REVERSE AU!!
So like, seeing @fernnshxj’s Reverse AU Miori made me dig through my stuff to find an old concept of Joan if she was in the 21st century and I present you
Joan, or Jenny, you may call her whatever! She is a smart student with some rather extreme anger issues due to her parents (completely overbearing, controlling parents soooooo-) and due to said issues, she doesn’t have many friends. She tries her best to stay calm but has a hard time doing so, only having her sisters for support. She often gets into fights and gets hurt in the process. Regardless, she is crazy good at making deals and intimidating those around her, including making people cry by pointing out flaws and mistakes they make in the worst way possible.
She is referred to be a mean girl but really, she just doesn’t know how to socialize or be nice to others aside from her sisters. (She would be kinda jelly of Miori but not dislike her). Has two sisters, one two grades older and the other two grades younger.
As the Häxa, she takes out her rage on the robots and monsters she faces, using her knife shoes to stab through them. She was rather giddy when she saw them. She is supposed to be a mediator to Kuno and Ninja, but like, she sucks and is always the one yelling the loudest because goddamn, these guys just can’t stop arguing! Would curse like a sailor and flip off anyone that annoys her. Would jump at someone if they annoyed her enough and her teammates would have to restrain her. It would happen too often for their liking.

• Took ballet when she was younger

• Favorite flower be moonflower (obvi)
• Doesn’t show it but is pretty self conscious of how she looks
• Wishes to become a businesswoman
• Hates having long hair but would be scolded by her parents if she cut it and she wants to avoid listening to them

• Would tense up and probably cry if someone hugged her

she also. really likes miori. like a lot. same tbh /j miori isn’t too keen on her, only really trusting her for whenever she needs her n that’s it. she doesn’t get along well w lucy either and lucy thinks she’s weird.
she’s also temperamental and accident prone. her scar was caused by some silly accident when she’s a kid despite it looking so serious.
and yea that’s absolute it theres definitely no one else to talk abt!!!!!!!! here’s a silly tsubame pic cuz she’s becoming super fun to draw despite her being a punching bag lowkey lol

If they were to interact, Joan would just be confused by Tsubame. As Häxa tho, she would not like her very much, she just wants to get her job done. Tsubame’s thoughts on her? No clue, I don’t know enough about her character to make an accurate statement lol
Servants of Death
The followers with the highest position of power, just below Bishop Death herself, are the Triplet Servants: Luna, Sol and Clip. These three live for their master and her goal, working as assassins and taking out those who don’t bow down to the Old Faith. Luna and Sol are the craziest of the trio, Luna finding the dismembered victims oddly beautifully grotesque while Sol is a major sadistic bastard, enjoying the pain he inflicts on others. Clip is the most sane of the bunch, and the closest follower to Bishop Death, never showing any emotion when killing.
When the Old Faith were defeated, the followers of all five Bishops ran away and hid but were all hunted down by Häxa, who at the time was a mindless beast looking for revenge after her sisters’ deaths. One by one, the general number of followers started decreasing as the enraged witch killed them all until there was only the Triplet Servants left. Häxa killed Luna and Sol, taking their charms as trophies and a reminder that the followers are soon to be gone and was then chasing after Clip who, after so long, felt imminent fear.
I have thought long and hard and I like the idea of Häxa meeting Kuno Miori (who belongs to @fernnshxj) and her friend Lucy (who belongs to @lucy6767) when they stumble upon Clip, who is nothing more than a tired and horrified being whose demise was nigh. And then Häxa appears, sickle on the follower’s throat… And so she speaks for the first time in a long while, in a low low voice…
Did you ever stop to think that eventually there's a point where your name gets mentioned for the very last time…?
Well, here it is… I’m going to kill you, Clip…
And so the witch slit their throat, killing the last follower of the Old Faith…
(First impressions? Good?? HAH!)
Meet Alma and Lily!
Before their unfortunate deaths, they were Joan’s most important people ever, her best friends.
Quick lil explanation for da sisters!
Alma was the oldest, standing at 5’2 feet tall, I would say 32-34 years old and usually tired due to endless studying. She was the most spiritually connected of her sisterhood, being able to see ghosts and exorcise them and be able to see the future, though sometimes being misleading until the event happens. She could speak many languages, one of them being Japanese. She had that resting chill face and always seemed calm and collected by the public but her sisters knew she was a chaotic and eccentric woman, often getting messy when doing experiments with Lily. She was a lesbian, loved women that could kick her ass, lol. She was the one who wrote most of the spells on the Häxa codex with the help of Lily. Indigo was more her color scheme.
Joan was the middle sister, standing at 6’2 feet tall, I would say 30-32 years old, she was (before the Bishops) a very loud and proud woman. Imagine Bakugo but less of a prick. Anyway, she wasn’t as magically inclined as her sisters were before the Häxa hat but she was the physically strongest so she acted as a protector to them and the village they lived in. She was smart but had difficulty learning new languages so she often looks confused when someone speaks in a language other than Swedish. She is demiromantic and demisexual, most likely never having a relationship until after her sisters’ passing. She was the one who found all the weapons that were included in the Häxa hat. Lavender was more her color scheme (obviously).
Lily was the youngest, standing at 5’6 feet tall, I would say 28-30 years old, being the more charismatic of the sisters. Always loving and caring, she did have her feisty side, especially when it involved her sisters. Not as spiritually inclined as Alma but not as lacking as Joan, Lily fell more in the middle, turning to mostly potions to help out around the village and became the alchemist, often harvesting materials for said potions. She was bisexual and would have had a husband and kids if she hadn’t been killed. Helped document the beasts they faced in the Häxa codex. Pink was more her color scheme.

Alma faced a horrifying beast while half asleep and just pet it before leaving
Lily can handle spice pretty well
Joan is a lightweight
When I close my eyes, I can’t see’ kinda thing
Alma would have had a lot of adopted kids if she had the chance
Lily probably cussed someone out in flower language
Joan’s voice claim would be Mitsuki Bakugo’s English dub VA
Alma would ask a lot of questions when meeting someone new
People often think Alma be the youngest sister and Joan be the oldest

I wanted to finish this lil comic sooner but I have not been feeling motivated to finish it lately and I really wanted to show it off so have this! Maybe I’ll draw it digitally and color it in the future, idk but I am quite proud how it turned out even as a WIP.

Have DeerWoman!Joan
As a Deer Woman, Joan would have a thirst for the blood of the bad men and so she and her sisters would lure them away before bringing over their demise and then eating their hearts. She has three forms: her human form, her half and half form and finally her monstrous form that I have not drawn cause I am still thinking of it. In human form, she looks pretty uncanny valley but nobody really notices. And she has hooves and a fluffy lil deer tail :3 Plus some antlers but she usually rips them off as she doesn’t want to bring attention to herself with them. She would still be the Häxa but like, more murdery and stuff ya know?

Everything would have stayed the same except that now they have scars, not just Joan, and they are much bigger than hers as well. Due to how deep her injury was, Alma became half blind but that didn’t stop her from making more experiments and studying and interacting with ghosts and visions of the future. As for Lily, her scar, that goes from her neck to almost reaching her elbow, may have caused a bit of mobility issues on her arm but nothing major. In this version, Joan wouldn’t have gone livid and gone on a killing spree but she still mad they got so hurt by the Bishops. Instead of killing the followers like in the OG version, she merely captures them and imprisons them to have them properly punished for their crimes. So no bad impressions in front of Miori or Lucy lol!

Differences between Joans
Got bored so I am making a list of facts about OG Joan and Deer Joan as to show the differences between the two. * OG Joan originates from Sweden while Deer Joan originates from Native America * OG Joan is around 6'2 feet tall while Deer Joan (in human diguise) is around 6'7, however, she hunches a lot * OG Joan always looks tired or mad, sometimes sad, while Deer Joan's face seems to be stuck in an unreadable expression, never blinking. Sometimes though, it will change to an angry look if she sees someone being hostile to a vulnerable human. * OG Joan is pretty fit under her outfit while Deer Joan is more skinny underneath, and of course some parts of her body may be longer or less human than the OG. * OG Joan is in her 30s, Deer Joan has been around for much MUCH longer. * OG Joan doesn't have any weaknesses against anything that is unusual, she still gets sick, injured, etc, while Deer Joan is weak to silver and special runes. * OG Joan has trust issues due to trauma while Deer Joan is just not accostumed to being around humans a lot, in a friendly environment that is. * OG Joan's voice would sound like Mitsuki Bakugo's and so would Deer Joan's but she would take pauses between sentences to get the words right. * OG Joan has a normal human appearance while Deer Joan looks more uncanny valley, lips a bit too long, eyes too wide, teeth too sharp, arms too long, etc. * OG Joan would use weapons while Deer Joan just uses her claws * OG Joan is familiar about different spirits due to her sisters always taking about them while Deer Joan is more unfamiliar and curious when meeting a certain red fox one (hehe) * OG Joan dies of sickness while Deer Joan dies in a fire. -------- And now just some facts about Deer Joan! * Her favorite thing to eat are literal human hearts but any other kind of meat will suffice * If she heard someone scream or cry, it will trigger her instincts * She is curious about human hair, her own just doesn't feel the same * Whenever she wishes to rest, she goes to a nearby forest and turns into a deer form to sleep * She has a soft spot for women and children * Her eyes turn black when enraged * She bleeds an unknown black liquid * Wears long pants to hide her deer feet but they too long so she often stumbles * Same with the sleeves, they long enough to hide her claws * She is surprisingly gentle when calm * Would be willing to accept headpats * And have her face squeezed, although she be confused **The Häxa hat is technically still the same, ish, difference is that the wearer will be able to connect with spirits around her on a deeper level and the spirit that be connected to it instead of being a Bakeneko, it be a Wendigo. Oh, and the hat gonna have antlers lol**
**Plus, they still fall in love with Finja and vice versa, even if Deer Joan is a monster (monster lovers, heheheheh)**
I love Tsubame's silly self even more, such a girl fail (mood!) Okay okay, just a quick question (or two), but how would Tsubame feel about Joan (and Haxa considering she wouldn't know they the same person and the witch comes around often despite not being part of the Norisu 9)? Like, Joan would be confused by Tsubame's antics since my girl only understands Swedish and as Haxa, she actually understands her and is honestly just annoyed (Bonus: I like imagining Tsubame and Lucy being the only ones to notice DeerWoman!Joan is very much NOT human while the others don't. DeerWoman!Joan would be curious about Tsubame since she silli) Sorry for rambling but god this week is stressing me out and I need to let off some sort of steam!

The Husk Häxa
The human, a creature of earth and sky, whose body was forged for hunting and harvesting, whose mind stretched toward wisdom, and whose heart swelled with boundless empathy. Together, these three—body, mind, and heart—create a force unparalleled in nature. Without the mind, they are lost, wandering in darkness. Without the heart, they are cold, drifting far from compassion. And without the body… well, you need no telling. They cannot walk this world.
But what, you ask, becomes of the body abandoned by its mind and heart? What fate befalls the hollow shell that was once filled with life and love?
They call her —it— The Husk, a being that was once human, walking through the world yet no longer truly part of it. She was once like you or me: brave, kind, wise. In her time, she was not alone. She carried within her the spirits of her sisters. Alma, the eldest, whose mind shone like a beacon, unmatched in reason and thought. And Lily, the youngest, whose heart burned with warmth, guiding their steps with love and virtue.
But now, the light of her mind has faded, and the fire of her heart has flickered out. Her sisters are gone, and with them, her sense of self. The Husk remains, a hollow vessel driven only by the primal need to fight, to survive, and to protect. Does she seek to bring harm? Perhaps… or perhaps she seeks something more. No one knows, for the Husk follows neither logic nor love. She is a creature beyond both now—a warrior without a soul, a guardian without purpose.
Basically an AU where Joan lost all logic and morality, no more than an empty vessel that only fights, eats and never sleeps, having only the bare minimum of humanity left in her. Would give more info but I have a splitting headache rn and it’s getting worse ✌️
