"O Allah, Indeed You are Forgiving and love forgiveness, so forgive me”
the best dua to recite in the last 10 days of ramadan. may allah accept our repentance.
rabbana afrigh ‘alayhim sabran wa thabbit aqdaamahum wansurhum ‘ala al-qawm al-kafireen
our Lord! shower them with perseverance, make their steps firm, and give them victory over the disbelieving people.

Yahya ibn Mu’ādh, may Allāh have mercy upon him, said:
“According to how much you fear Allāh the people will respect you, and according to how much you love Allāh the people will love you, and according to how much you busy yourself with Allāh [with worship] the people will become busy in your affairs [i.e. in your service].
[Sifatu As-Safwa: 3/343]

Mālik رحمه الله related that he had heard a person he trusted from the people of knowledge say:
“Indeed, the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ was shown the lifespans of the people before him or as Allāh willed in that regard. So it was as if he felt that the lifespans of his Ummah were shortened, that they would not reach the level of deeds of those before them due to the length of life.
Therefore, Allah gave him the Night of Decree, which is better than a thousand months.”
[Muwatta: 1145]

"for you to shame your brother for a sin [that he has repented from] is an even greater sin.”
[imam ibn al qayimm]
the regret you feel at the end of ramadan for not making the most out of it, might be a reflection of the regret you will feel in your grave when you realise you could've done more in your life.
The Prophet ﷺ said, “Whoever fasts Ramadan and then follows it with six [days] from Shawwal, it's as if they have fasted a year”
oh how beautiful it is that the starting of both Chaitra Navratri (Hindu New Year) and Ramdan fell on the same day, giving us hopes and moments of joy for a new beginning <3
