getting thereeee the rest is going to be brutal. lots of scattered colors. but starting to finally see the image! I think the colors are going to work out, I was worried.
Final and process pics for my latest finished project!
This was so much fun to make, tried out lots of new skills, such as the hand sewing of the hexagons/stripes, using waste canvas, and the mounting/edge process. Approximately 80 hours of work over 4 months. I'm pretty proud of how it came out :)

First time attempting the backstitching over cross stitch. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out!
Headcanon: Nick and Charlie continue to handmake gifts. Every year they learn new skills to up their game. Year two...Nick learns to knit.
