An older project, but one I still love!

A family member taught me how to quilt, and so far I have done everything with the new skills but make a quilt. But quilted jacket panels are a go!

This was was also vaguely NADDPOD inspired! I was originally going to paint some lyrics from one big bed on the yoke but I'm not confident in my lettering skills lol

(don't ask to see the inside its a disaster)

Final and process pics for my latest finished project!

This was so much fun to make, tried out lots of new skills, such as the hand sewing of the hexagons/stripes, using waste canvas, and the mounting/edge process. Approximately 80 hours of work over 4 months. I'm pretty proud of how it came out :)

Out of desk space so pattern staging has been relocated to wall space

I did this very fast and made many bad decisions and now my hands hurt 🤣 but I'm fairly happy with it :)
