourself wanting to be sick merely from looking at your reflection. You wondered what Jimin was going to think when he saw you. You thanked the women who had been torturing you all morning; gathering your skirts before heading towards the door. However, before you could escape through the door, a man standing in a Royal guards attire approached.

“Sir Namjoon! You don’t need to take her, certainly she can go on her own,” one woman gushed as she fell to the floor in a dramatic manner. You sighed and looked at the man before you with mild interest.

“Nonsense, she is the Prince’s bride! I will escort her to Yoongi-hyung,” he said, approaching you.  You gazed at him with a blank expression. Honestly, on the inside, you were numb. Namjoon gave you a small smile, which you couldn’t return. He offered you his arm and you took it gingerly, wrapping yours around his as you were instructed.

“You look lovely, Jimin will be floored with how amazing you look,” he said as the two of you wove through the grey walls of the castle.

“Thank you,” you said in a tight tone. Namjoon noticed your unease.

“Jimin is a good person, you’ll be in safe hands for eternity,” he said, seeing if you’d bite.

“That’s good to know, thank you,” you said as the pair of you rounded a corner. You stood at the top of a very large and elaborate staircase. The marble was so clean it almost felt wrong to set foot on it. However, Namjoon urged you forwards.

Each step felt like a step towards death. No more playing down by the creek. No more reading in the middle of the fields while the sun soaked your skin and the wind caught your hair. All of that was ending. All because of your family practically giving you to the royal family, simply because they wanted to survive another day. Your mother had always wanted more than a simple life on the farm, and you would be giving it to her. She would forever be known as the woman who birthed a Queen. What a title.

“This is where I leave you, Yoongi will take you the rest of the way,” he said, passing you off to a somber looking man who appeared to be thinking of a million other places he could be.

“Pleasure to meet you your future highness,” he said, offering his arm to you. Slowly, you reached out to him and wrapped his arms around his. Yoongi wasn’t as tall as Namjoon and certainly not as talkative. He practically dragged you through the hallways before stopping in front of a large set of intimidating French doors.

“Now entering,” a booming voice began as the doors opened. “Miss Y/F/N Y/L/N! Future ruler of Arcane Kingdom!” The room before you was decorated in the flowers that were also in your bouquet. White lilies. You hadn’t chosen them, but apparently all things pertaining to you were handled by the Queen. Candles were burning all over the room, adding an ominous glow to the massive space. You looked ahead and saw Jimin. He was dressed in lavish fabrics that poured over him in a ornate manner. However, he was more beautiful than all the fabrics that he wore. You felt your breath shorten slightly at the sight. You hadn’t expected him to look so… ethereal. Yoongi pulled on your arm as the music began, making sure your walking matched that of the music.

You risked a glance at Jimin as you approached. He gave you a soft smile that you found easy to return, because it felt genuine. You kept your pace even as you slowly made your way towards the alter. However, your eyes were trained on Jimin. He had such an air of elegance about him that you felt like you paled in comparison. He had the feel of a Prince and a future King. You? You felt out of place, drowning in your gown with the amount of heavy jewels and makeup suffocating you. The dress and corset made your ribs hurt and your head swim. Yoongi pinched your hand to bring you back to reality.

Finally, Jimin bowed before you, taking your hand and bringing you up to the alter. Jin the castle’s Priest stood before the two of you with a warm smile on his face.

“Dearly beloved guests. We thank you for your toils and hardships to be here to witness the joining of this man, and this woman, in holy matrimony.”

Blood pounded in your ears and made it difficult to hear. You knew Jin was speaking, but whatever he was saying was lost on you. Slowly, you glanced at Jimin out of the corner of your eye. He stood there proudly with such regality and poise that you felt your heart race in anxiety. You could feel the weight of his hand in yours like an anchor, weighing you down until you could no longer breathe.

“We will now exchange vows!” Jin announced, loud enough for you to hear through your loud thoughts. “Prince Jimin, you first.”

“My dear Y/N,” he started. “We’ve grown in separate worlds, but no longer. I wish for us now to grow together and happily in this place we will call home. Let me protect you, cherish you and be the one you trust with your life. I will do all I can to be a husband that will make you happy,” he said making the room fawn. It became silent and people looked at you with an expectant gaze. You cleared your throat awkwardly and tried to remember what the women had been yelling to you all morning.

“My prince,” you said, your voice cracking slightly at the end of your statement. He eyed you curiously, squeezing your hand gently. “I promise to serve you, give you all I can and more,” you held your stomach and tried to breathe in as deeply as you could. Jimin gave you a worried glance.

“Are you alright?” he whispered, pulling you closer. The crowd gasped and awed at the scene, but you nodded and tried to go on.

“I will stand by your side and give you everything I am… I am your wife from this day forward, and I will be your future,” you said, only able to remember half of what the women had prattled off earlier. The room was silent before a few gentle claps resounded through the large space.

“Please, take these rings,” he said, letting the jewelers of the local village bring the rings forward. A short man with a balding scalp approached you with Jimin’s wedding band, a white gold ring that had a deep red stone set into the band. It was beautiful, but yours was a different story. The piece was large and the band was decorated with diamonds while in the middle was a large red stone that was the same as Jimin’s.

“These rings are made out of the finest white gold and set with white and red diamonds, these diamonds are meant to symbolize eternal passion and strength. We hope they are to your liking,” a man said. You watched as Jimin reached out and had a small conversation with the person who had handed him your ring. The man smiled proudly and the two of you were made to face each other.

Jimin cleared his throat and took your hand in his. “With this ring, I bond myself to you. You will be mine, into eternity,” he said, placing the ring on your finger. The weight was grotesque and you simply stared at it on your finger. You looked at Jimin’s band in your small hand. Your ring looked out of place and like it was going to break your finger. Jimin tugged on your hand and brought you out of your stupor. Slowly you brought the ring up and slid it onto his finger.

“With this ring, I bond myself to you. You will be mine, into eternity,” you repeated. Jimin looked at it for a moment before lacing his fingers with yours.

“By the power vested in me by God and the King of Arcane Kingdom, I now pronounce you husband and wife… You may now kiss the bride,” Jin said, smiling at the two of you. Before you could even process what was happening, Jimin leaned down and sealed his lips against yours for a quick moment. You didn’t even get to respond before he was pulling away and leaving you stunned. The two of you stood before the crowd as the cheered and hollered for your union. The room was loud and all you could do was cry.

You will be mine, into eternity…

Into Eternity - Part III

Into Eternity - Part III

Guess who’s back with a new chapter that’s been written for like, six months and just never got around to typing it up? This girrrlllll.

Ha ha... Sorry about that.

Hopefully Owner will be continuing soon! Sorry for the long waits guys, but life is just so crazy right now. But I love what I do and don’t plan on stopping. So please enjoy!

DO NOT OWN THE PICTURE

~Don’t ask about updates thank you <3~

Jimin was floored. What were you doing here? And why?

Jimin looked towards the maid. “When did she arrive? And for what purpose,” Jimin asked, wondering why his wife would appear in front of all these lords and ladies. Who no doubt think you’re unfit to rule.

“She arrived minutes ago. She didn’t answer any questions brought to her, our ladies lead her to your room, Majesty,” the servant answered, keeping her head low out of respect.

“Trouble in paradise, hyung?” Jungkook teased. Taehyung promptly smacked him on the head while Jimin tried to think of why you were here.

“Jimin,” Taehyung whispered. “Go see her, find out what’s going on, we’ll talk later,” he said, grabbing Jungkook and leading him towards the map and charts at the back of the room.

“Take me to my wife,” Jimin declared. He gave one last look to his friends, who gave him a reassuring nod. A few other servants came to the door and began to lead him to his chambers. Jimin’s thoughts wandered to you. Why were you here and for what reason? He wanted you back at the palace to bond with the people, for the love of a Royal’s people is all they shall need. Or so his father stated. Something must have happened back home...

His parents wouldn’t have moved you so carelessly. Image was important right now, people were uproared at the impure bloodlines being introduced. However, you two had been promised to each other long ago... Fate had been cruel to both of you.

“Did anyone accompany her?”

“Father Kim Seokjin, Captain of the Royal Guard and Head of the Royal Archers Min Yoongi,” one answered. All of them were here?

Finally, he made it to his quarters. The servants opened the door and Jimin held his breath, waiting for a horrible sight to befall him...

---

You were sat in Jimin’s quarters, feeling nerves eating you up inside.

Would he be mad that you were here? Certainly once he knew the reason he would understand, Jimin wasn’t unreasonable.

“You’re looking rather pale, are you feeling okay?”

Jin’s question woke you from your daze.

“You know, you didn’t have to come with me. I’m sure I would’ve been alright,” you mumbled.

“There’s a reason the Queen sent us with you,” Namjoon stated.

“What’s the reason?”

Everyone was quiet. You rolled your eyes in irritation. That had been their response the whole way here, that the Queen demanded they go with you. That it was important you weren’t alone. Why didn’t anyone tell you anything? As future ruler, didn’t you have a right to know what was going on? The breeze rolled across the country side, pushing the grass down and revealing the Earth underneath. Watching nature in action soothed your frustration, putting you into a state of sadness instead. The grass moving in such a way reminded you of a childhood robbed and a life that was only given for one purpose.

To make an heir.

They had only selected you because of your beauty... You were just a factory for them to make another Royal... After that, what purpose did you serve? You weren’t expected to raise the heir, that could be passed on to the maids and nannies.

It was exactly as it was when you were a child. Shut up in a room where you were to wait until you had a purpose. Now, you were holed up in just a nicer looking castle, being told to sit and behave. The current Queen would never be treated with such disrespect. You were just a nice decoration for the Royal family to use at their discretion.

You felt a hand on yours that jolted you from your thoughts. You lifted your eyes to see Jin, looking at you with concern on his face. “Are you alright, dear? You’ve gotten rather pale,” he said.

A sigh escaped you as you turned your head back out to the grounds below. “I’m fine, thank you,” you offered as you adjusted your skirts, a nervous habit that you’d picked up.

“Y/N,” he said in a soothing tone before squeezing your hand gently. “Are you alright? Ever since we got into the carriage you’ve been distant... I don’t know why they brought us here but-”

The door opened and Jimin rushed in, distress evident in his features. Your party jumped at the intrusion, Namjoon even placing his hand on his sword in a warning position. Jimin disregarded everyone as he approached you, taking your hands and kneeling to the ground before you.

“Y/N, what’s going on? Why are you here, are you alright?” he asked, touching your cheek and scanning your body for any signs of injury. You placed your hands on his and pulled them away from your frame. Jimin tried to hide his hurt expression, but you caught the tick in his jaw.

“I’m alright, you seem to be more upset than I,” you commented.

“Then what are you doing here? I can’t figure out why you’d be here...” He trailed off, looking towards his guards in confusion.

“The Queen sent her here, your majesty,” Namjoon said, a dark expression passing over his face. Jimin looked to you then to Namjoon, standing.

“Did my mother send anything with you?” he asked, looking towards your traveling companions with interest.

“Only a verbal message, sire,” Yoongi said, approaching. “It was as follows: There was a sighting, roughly twenty miles from the palace walls. They’re becoming bolder, take Y/N to Jimin and keep her there until I’ve sent someone to collect them.”

Jimin swallowed thickly.

“Her majesty sent Y/N-”

“Lady Y/N, Namjoon, don’t be rude to your future Queen,” Jin reminded.

“Excuse me your highness, Lady Y/N was sent here by the Queen so she know you and her are both safe,” Namjoon explained.

“Safe,” Jimin started. “Safe from what?” He looked towards Jin with hopes of an answer, but Jin simply shook his head and looked out the window.

Jimin seemed to take his silence as an answer.

“Is she positive?” Jimin asked, looking at his friends for confirmation. Namjoon and Yoongi both nodded their heads, causing Jimin to rub his face in concern. “What did Hoseok say?”

Hoseok? Who was Hoseok?

“He was the one who made the suggestion to the Queen to have Lady Y/N moved here. He’ll want a word with you the moment he returns,” Namjoon stated.

“Who is Hoseok?” You asked, looking around for an answer, although everyone else seemed less interested in your questions.

“If Hoseok had her moved then it must be serious,” Jimin noted, the other men agreed.

“As wild as he can be, he is no fool,” Jin stated.

“Why are they becoming so unruly, thirty of my archers couldn’t hit them... And these are some of my best men,” Yoongi growled in displeasure.

“Why am I here?” you asked, directing the question towards Jin hoping for an answer. However, you were snubbed again. Frustration bubbled in your throat.

“Perhaps we need to instill the old ways again, that was the best way of dealing with an outbreak in the past,” Namjoon suggested. Jimin shook his head. The frustration quickly turned to rage that boiled in your chest like a pot left to simmer. They were acting as if you weren’t even there. Just a women, you couldn’t possibly understand. Too much for a lady.

“We need to inform Taehyung and his guards. We also need to have Hoseok return as soon as possible,” Jimin ordered. Yoongi made a note and the four-way conversation continued.

“May God be with us all, Jin said, looking at the table with grim feature.

“Excuse me?” you said, wanting to ask a few questions, just so you had a better handle on the situation at hand.

“Just a moment, Y/N,” Jin silenced you.

“But I’d really like to-”

“Please have patience,” Jin cut you off again.

“But-”

“My Lady, please,” Yoongi intervened.

“I would like-”

“Y/N let us think,” Jimin spoke up.

“NO!” You screamed, standing up so hard that your chair fell backwards with the force of your outburst.

The room went silent and all of the men looked at you in shock. Women weren’t supposed to speak out of turn against anyone, especially not men. Even more so, their husbands.

“Y/N, sit down, please,” Jin whispered, taking your hand.

“No,” you said again, ripping your hand from his. “I’m tired of sitting here like a doll with no opinion. I have a right to know what’s going on in this Kingdom. Who are these people you are talking about? Why has the Queen had me moved here? Who is Hoseok? What the hell is going on?!” You shouted. Your chest was heaving from anger...

Your rage had unfortunately gotten the better of you. You knew you shouldn’t have spoken out against them, but you were the future Queen, you have a duty.

“Y/N, I didn’t want to tell you because the stress wouldn’t be good for your health. I know how fragile you can be,” he attempted to sooth you. However, he did the exact opposite.

“Fragile? You think me to be fragile? If I am so fragile, easy to break, then why am I being trusted with this Kingdom? If I am so fragile, then I surely cannot bear young for you. What is my purpose to you if I am so fragile, you majesty,” you growled the last statement.

Jimin was shocked to say the least. No one had ever spoken to him like this. He wasn’t sure if he liked it either. You were his wife, were you allowed to speak to him that way? Dare you speak to him that way?

“Y/N, you don’t need to concern yourself with this,” he dismissed you. A scoff came from your mouth before you could stifle it.

“My Lady please, enough,” Jin warned.

“No one listens, no one ever has,” you whispered, a single tear dripping down your cheek. Jin quickly stood up and wiped your tear away, not before Jimin saw, however.

“My dear, this has all been a lot for you. Let’s go for a walk, clear your head and get some air?” Jin asked, approaching you.

“No,” you said softly. “I want to be alone, since that's all I’m ever going to be,” you breathed, accepting the truth for what it was.

“Y/N, be reasonable,” Jin tried, reaching for your hand.

“Don’t touch me,” you snarled. Jin shyed back as you walked towards Jimin and stood before him. “If you truly don’t think I need to know, then I can accept that. But imagine if I was pregnant, with your child,” you said, grabbing his hand and placing it on your stomach. “Would you tell me then? I implore you, think about it,” you said, before walking out of the room and down the stairs. Leaving the men bewildered.

---

Jimin couldn’t tear his eyes away from his hand while everyone discussed in the large banquet hall. The way you spoke out against him was absolutely disrespectful. However, your statement had adhered to his train of thought. He would’ve told you everything if you were pregnant. Because he would’ve been worried for the child inside of you. But what about you? You were still a person as well... His wife and the future Queen. The mother of his future child... Hopefully...

You were right, you needed to know.

“Your majesty, are you alright?” Namjoon asked, looking towards Jimin, worried.

“Sorry, I was lost in my thoughts. Please, proceed,” he said. But he knew he was wrong.... He owed you an apology.

---

The night air blew across your face calmly as you lead out over the railing of your balcony. The moon shone over the land, making you smile softly as the familiar sight brought peace to your tormented soul.

A large forest was to the west of the grassland before the palace, and you longed to go outside and run around in the moonlit forest of the night. A dream of yours from childhood you carried into adulthood. You could see it, the way the moon made the leaves on the trees turn silver and how time seemed to stop. There were no responsibilities, just you and nature. You and freedom...

“I like seeing you smile.”

Jimin’s voice carried, causing you to turn around. You were only in your night dress and a robe, hardly appropriate attire to be seeing him in.

“Thank you your majesty,” you said in a cold tone. Jimin winced at the name and came forward out onto the balcony with you.

“I need to apologize to you,” he started. “Although, you were also wrong for speaking out against your Prince and husband... I see that I have upset you greatly, and you gave me much to think about,” he began, leaning against the railing with you.

“I’m sorry for speaking out, I should have broached the subject with more tact... However, I let my anger get the better of me... Not very becoming of a future Queen,” you said, biting your lip. Unconsciously you began to fidget with the skirt of your night dress, causing it to pull up your leg slightly.

“I accept your apology, now I have much to apologize for,” he said, turning to you. You turned as well, facing him. “I haven’t been the most attentive husband, and I will regret that in the coming future. But I don’t wish to continue the way we have been... It feels as though we are walking on thin ice when near each other, I feel this is due to not knowing one another... At least, not as much as a husband and wife should,” he began.

As much as a husband and wife should...? Does he mean? He wants to become intimate with you? So soon?

“I agree,” you said, pulling on your skirt a bit more.

Jimin was slightly shocked. He thought you were going to put up another cold front in his face when trying to broach the subject of becoming closer. He really did want to know everything about you, it was the least he could do.

“Really? You wouldn’t be uncomfortable doing so?”

“No, quite the contrary. We should have discussed this sooner,” you stated. Jimin nodded and took your hands.

“I’m sorry I’ve been so cold towards you. It wasn’t my intention to push you away. I’ve never been good with, uh, women. I’d like to be friends with you, and if not friends, then allies. I want - no - I need you on my side, always,” he stated.

“You’ll have me on your side. It’s a sensitive topic to discuss. I didn’t want to push it, distance was expected,” you reassured.

“I’m so glad you aren’t upset with me... I’ve been fretting about it,” he mentioned. Of course he was worrying about it. Producing an heir was no small feat. There was a lot that went into it. Besides him into you.

“There’s no need to worry about it, we’ll do this together,” you affirmed, squeezing his hands in yours. Jimin smiled brightly. You were taken off guard for a moment. In the time you’d been with Jimin, you weren’t sure if you’d ever seen that look on his face. He eyes seemed to disappear into two little moons... Much like the moon you love so dearly. You came to the conclusion that you loved that look on Jimin’s face.

“I’m elated that you feel that way,” Jimin said, relief evident in his voice.

Although, now what did you do? Certainly you don’t make the first move... Do you?

“So, shall we... get to bed?” you asked, looking towards the room with anxiety. Jimin nodded and began heading back inside. You followed, a chill running down your spine for a moment.

Quickly, you turned and looked towards the forest. A flash of orange light disappeared into the darkness of the night. Jimin noticed you still on the balcony, coming back out to collect you. His hand on your lower back startling you.

“Oh!” You gasped, turning and bumping into his front. Jimin’s hand relaxed on your back, a calm grin coming over his face.

You lost time for a moment. The moon’s silvery beams cascaded over his shoulders, bathing him in starlight that took your breath away.

Jimin was equally affected. The cool air of the night had brought a blush to your cheeks and your eyes gleamed in the bright tones of the night. A churning sensation pulsed in his stomach, and confusion bit at his throat. He needed to get away to gather himself.

“You’ll catch a cold out here, come inside dear,” he insisted, pushing you back towards the bedroom. You snuck another glimpse over your shoulder, before relenting and going back inside the room.

Jimin latched the windows, preparing to close the curtains as well.

Your clothes were just in the way, should you take them off? Or should you wait and let Jimin disrobe you...? Did Jimin even want you naked for this?

This was your first time, you didn’t know the proper etiquette for the situation. It certainly couldn’t be Jimin’s first time. A hot-blooded man? A virgin? You didn’t want to make yourself laugh at this moment.

He was preparing to turn around. What if he was expecting you naked by that time?

Panic rushed through you. Quickly, you disrobed. Your dressing gown falling to the floor, your night dress soon following after.

“Well, I’m going to take my leave for the night- uh... Y/N...?”

You shut your eyes and tensed up, trying to keep your hands from covering yourself.

The room was deathly quiet. You could hear a pin drop, the curtains shift, the sound of your heart thrumming in your chest.

Why wasn’t he doing something? Shouldn’t he be taking the lead on this?

“W-Well?” You asked.

Jimin was floored. So many thoughts running through his head. Your breasts looked so soft and supple, skin smooth and shining in the candle light. Your lips were red from your teeth worrying them. You were nervous... It was obvious to him.

“What are you doing?” he asked, more confused than anything.

“What do you mean? Y-you’ve been talking about making an heir tonight, correct? That’s why you came in?”

Jimin shook his head frantically. “No! No no, my dear. Like I said, I came to apologize for my behavior earlier in the evening. However, you began to agree with me so I assumed we were thinking of similar situations. I’m sorry if I made you believe otherwise,” he stated.

“So, you don’t want to, uh, make an heir tonight?” you confirmed.

“Right now isn’t the best time to bring a child into the world It wouldn’t be safe, not yet...” Jimin said, a dark look casting over his face.

Embarrassment flooded you, causing you to drop to the floor in an attempt to gather your clothing back. Trying to save a shred of dignity.

You heard the floorboard creak and you winced at the sound. Had he decided against his statement? His urge for you growing too much.

Warmth enveloped you, causing you to open your eyes. Fabric cascaded down your body, covering your maidenhood with silk. You looked up and stared at jimin in confused. He sighed and sat on the edge of the bed, his face in his hands. He looked tired, very tired. You wrapped the robe around yourself in a hurried manner before moving to sit next to him.

It was silent for a few moments before you spoke. “Jimin,” you said, using his name. “I need answers,” you demanded.

“I suppose you do,” he concede, lifting his head from his hands. “Y/N, I’m going to tell you everything, but in return I want something from you,” he asked, turning to look you in the eyes.

“It depends on what I am promising?” Jimin gave a soft smile at your response.

“Promise you’ll be patient with me and support me where you can. I need you to be with me in this life. If you can do that, I’ll do whatever I can for you in return,” he pledged.

You sighed and took his hands, placing them in your lap. You were silent, simply holding his hands. “Jimin, I made those promises when I married you. Don’t fear, for I will always be by your side. In this life, and even the next if the stars permit. You aren’t a bad person, I feel as though fate brought us together for a reason... For what I don’t know, but I’m not one to question fate. But I beg of you, tell me the truth,” you said.

“They were people once,” he began. “However, darkness has made a place inside of their souls. The practice of black magic has been outlawed in the Kingdoms for years, however they still manage the heinous act. Slaughtering and stealing to appease their demonic suppliers. You see, black magic has a price... It must always be fed, never stopping or slowing down, for risk of punishment. There is always a price that must be paid at the end, no one escapes it either. These people, things rather, always hunger for more. It’s a ravenous appetite that never seems to be quenched. My great grandparents found a way to appease their voracious hunger at first, although eventually they craved more than what the Royals would give.”

“Namjoon said something about the old ways, is that what he was talking about?”

“He was speaking of the appeasement my great grandparents practiced. However if it stopped working over sixty years ago, I doubt it would keep them at bay now. My great Grandfather took his best men into battle and slaughtered them. Hardly any of them were left alive... And if they were, they were sent to the church to be dealt with. After that, it seemed as though our toils were over. Until this afternoon when you arrived here. They must know my father is ill. They are sick and vile beings, praying on the weak and elderly. They are far too cowardly to attack someone stronger than themselves.”

“Jimin,” you start. “You call them, they. Do they have a name?”

“We call them the forsaken. They have been abandoned by us, by God, by their own mothers in the forest beyond the Kingdom. Now, my mother sends word that there have been sightings of them near our palace. The walls surrounding my home, our home. They are supposed to keep us safe, and yet my mother sends you here... For protection. Something terrible is coming, my dear, they are coming. We aren’t ready for them, but, for right now... There is peace, and I am going to cling onto that peace until there is nothing left for my nails to dig into... I want so desperately to tell you that there is nothing on this planet that can harm you, but that is a fools promise. However, I can promise you this,” he said, grabbing your hand and placing it on his chest. “I will do everything in my power to keep you safe. You are my wife, and my future Queen. I want you to be happy with me. I don’t ever want you to do something because you feel an obligation to do so... What you said earlier about carrying our child made me think. I would have told you, but I realize you are more than just a means to produce a child... You are your own person and I want to take care of you... And I want to be happy with you,” he whispered the last part. You felt a small smile make it’s way to your lips.

“Jimin?” you tried, wanting him to look at you. Once his eyes met yours you leaned in and placed a gentle kiss to his cheek. He gave a soft grin and looked down to his knees. “I want us to be happy together as well. And I think that is highly possible. You are not a bad person, as I said before. Trust me, and work with me. Tell me the truth always. And believe in me, forever,” you said.

Jimin nodded. “That seems more than reasonable. But,” he said, raising to his feet. “It’s been a long day for you, and for me. So, I am going to retire for the evening,” he announced, heading towards the door.

You launched up so fast you couldn’t stop yourself from grabbing his wrist. Jimin looked down to your hand then to your face.

“You don’t have to go,” you said. “We’re married, it’s more than appropriate for us to share a bed,” you said with a blush on your cheeks.

“For confirmation sake, we are just sleeping, correct?”

You laughed lightly. “Yes, just sleeping,” you confirmed. You crawled into bed and pulled the covers back and buried yourself in their warmth. You heard Jimin removing his clothes, surely a peak would be alright?

Over the covers you peaked at your husband. He still had his pants on, but he was slowly unbuttoning his shirt. You watched as more of his skin was revealed to you. It felt wrong, but you couldn’t help but stare. It was the first time you’d seen a man in this state of undress.

Eventually, Jimin came to bed. Clad in a dressing gown and some underclothes he got into the other side of the bed.

The two of you laid there in silence for a few minutes, unable to fall asleep.

Finally, you couldn’t bear it any longer.

“Jimin,” you said quietly.

“Yes?” you hear him answer back.

“You can touch me, I won’t be offended or uncomfortable...”

“Um...”

“Of course you don’t have to either, I don’t want either of us to be uncomfortable in this situation. It is all rather new and I don’t want to push any sort of boundaries that we might-oh!”

Jimin had wrapped his arm around your waist and pulled you into his front, encasing you in a blanket of warmth.

“Is this alright?” he asked, his breath sending goosebumps raging across your skin. You nodded, not trusting your voice at that moment. “Good night, Y/N... Thank you for trusting me,” he said.

“Thank you for telling the truth,” you said, voice wavering.

Comfortable silence fell over the two of you, and the night and promise of sleep lured you into the waiting darkness...
